Do you still want me? (R)

Lakai walked to the brotherhood mansion. She had no idea how she got there. She didnt remember the way. She didnt take a taxi or any other mode of transportation. She wandered the city for hours before arriving at the brotherhood mansion. She wasnt sure what brought her here but she figured might as well. She knocked on the door and waited for an answer.

Shikon was roaming around the Brotherhood mansion when he heard the knock on the door. He sighed slowly making his way to the door. Life had become pretty boring without Lakai around. Shikon finally made it to the door and when he opened it he couldn't believe who he saw standing there. "Lakai? Is that really you? I'm not going crazy am I?" Shikon had been missing Lakai so much that he had actually been imagining her around the mansion.

Lakai smiled nervously and looked around with a sense of anxiety. " Im not sure how i ended up here. I just started wandering the city and i eventually ended up here. Im sorry if im intruding. Its like i was drawn here." She ran a hand through her hair and slowly looked up at Shikon. She somehow already felt safer and more secure in his presence than she had in days. It was like part of her had been missing and now it was whole again.

Shikon smiled widely at her. He gently grabbed Lakai's hand. "Believe me, you could never intrude on me. Besides this is your home my dear. Would you like to come in? Surely you don't want to just stand in the doorway?"  Shikon didn't wait for an answer before he was gently pulling her into the mansion and closing the door. Lakai was here and he didn't ever want to lose her again. "So how have you been..." He didn't want Lakai to be uncomfortable around him. So he was trying to make polite conversation.

Lakai let him lead her inside. She looked around and had faint memories of the place. Just little things here and there. It was a little overhwelming. " Well ive found out im a murderer and pretty much most of the mutant community either hates me, fears me, or has a price on my head. Other than that im awesome." The old Lakai showed a little bit with her sarcastic manner of speaking.

Adrienne was bored out of her mind. Just sitting in the mansion and waiting for something bad to happen was like waiting for the world to end. Too long, too boring. She's been throwing her daggers into the wall and, making the holes in wall bigger and bigger and more of them too. "I just don't see why we can't go out and cause a little chaos. Not like X-Men are going to bother with us anyway. It is only for--" her words were cut off when Shikon said Laika. Adrienne turned around and looked at the door. There stood Laika. 

She quickly ran up to the wall where the dagger was sticking out and with careless precision she threw the dagger at Lakai. She had her reason for wanting Lakai dead.

Lakai noticed Adrienne running out of the corner of her eye. The quick movement caught her attention. " SHIKON WATCH OUT!" She shoved him out of the way barely missed getting hit by the knife herself. She let out a snarl and snatched up the knife.

Her mismatched set of one blue eye and one green eye glowed with anger. She rushed Adrienne And slammed her into the wall, using her arm against the girl's windpipe to hold her there. With her other hand she held the knife to the girl's face. " I dont know who you are but would you like to explain what the fuck you are doing?"

Adrienne barely had any time to react as to what she just did. She was slammed against a wall with a grunt. "Oh...look what the cat dragged in," said Adrienne with a hateful look on her face. "Did you come back to destroy the rest of the Brotherhood? Well it's not going to happen."

With a loud female yell, Adrienne activated her force field which would have thrown Loika away from her. Because it would be just jumping on bouncy ball. Adrienne looked at Shikon. "She nearly killed us all that day!"

Lakai looked confused when Adrienne said she almost killed them. Before she could react she was thrown backwards. She hid the floor and slid a few feet. She jumped to her feet and looked around wildly like a caged animal. " WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! Ive never even met you before!" She said to Adrienne.

Adrienne was mad at Loika. She has played this I-don't-know-who-you-are game for far too long, and it was annoying her now. "YOU ARE MEMBER OF THE BROTHERHOOD. WE ARE THE "EVIL" MUTANTS!" Adrienne began to yell. "We FOUGHT X-MEN BECAUSE OF YOU, NEARLY GETTING KILLED BECAUSE OF YOU!"

She was now out of breath, "Why did you come back?Just go and kill yourself already. No one misses you anymore!" said Adrienne. She was infuriated with anger and hate toward this lady, and she couldn't show it any other way other then yelling and fighting. "Stop with all that bullshit that you can't remember!"

OOC: um. Im Lakai. Not Loika.

BIC:

Lakai was more confused than ever. Whoever this chick was she had serious problems. Worse than Lakai. She almost pitied the wretch but she wouldnt show it. " I woke up at the Xmen Mansion two weeks ago with half the place wanting to murder me. I come here and more people want to murder me. I DONT EVEN KNOW WHERE HERE IS! SO COOL YOUR FUCKING HEELS. I really DONT remember anything after a few years ago."

The old Lakai was starting to surface. It was like a beast struggling to free itself. She smiled a cold smile and her whole demenor changed. " Feeling threatened little kitten? Trying to steal my mate while this head bitch was away? Im not some attention starved hipster teen who blindly offs myself because some insecure little nothing decides to take her abandonment issues out on everyone else. Take a midol bitch." Her face lightened up again and she quirked an eyebrow. " Woa. where did that come from."

Shikon had let the proceedings continue on for long enough. He lit a wall of fire between the two women and glared at them. "That will be enough Adrienne. We don't just go attacking people who walk through our door unless they attack us first. You of all people should know that. Lakai really can't remember much. She just got her memory fixed sorta." Shikon let wall die down a little. Then he walked closer to the two of them. "Adrienne please be more polite. I don't care how hot headed you are. We may be evil, but that doesn't mean we can't be civilized." Shikon turned and looked at Lakai "It is true that a few weeks ago the X-Men and the Brotherhood had a huge fight, probably the biggest ever between the two. And it's true that it was because of you. A lot of people wanted you dead Lakai , a lot of people. The only reason you're even still here is because I wouldn't let them touch you. You can ask Adrienne here. When it came down to it in that fight I wouldn't let anyone touch. I fought Jason, and your sister's daughter at the same time. Adrienne got struck by lightening. And it was all for you." Shikon turned by the Adrienne and smiled "You and I both know that you never had to take part in the battle. I asked for volunteers. But that isn't the point. How are you after the lightening strike? Everything as it should be?"

"OH CUT THE CRAP. LAKAI!" yelled Adrienne. "If you know who Shikon  is then you damn well know where you are at." It was so frustrating to talk to her. It's like she has been wiped clean. Like am empty recycling bin. Nothing. "Are you sure they didn't perform lobotomy on you? Maybe you'll be more cooperative as a mindless whore that you are?" 

Adrienne felt as if she was crossing the boundaries, but she didn't care it didn't matter to her who she was and who her man was. "Damn right you are a bitch!" confirmed Adrienne. "But you are wrong, I wouldn't take a place of a whore such as yourself. We risked our asses out there all because you decided to kill another bitch. Well, guess what? SHE LIVED! Hope getting your ass kicked was worth it!"

Lakai barely touched shikon but they still made contact. She could feel a burning inside of her and she noticed a flame swirling aroung the palm of her hand. It wasnt burning her though. She snarled at Adrienne and brought her arm back. She swung and a flame whip extended. It's backlash caught Adrienne on the cheek and left a small burn. Nothing more serious than second degree. Enough to hurt but not to kill. " WATCH WHO YOU CALL A WHORE! Now run along before i decide to do something REALLY rash you insolent pup." The flame whip slowly faded away till it was all but a smolder.

OOC: Please don't take control of my character.

BIC: Adrienne flinched her head just in time, but was caught anyway. Her cheek began to bleed, but she didn't care. It was in the brain. Adrienne looked at Lakai with menacing look. "YOU HEARD ME RIGHT...WHORE." said Adrienne nearly growling. "How many times did you had to give Shikon the "pleasure" before he made you Queen of Whores?" asked Adrienne."

She was still mad about the day they fought with X-Men. If it wasn't for her trying to kill Loika, they would never had to fight. Now if any of them showed their faces at Xaviers, most likely they'd get killed if not worse. Adrienne shot Shikon a distasteful look as well. "Your concern for my well being is touching, but don't you have bigger issues to deal with?" she said, turning and storming out of the room.
