The Menace Is Here (R)

Gavin hurled his sword, and missed Dragon for only an inch. Ripping the katana off of the wall, Gavin pounced away from the floor, and chased Dragon. The bastard was gonna pay for what he did to Akkie and to Gavin himself. Gavin had been careless. No more of that. This time he'd kill the bastard.

But soon, Dragon disappeared, and Gavin growled with anger. Entering a dark alley, Gavin was greeted by shadows that held him in the air. "What the..."

Archard held out an arm, with his palm open. He had finally tracked Gavin down a few months prior, and he and Dragon were able to plot against him and his little group of friends. Arch didn't really care if Achilles lived, or if Luna lived, but Gavin had to die. And so did Cameron. Specially, since Cameron was now pregnant with Gavin's child. The less family members the Kaaos family had, the better. Although Gavin had no idea why Archard hated him, Arch had his reasons.

"Hello, Gavin!" Archard greeted his foe, with a twisted grin stamped across his darkened face. The shadows held Gavin high up, as they pulled harder and harder. "Do you know me?" he asked, as he slowly approached the man.

When the man spoke, Gavin let out a growl heard across the city. "Who are you?" he yelled, pulling the shadows with all his strength. Who was this man? Gavin couldn't even see him clearly, but he was hte one doing this. He was behind Dragon. So he was to blame for Achilles's death. So he was gonna pay. Dearly.

A grin hit his face, as Archard saw the man struggle against the shadows that bound him. "I wouldn't do that if I were you. I used your own shadow to hold you down. By tearing your shadow apart, you'll be tearing half of yourself apart!" Archard said. A bluff he usually used. It was quite believable, since not many people had knowledge about Arch's powers. "I'm from your family, uncle." Archard said, as he finally got to Gavin. He took out one of the man's katanas from its holster, and thrust it into Gavin's stomach. "But I hate our family!"

Gavin felt the blade exit his back, and clenched his jaw. "Well, you killed Akkie! It's your fault! So I'm gonna kill you for it!" Gavin shouted, ignoring the pain. While Archard still held the blade in his stomach, Gavin brought his head back, and then forwards, so he could hit the younger man. While he did so, he pulled one of his trapped legs with such brute strength, he ripped it in half, right by the knee. He wasn't lying when he said I'd rip half of myself apart. Half of my leg is gone, Gav thought.

Archard thrust the blade even further, until the handle was unreachable. While he did that, he couldn't even notice what else Gav was doing. Suddenly, all he saw was a pool of blood on the floor, and on top of it, half of Gavin's leg, dipped in the crimson substance. As he was about to mock Gavin, Archard flew against a building, crashing through it, and coming out on the other side. He closed his eyes for a while, and felt as if he was going to lose consciousness. Soon, he was back on his feet, but with blood across his face. His nose was broken, and his forehead had an ugly cut. His ear was pierced by a stone that had fallen through it while he went through the building. But he wasn't gonna back out. Turning into nothing but air, Archard was in front of Gavin once more, and clenched his jaw. "You're not gonna catch me by surprise again!" he growled, before taking Gavin's new, still shinny colt 45. 

Checking the bullets, Archard smirked. Adamantium huh, he thought, before pointing the gun at Gav's chest. "So, how many times have you avoided death?" Arch questioned him, his finger on the trigger.

Gavin was able to smile after he saw Arch getting thrown against the building. While he had time, he did his best to find a way out of the shadows' grasp. To no avail. Archard was back on his feet, and ready to kill Gav with the gun he had retrieved from the sewers, before he set the old place on fire. Maia's gun. No way he was getting killed by his best friend's weapon. Twisting his full body, his arms were ripped in half and so was his left leg, and Gavin fell to the floor, losing a lot of blood. Then, the katana that had pierced his body fell out of the hole, and Gavin grabbed hold of it with his teeth. He hurled it at Archard's arm, while he crawled using his head, to the rest of his right leg.

Archard's eyes widened, as Gavin broke free of the shadows, and the katana suddenly came flying at him. Dissolving in a blink of an eye, the sword hit the building behind him, before Archard reappeared. He pointed his gun at Gavin and grinned, "Gonna have to try harder pal," Arch smirked, before pulling the trigger. The bullet got out at full speed, and headed towards Gavin's head. Archard had yet to understand what he was gonna try to do by getting his leg, but soon it'd be explained.

Gavin rolled away from the bullet, and landed in the pool of blood. Pulling his torn off leg with his teeth, he placed it next to his knee. His healing factor kicked in, and the blood that laid in the floor began to go back into both parts of his leg. Soon, both parts intertwined and became one again. Gavin smirked, as the hole in his stomach had closed already. Jumping in the air, Gav reattached his other lost limbs, and cracked his neck, "Round two! Motherfucker!"

Cameron's brown eyes searched frantically as she flew overhead. The text message she had received had brightened her mood considerably. Gavin was alive, just as Zain had told her....

Text Message :

She had waited for him for over an hour before a feeling of impending danger began to wash over her. Something wasn't right. Gavin was always on time. When he said he would be someplace, he was there... This being 'late' was not typical Gavin behavior. Taking to the air, not giving a damn what attention might be drawn to herself, she searched for any sign on him.

Cameron landed on top of a tall building to rest. Breathing heavily, she scanned the streets below. Nothing.... No sign of him. "Gavin, where are you?" she whispered to no one. Walking across the rooftop, her eyes fell on one of many alleyways below. There was a scuffle of some kind occurring between what appeared to be two men. Suddenly, Cameron's eyes widened in fear as she realized who she was seeing below. Gavin...

Diving off the building, she was once again airborne and quickly moved to the alley. Once overhead, she gave a great flap of her cream wings, sending an immense blast of wind aimed at Gavin's attacker before landing on one of the fire escape landings on the side of the building, no more than 20 feet above them. She lost him once, she was not going to lose him again...

Archard grinned once he saw Gavin put himself back together. Little smart bastard wasn't he. "Being Kalim's son, I expected you to be tough!" Arch commented, and then he tilted his head to the side once he heard a flap of a wing. Foolish girl, he said, turning into a dark fog, as the wind simply passed by. Reappearing again, he smiled. Cameron was in a tough spot. She was in a place filled with shadows. Which empowered Archard even further. Moving his hand, all shadows around the woman moved, and two bigger shadows grabbed her wings. Archard swung his arm to the side, and a shadow then made the same movement, and was about to slash Cameron in half.

Gavin didn't think twice. He growled at Archard, before jumping up to where Cameron was. Once the shadow passed by, it cut Blade's jacket in half, as Gavin was successful in pushing Cameron out of the way. Then, he smiled, and kissed her lips, for what seemed to be the last time they'd do that. Pulling her with enough force to tear a building in half, Gavin winked, "Sorry for this," he apologized, because to rip out of the shadows, he'd need to rip Cameron off of her wings.

Archard let out a demented laugh while watching the scene. Suddenly, he let out a big gasp instead, and took a deep breath. His eyes suddenly turned completely dark, with only a dark yellow dot on them. His ears turned pointier, and a darkness cloak formed around him. Anarchy had awaken. Letting the shadows go of Cameron, he made them destroy the fire escape, so Gavin instead of taking Cam away from the shadows, would bring both her and him crashing to the ground.

Gavin noticed the shadows letting go of Cameron just in time to let go of her, and fell backwards onto the floor. He fell straight down, all the 20 feet down, and crashed through the ground. A huge crater was formed, and in the middle, laid Gavin. He slowly sat up, crawling away from the impact zone. "Cameron!!!", he shouted. Crawling a bit more, his eyes widened suddenly. Where was Archard...

As the fire escape came down, Anarchy only had time to see Gavin fall down, before turning into his mist form, and going up to the air. After the smoke caused by Gavin's crash landing disappeared, Anarchy was able to see clearly once more. He came down, materializing some feet away from the crawling Gavin. He picked up Gavin's katana, and jumped up in the air. Once he came down, while holding the hilt of the blade, he brought the sword down, cleanly cutting Gavin's head off.

Gavin was about to yell for Cameron once more, when he heard the wind being disrupted. As he looked up, a blade made a cut in his neck. Then, that cut was further deepened, as the blade completely cut his head off. His eyes widened, as his jaw opened so he could say Cameron's name one more time. To no avail. Life quickly left his body, as it fell to the floor.

Anarchy giggled darkly, before breaking the katana in half. But with a snap, Archard was back. What the...Anarchy did this!, he thought. Gavin was dead, and Archard felt like his mind was less darkened. But seeing his head cut off wasn't enough. Archard then summoned two shadows, one engulfed Gavin's body, and the other engulfed his head. Clenching his fist, the shadows crushed Gavin's body and head, killing the New York City Samurai once and for all. "I've finally gotten rid of you..." he sighed.

Archard chuckled when he saw Gav's little girlfriend on her knees. Women. How weak. They could be broken so easily. When Cameron hurled part of the fire escape at Archard, he simply vanished, letting it go against the building. "Aye Aye Aye, when will you people understand I AM UNTOUCHABLE!!!" he shouted, darkness surrounding him, and making a dark blue aura that sent blasts of wind everywhere. Extending his arms he grabbed two shadows, one from each building, pulling them with all his strength, closing the entry to the alley. Then he glanced at her own shadow, and made it try to hold Cam down, by holding her ankles, making them be glued to the ground. He smirked as he saw the shadows try to hold her.

Archard rolled his eyes when Cameron flew up into the sky. Archard was more powerful during the night, so even the skies would help him. Looking at her position, Archard smirked. She was still in range for his plan. Turning into his misty form, he hovered up into the highest building, and materialized once more. He pulled the shadow of the two tallest buildings up and closed the perimeter. Now, Cameron had no route of escape. Shadows covered every corner, and Archard was coming for her.

Creating two orbs of pure darkness, Archard hurled them at Cameron, before turning into air once more, and hovering through the air, in her direction.

With a dark grin on his face, Archard's fog form traveled around the darkness, eyeing Cameron. She was getting frustrated, he could feel it. It'd be even more satisfying to see her plea for life. Materializing next to her, he got down on one knee and smirked, holding another orb of darkness in his hand, "Because I hate my family..." he said, and hurled the orb at her stomach, with the intent of ending her child's life. Then, he'd be haunted even less. But killing Cameron herself would just be too satisfying for Archard not to do it.

"Yes, my family," Archard stated, as his orb hit Cameron's stomach. A sick grin came to his face, as he could feel Cameron's pain. One less person that would cause him pain. As she squirmed due to the lost of her baby, Archard shook his head, "Let me just put you out of your misery," he sighed, bringing the darkness all around to him. They formed a sphere around Archard, that disintegrated the cable Cameron had thrown at Arch, without Arch even noticing.

"Go meet your maker!" Archard shouted, as the darkness sphere exploded, sending waves of darkness everywhere. If small little orbs of darkness burned, a wave would be able to disintegrate nearly anything. And that was what Arch had in mind. Destroy every particle of Cameron's being.
