playing in the park NC17

Natasha sat on a park bench and started to put her rollerblades on. She extended an invitation to meet her at the park. She was kind of excited. She thought he was pretty cute and she really wanted to spend more time around him. Learn about him. Who knows, maybe he would meet up with her at Kelly's party

She was dressed comfortably for the day. After she had her rollerblades on she grabbed an energy bar from her backpack and took a few bites. She leaned her head back on the bench and closed her eyes as she chewed. She was feeling a little weak and the balance bar was helping.

Nolan finally got to the park after a nightmare of getting lost. He was trying to learn the city without using his teleportation to just poof around. Maybe sometime he'd just have to take a birds-eye view from one of the many tall buildings in the city.

 He entered the park, wearing a blue colored t-shirt with some abstract design on it in black and white, with light khaki cargo shorts, and black sneakers. Moving the toothpick in his mouth to the other corner, He looked ahead increasing his range of vision, He found Natasha sitting on one of the various benches scattered throughout the park. He walked making his way over to where she was. He approached quietly as he often unintentionally did. He stood next to the bench, He looked at Natasha who was eating whatever had been in the wrapper in her hand. "Hey." He said. Then he looked at her rollerblades. "I guess I'll just be walking." he said with his hands in his pockets.

Natasha was letting the sun warm her skin. There werent many days like this back in Russia. She could kinda get used to this. She sat up quickly and grinned when she heard Nolan's voice. She put the wrapper in her pocket and stood up. She would throw it away later. She stood up skated over to him. " I can take them off if joo want? its okay with natasha. Natasha is just happy you here." She blushed and felt stupid instantly for her poor english. The cute boy would never like her if he thought she was stupid.

Nolan watched Natasha, get up and roll over to where he was. He looked up at her since the rollerblades gave her a little extra height. She offered to take off her rollerblades. Nolan noticed her blush "It's up to you." Nolan said stretching his back. " I can try to keep up as long as you don't roll away to fast."  He told her. He waited for her to make a decision of what to do with the rollerblades.  " Which way are we going?" he asked waving his hand back and forth at the wrist pointing to the multiple pathways.

Natasha skated back over to the bench and took off her rollerblades. She stuffed them into her backpack and grinned. " It doesnt matter. Enjoying the weather. In my country it very cold. I miss cold." She walked alongside Nolan. She was a very leggy girl. It was easy for her to keep up with him with her long strides. She wanted to know alot about him but she was feeling too shy to ask.

Nolan shrugged when he was told it didn't matter which path. " Yeah, It is kinda nice today." Nolan said. " I hear cold weather's supposed to be good for you in several ways." He said.  He tried to keep a slowish steady pace, taking it easy. Checking out the park as they walked along. After a small period of silence he tried to break it. " Soo, Uh, when did you get to the school?" He asked not really sure where else to start.

"Well, after my powers manifested, I was slowly exiled in school. Started small, like not being allowed to play in sports. Growing to getting eggs thrown at me. Which, with my powers, weren't hard to dodge." He said. " But as I grew further away from the social life of school, only having one or two friends who didn't see me as a freak. I took to other hobbies. I got into street art. It's also known as graffiti and considered illegal. But with my powers I could reach really hard to get to spaces of wall rather easily. I got pretty good. Not that i'll ever be famous for it like Banksy. Then one day I received a letter inviting me to the school. Few busses and a few trains, I arrive in New York. That's pretty much it."

Natasha listened in to Nolan's story in fascination. " What is Nolan's power? you never tell." A watch on her wrist started to beep and she looked at it. She took another energy bar from her backpack and chewed on it while she listened to him. They were passing one of the numerous ponds in the park and some of the ducks were walking on the path. She broke off a piece of the granola bar and crumbled up the pieces. She sprinkled them on the ground for the ducks and giggled when they ate them. 

"Teleportation and superhuman senses." Nolan replied when asked about his power. He took note of the watch and the action following the beeping watch. "So what about yourself?" He asked watching the ducks nibble on the crumbs of the granola bar. He smiled at the ducks waddling to try and get the food first.  He knelt down and picked up a stone and whipped it towards the pond and it skipped a few times before losing speed and sinking into the water.

"Interesting powers." Nolan said. " They sound a little taxing." He said. "My super senses are pretty much always on though. That's annoying in a different sense." He said. "I can pretty much see anything near or far. Which isn't that bad. I can hear everything, but im more sensitive to loud noises. I can smell EVERYTHING good and bad. I can taste the ingredients in food, I can taste if someone messed something up in a dish. And my sense of humor is out the door." He said adding a little joke on the end.

Natasha laughed at his joke. It was true though. She hadnt known him long but he was already incredibly funny. " Maybe you cook with Natasha some time. I show how to make Russian foods. You would like." As they walked along they passed some guys about thier age. One of them heard natasha talk and started to laugh. " Go back to Mother Russia until you learn english!" He yelled as they passed by. Natasha looked down and didnt say anything back. She pretended not to hear the "in mother russia" jokes they were yelling while still walking away. She hated her poor english but she couldnt help it. She was emberassed.

Nolan listened to Natasha talk about having him try Russian food.  He was about to reply back when he was shoulder bumped by someone from a group of guys who started to make fun of Natasha's accent. "Well aren't you guys all funny. Don't you all have something better to do like play in a trash compactor?" He  said to them as they walked away behind them. He turned back and saw Natasha hanging her head in embarrassment. He reached down and took her hand. "It's going to be alright." He told her. He was about to say "Lets get moving" when he heard something whizzing behind them. He turned saw it and caught the stone, before it hit him. He stared down the group of guys before dropping the stone.

Natasha was trying not to cry. it was stupid to let some idiots get to her but the tears still slowly ran down her cheeks. Her hair hid her face for the most part. She winced when she heard the rock fly by. She was shocked to see Nolan catch it. She screamed in pain when another rock was thrown by the idiots and it hit her. They started to throw more. She picked up a few of the rocks, charged them, and flung them back at them. She hated bullies. she ignored the blood on her forehead from the rock that hit her.

When the jerks started to pelt both of them with rocks. Nolan took out his toothpick and held it in his right hand. " I was hoping this walk would go smoothly and no one would have to get hurt..." He teleported behind the group and jabbed the toothpick into the base of one of the boy's necks where the shoulder meets it. "You provoked me." He said using the boy as a shield against Natasha's rocks she was throwing. He pushed him forward into his friend knocking them both off balance before teleporting to squat position behind another and catching his the back of his knee in the V of his hand and pushing up and forward putting him off balance and then on the ground. He stood up and threw a kick teleporting so that the kick connected with the fourth guys head. The last one stumbled backward and fell and tried crawling backwards. " Just remember this the next time you're about to make fun of someone: You never know what they can do. I better not see you harassing anybody else for any reason." He said.  He pat the side of the boys face. " Have a nice day."  He said before teleporting back to Natasha. " You alright? You need to eat something?" He wasn't really sure how the burning off food and energy thing worked, but he was asking to be on the safe side. " You wanna keep going?" He asked her.

Natasha felt something sticky on her eyebrow and touched it. She made a surprised noise and fished around in her backpack for a handkerchief. She used it to wipe most of the blood off of her head but she could feel a small gash along her hairline. That was going to need at least two stitches.

She nodded to Nolan when he returned. " Na- I am alright. Small rock not so much energy needed. I will be fine. No worries. I hate bullies." She said still holding the handkerchief to her head. " are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." He said. " Bullies piss me off too." he said sitting down on the edge of the nearby fountain, pulling out another toothpick from the small box and sticking it in his mouth. "They won't know what hit them." He said. Then he laid down along the edge folding his hands behind his head. He sighed looking up at the clouds in the sky. He got lost in thought.

Natasha sat on the edge of the fountain and cleaned the cut on her head. The water felt nice. She didnt have many mischievous ideas but when she did they were good. She quietly stepped into the fountain after taking off her shoes. She tried not to giggle as she tiptoed through the water up to Nolan. At the last minute she put her hands down in the water and splashed nolan. She couldnt hold it in any longer and started laughing.

Nolans eyes shifted as he heard something moving through the water. He could smell Natasha's scent getting closer. He shook his head. He could only figure what was coming next. Then he was splashed with water. "Alright then. You know, this means war." He said as he sat up and kicked off his shoes and stepping into the fountain kicking water at Natasha while she was laughing.

Natasha squealed when the cold water splashed at her. She pranced away through the water as quickly as she could. She was like a little kid again. She splashed back at him and ran around the statue in the middle of the fountain. Her hair and clothes were soaked but she didnt care.

She hid behind the statue and started sneaking up on Nolan from the other side. She tried to walk through the water as quietly as she could behind him. It took everything to hold her giggles in.

Nolan watches as Natasha ran behind the fountain's statue. "You've chosen a poor hiding spot." he says walking closer to the fountain not even caring about the water coming from the fountain soaking him.

Natasha hopped out from her hiding place and splashed Nolan when she landed. By now her shorts and tank top were completely soaked. An elderly couple walking by chuckled at the youngsters playing in the fountain. She kicked at the water to splash at him again and slipped in the fountain. She landed on her butt and laughed harder.

Nolan laughed as well when Natasha slipped trying to kick water at him. "See? Karma just bit you back for all that." he said before sitting down on the edge of the fountain over by Natasha.

Natasha giggled and stood up. She was standing halfway up in a crouched position when she was almost nose to nose with Nolan. She hesitated. Nolan made her feel like she had butterflies in her stomach and made her blush. Most boys didnt make her feel like that. She leaned in closer and closed the small distance between them and gently pressed her lips against his in a soft kiss. She had never kissed a boy before so she wasnt even sure if she did it right.
