He was dead...I swear.

Achilles was laying in a coma. On the hospital bed. Surgical tubing and wires everywhere. His right arm had been reconstructed with Titanium and steel alloy a thrid of Adamantium. His jaw had stitches everywhere. His eyes had been rebuilt with cybernetics, they were redish now. A deep crimson red. His right knee has also been replaced with the alloy, his left fist was also made from the alloy also. His ribcage has been rebuilt as has his left lung. He had a second heart fitted as his old one couldn't be removed or it would let a piece of shrapnel loose. He was laying in this bed sound asleep. A scanner showed his brainwaves were minimal. His heart rate at 5 bpm. He was almost dead. He however. Was aware of the world around him. He knew Zain impersonated him. He knew that Dragon was hired. He knew  Logan Grimm was in town, along with Reaper. He knew Kronos was comming. He knew Cameron was attacked. He knew everything. Why? Because Reaper and Zain had told him. They talked to him in his sleep. He knew everything.

Cameron couldn't believe it as she was escorted to a hospital bed in the ICU. Upon returning from a walk around the grounds, she found a letter that instructed her to go to the hospital and ask for Achilles. She didn't know what to expect, and was blown away when they told her that he had been there for quite some time. Cameron thought about the last time she spoke to Achilles, only moments after she was attacked. But, it wasn't him? Then who...

When they reached the desired room, Cameron thanked the nurse and slipped inside. Removing and draping her black pea coat over one of the chairs, she flexed her wings slightly, allowing them to adjust as they wished after being tucked away. Going to his bed, Cameron looked at the damage he had sustained. Unthinkable.... "You were always the tough one," she said to Achilles as she peeked at his monitors. She sat gently on the bed next to him as she tried to wrap her mind around all that was happening. As a tear fell down her cheek, she wiped it away.

Luna flew back home from Switzerland in the form of a hawk knowing Achilles loved that bird. She received a call from the hospital about Achilles and her heart had been racing since. Crash landing in one of the alleyways, she stood up with her arms and knees scraped and bleeding but she didn't care. Achilles was Luna's top priority at this moment. Sprinting to the front desk with her gold eyes ablaze, Luna glared at the nurse. ''Where is he!? Where's Achilles!?'' She shouts and the nurse begins to tell her to calm down. ''I will not calm down until i know where he is.'' The nurse points and tells her the directions with slight fear that Luna would hurt her.

Running down the hall, dodging everyone, Luna skids at the door and sees her true love and Cameron in the room. Slowly walking in, she scans over everything around Achilles and then Achilles himself. Her hand shakily covered her mouth as tears rolled down her cheeks. Her heart shattered as she stared at the heart monitor...it was so low...

Seating herself in one of the chairs on the opposite side of the bed to Cameron, Luna shakily and lightly took his hand. ''Cammie...W-what happened?'' She whispered softly in a broken voice, fresh tears rolling down her cheeks. Her usual strong demeanor shattered right before Cameron, allowing Cameron to see what Luna was really like. Resting her forehead on the bed, she cried and cried, more than she has ever done in her entire life.

Achilles was lurking in his memories. In his mind, he was in a room. Alone, in the dark. Trapped. Then something the room shook "What is this?" he said in this room. The room flipped and tumbled. And sound entered the room a voice. "A girl, no a woman. Who?!" he thought "LUNA!?" in the real world. His charts went beserk and his heart rate rocketed setting of alarms in the room. Nureses and Doctors surged in asking for drugs and needles then there was a dull droning beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. The heart rate flatterend and the brain scans registered nothing. Achilles Grimm had died. The doctors and nurses gave their apologizes, and Luna cried out.

Then they heard it.

"I aint dead yet Luna."

His voice echoed in the silent room. The doctors turned and seemed shocked. The heart rate stableized. His brain activity was normal. Achilles had done the impossible. He was alive after all this. He opened his crimson red eyes and smiled. Taking Luna's hand. "Heya baby..." his voice barely a whisper. He turned to Cam. "Sorry, it was Zain, he wanted to keep me alive, he thought I died..." He then turned back to Luna. "I am to stubborn, and I have you to live for..." his voice so quiet. His grip light, but still there.

Luna heard the long beep and her heart stopped, shattered and then that's when she heard it. I ain't dead yet Luna.. Looking up, she saw Achilles smiling and his red eyes open. ''Akkie...'' She whispers and stares at their hands. Leaning up she kisses his cheek, softly like a feather. Tears were still rolling down her cheeks but no longer with sadness. More complete and utter happiness that the one she loved was still alive. His quiet voice met her ears and Luna still couldn't believe.

Wanting to punch him for even daring to leave her for a second but on the other hand, Luna wanted to look after him for the rest of their lives, love him forever and make sure this never happens again. ''Don't you dare leave me again...'' She tells him staring back down at their hands, tears still falling.

Achilles smiled. Then ripped the sugical tubing out. "I hate hospitals." He slid of the bed and stood he stumbled over to his clothes and vanished into the bathroom and reapeared later fully clothed. He limped over to Cam and Luna. "Milkshakes. On me. TO MEL'S!" He kissed Luna, then grinned at cam. "I am in a good humor and I need you to know. I am to stubborn to get back into the be, So, to Mel's. He dragged the pair in a limp towards the doors. "Look, I am mobing faster than you, you should be embarresed."

Luna watched as Achilles rips the tubes out. As he changes, she frowns at the prospect of going to mels. He changed and kisses her. Softly kissing back, she then growls like a wolf. ''Achilles Grimm...SIT YOUR BUTT DOWN THIS INSTANT. You just died, you're barely healed and you think you're okay to go to fucking Mel's!?'' She shouts and using cheetah speed, she reaches the door and leans against. ''You, sit down before i strap you to that goddamn bed. I will not take no for an answer so do as I say.'' Growling, Luna points to the bed before he can get any word in.

Luna was never one to be messed and her emotions were haywire anyway and her temper was flaring up within seconds. Putting her hands on her bare scarred hips, she waited for Achilles or even Cameron and the nurses to react to her. Her teeth were bared and sharp and her eyes were turning into snake eyes, green with a slit down the middle.

Achilles sighed. "HUNGRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY" he bounced back to the bed. "So...This is how it went down" he cracked his neck and smiled "Twas a sunny day and I was stood on a perch on an half constructed tower. Then Felix showed up and we waged battle steel collided and it rang out openly, sparks flew as we collided. Flames burned on my blade and all that I touched, and kinetic blasts collided with the structure around us. We battled and battled and battled, blood, sweat, torn metal everywhere. By the end our swords were blunt and broken, we started fighting, kinetic powered fists vs Flame charged fists, broken bones, collapsed walls, dented metal supports, our body's taking supreme amounts of damage. You know me, I am hard to kill. Soon we had been fighting for seven hours. Thats when Gavin arrived. He landed and Felix got distracted. I dived forward and tackled him pinning him to the ground, I picked up my blade and planted it through his chest. Killing the bastard. I went over to talk to him when I felt the distinct feeling of crossairs apon us, then I noticed the laser dot on Gavins head. I ran and shoved him, but I was too late, the 50 cal round screamed past gavins head. However. Straight through mine. I saw him catch me as I fell...The last thing I did was clutch the medallion round my neck, activating it. Gavin didn't see it ofcourse. Blind with rage he waged war with Dragon. I was dead so I don't know what happened. When I awoke. The building had fallen on me, then a memory hit me, I woke up before the fall. Hearing an explosion that ripped the ground from beneath me, I saw Gavin go up and bounce of huge metal support, he fell all the way down, as the large floor I was on tipped I rolled down and fell, however, Gavin missed what I hit, an metal strut impaled me then snapped sending me ofcourse from him and crushing me under 3 tonnes of cement, steel and marble. When I awoke. I forced my way out, limping from multiple injuries. I stumbled and then got to work. I found a burn of energy, the same one where I was, Gavin used a medallion and left. I found his footsteps then the sirens. I stumbled into the road and was helped as a I had a mini heart attack, then I was dragged to the medics, then Dragon impaled me and burned me alive on his blade, he vanished into the night. I was in a coma for a while."

A nurse came in and spoke to Achilles. "Your blood pressure is normal, you heart rates are fine, the instalment of auto shut of valves in the arteries and veins are working, the shrapnell we removed so now both hearts are in full working order, you may have one removed if you like, your brain activity shows your stable. Achilles, you're all set to go, you may need crutches, would you like some?"

Achilles shook his head. "Nope, I'm good." he turned to his love and best friend. "Now can I be fed milkshakes and food?"

Luna winked at Cameron chuckling lightly but her eyes were still that emerald green with the slit. Staring at Achilles as he explained the story. Walking over to Achilles, she sat on the bed beside and watched as the nurse checked him over. The nurse nodded as he said no and then spoke. ''Oh i know you're good...'' She said softly with a wink and a growl rumbled in Luna's chest. Rushing up, she stepped closer causing the nurse to scurry off before doing the 'Call me' sign to Achilles. Tense and angry, Luna turned back to Achilles. ''She can feed you.'' Not wanting to take her anger out on him, she couldn't help it. She was too angry and jealous and her animals were clawing at her skin begging to be released so they could attack anyone that got in the way. Storming out with a dramatic slam on the door, a clear sign to be left alone whilst she had one thing on her mind.

Get the nurse. Finding the nurse in a room with more coma patients, Luna grabbed her by the throat and held her high in the air. ''What did you do!?'' She growled and the nurse coughed and held her own throat in attempts to get Luna off of her. ''Simply....touched...him...whilst...he...was...down.'' Luna dropped her with a growl and stood on the nurse's ankle. ''Oh and by the noises he made...i could tell he loved it...'' Stomping on the nurses ankle, she knew it would cause a tonne of pain but no broken bones. Simply needs to rest for a long while. ''That'll be bruised for about the next two weeks. Tell anyone i did this and you'll find yourself in more pain.'' The nurse nodded frightened. ''If anyone sees you're limping, tell 'em you fell down the stairs causing you to get a bruised ankle.'' Nodding again, Luna left.

Achilles growled at the nurse and then watched Luna leave. He pushed himself up and ran down the corridor. Stupid move but he did it anyway. He skidded over to her and took her hands and kissed her. "Luna, please. Calm down." he rests his head on hers and stared into her eyes. "What was that about? I don't even know who that crazy bitch was. If you feel threaterned by her. You should remember something." He raised his arm and pointed to a tattoo of two intwinned roses and a moon in the back ground, above was written Luna, under My love. He kisses her cheek and smiles. "I am not going anywhere. Now please calm down my Love"

Luna felt Achilles' hands take hers and a growl escaped her throat which was stopped by his kiss. ''I will not calm down.'' She growls again. Yanking out of his arms, she looked up at him with anger obviously evident in her black eyes. ''She touched you whilst you were in a fucking coma. Said you moaned and shit. I was gone for ages and i have no idea what else she did or what anyone else did to you. So ya know what..fuck 'em for all i care if i'm just going to be a big ball of paranoia.'' Staring at the tattoo, she looked up at him and sighed. ''Just because you aren't...never know about a pissed animal girl.'' She said with tears in her eyes. Turning her back to him, she whispered 'Sorry' and put her hand on the door.

Achilles then realised what she said to Luna. "She did what? Okay. She dies." Achilles stormed back into the building dragging his fingers along the walls scorching them as he moved. He ripped a door clean of its hinges and continued his walk, leaving flames at his touch, as each foorfall made contact sparks, and flames were built. He kicked open ER wards door and the added alloys in his leg made the kick harder than he intended, the doors flew open and ripped chucks out of the walls. He then ripped open the metal door and saw the nurse he pointed at her "TOUCH ME AGAIN I WILL SPREAD YOUR BRAINS ACROSS THESE WALLS BITCH! LUNA IS THE LEAST OF YOUR NIGHTMARES!"

Luna turned to Cameron, the unsaid apology in her eyes. ''I was gone and he knew it. He would've known if i was there or not.'' She said with bluntness in her tone. ''The nurse will get what she deserves.'' Making a silent promise, she heard Achilles. Her body tensed as he stormed off. ''Now is my time to leave...I'm sorry. Goodbye..'' She whispers and kisses Cameron's cheek before looking around. Seeing no one, she shifted into a small bird and flew off before anyone could say anything. Hiding in one of the trees nearby, she kept an eye out.

Achilles turned to cameron. "Okay..." as he left he put his hand on the hydrogen tank in the wall. He gripped it and it set alight. As he and Cameron left the building an explosion ripped a hole in the wall of the room that bitch was in. "Burn in hell bitch" he muttered as he searched for Luna. He spotted a bird and he folded his arms and extended his arm. "Come here please." He smiled at Luna, and his eyes asked her to come to him. He beckoned her and held his arms out as if she were abouts to hug him. "Please" he pleaded.

Bird Luna made a small noise as the explosion occurred and then heard Achilles. He found her. Hiding deeper in the tree, he pleaded for her and her tiny heart clenched. Hopping down to the floor, Luna wanted nothing more than to turn and run into his arms but she was hurt. Looking at Cameron, she flew towards her and landed on Cameron's shoulder, hiding in her hair before cheeping softly like an apology. Hiding further into Cameron's hair, Luna's blue and gold eyes showed sadness.

Achilles looked at her and smiled. "Don't be sad. Its not your fault. I was dead. You saw me. Well. My body. I had hours. I was counting down the seconds. I was trapped inside the my mind, with a looming fact. I will die. I counted and counted. Soon I was in the 30's...then 4...3...3...2...1...then something happened. The little corner I was trapped in shook, rocked, tumbled and exploaded...What did it I did not know. Then I heard something. At first...A whisper. Then it got louder. It was you. I died just as you spoke. My body died and rebirthed...You saved me my Love...I no not what she did...I was dead inside...I know your angry...Please. Come here."

Luna listened carefully and flew down from Cameron's shoulder. Shakily shifting back as tears were rolling down her cheeks. She glared back at the building and slowly and steadily walked over to Achilles. Feathers were still in her hair but she didn't care. She felt bad. Horrible but angry still. Wrapping her tense arms around his waist, Luna buried her face in his chest breathing him in. She didn't have the heart to speak in case she says something she doesn't mean.

Achilles cuddled her and kissed her. He rested his head on hers "I would never betray you. I love you to much. I am sorry...I love you Luna" he cuddles her more and lookes at her eyes. He stares into them and smiles "I love your eyes" he smiled and kissed her again. "I say. Milkshakes. Park. Home. What do you think?"

Luna gulped and looked up at him, wanting to speak. Kissing him instead, she gave him a very small smile. ''Things can happen...'' She whispers softly and then sighs. ''How 'bout milkshakes on me for all three of us and then come to my place for some snacks and just talk? I got a new skylight installed for quick shifts and the view is amazing..'' Luna offered looking at Cameron and Achilles with a hopeful glint in her eyes.

"I am paying. No arguements. I am the gentleman here, sometimes. I am going to pay." he chuckled and grinned. "Girls. You two flying is cheating. I am limping. I ache, can't we stroll? Stoll sounds good." he then noticed his limp had stopped. "Okay...I was limping...Thats strange." he pulled his trouser leg up to reveal a fully healed limb. "I swear my leg had holes in it...Girls. It had holes right?!" he opened his jacket and unbuttoned his shirt. "Will someone explain how these holes have vanished?!" he smiled. "Well, okay then...I guess I have some form of healing ability now...Seems all that damage did me good"
