Current plot
Many years ago Xavier's school for gifted mutants was attacked. It was left in ruin. Teachers and students abandoned it with no hope of returning to it for sanctuary...

Years later a professor named Jason Andrews returned life to the school's halls and rebuilt its walls. Students have once again come to learn at the school in safety.

Many other mutants aren't quite so lucky. Some still remain hidden in the shadows and some within factions like the brotherhood are left leaderless.

Luka sat down in his office chair in his classroom and sighed. It was his first day on the job and it didn't help that he had a headache. Lula flicked his wrists and the desks all slid back a little from his main desk. He had took out some papers out of the printer and had laid two onto everyones desk. He hoped everyone would like this class. Especially telepaths and telekinetics like he was.

Fallon held her books close to her chest as her hood covered half of her face. People shoved her into the walls and tried to make her drop of things but her grip was tight and was shown by her white knuckles. Rushing into her Inner mind class, Fallon bowed her head at Luka. ''H-Hello P-professor.'' She stammered, her nerves getting the best of her and she then stood taller. ''How are you today, sir?'' She asks, removing her hood and letting her hair cascade down her back. She wondered what she was learn in this class and if it would help her pathokinesis.

The loud and obnoxious squawking of the alarm was plenty of a reason to get Silus up this morning, though it's not exactly like he had much sleep. The With the first sound, Silus groaned, with the second his eyes opened, with the third he took a breath, and with a fourth, Silus threw his fist into it and knocked it off the stand. He did this, as he did every morning, knowing that upon impact with the floor the batteries would fall out and end his auditory torment. With that annoying noise silenced, Silus was able to post himself up with his elbows, run a hand over his eyes and move the covers off of himself. Today was bound to be rough for him. Especially when he needed to get up to take "Development of the Inner Mind".
The class alone sounded too easy to make fun of, honestly he felt like he was calling himself retarded when he told people he was taking that. Sure the syllabus made it pretty clear that it was a great challenge, but he still couldn't shake the way the class name rolled off his tongue. He quickly got into the shower, trying to quickly clean himself so he wouldn't be late for class. He turned off the water, shook the water off of himself like a dog, grabbing his towel and getting dressed. He finally finished getting dressed for the day ahead of him. He picked his usual sort of look, keeping the goggles around his neck, and the glove fitted over his left hand. As he made his way towards to "Develop his inner mind", he placed his ear buds in and listened to some of his favorite music. The sound of Disturbed was almost drowned out when he noticed another student with a hood covering them rushing towards the same direction. A few kids started to slap at her books, or knock into the student, something Silus wasn't exactly happy about, and from his glare it was pretty clear when they passed him. One thing he loved about his look, people didn't tend to question his "violent" side too much. He looked like a tough guy, he acted like a tough guy, so everyone seemed to think he was tough.
He turned the corner and almost ran into the back of the student he had seen earlier, he held up both hands his eyes widening as his shoes made a squeak, trying to stop himself  while also resisting the urge to outstretch his hands. He let out a little sigh as he walked around her to try and find his seat. Once there he set down his bag and sighed. He didn't want to be here, but this was the only class that was able to help him with his slight "problem", the one involving his head. If the guidance counselor hadn't been so certain that Silus needed this class...it would have been the first one dropped. He took the ear buds out and walked up towards the professor's desk, hands in his pocket and a nod.
"Hi." He said, looking over to the other student. With her hood down, her hair everywhere and her face in plain sight, she was obviously a girl, and that sent a twang through Silus, if he had known that he would have done more to those guys than simply "looked the part". Though it was probably for the better...the last thing he needed was an incident on his first day of the year. He looked back to the professor with a half hearted smile.

Fallon felt someone knock into her causing her to drop her books. Falling to her knees, tears sprung into her eyes and she quickly brushed them away before anyone noticed. Hearing the footsteps walk away, she stood up with her books in hand awkwardly and rushed to the very back of the class with her head down. Men...always the same. She thought to herself with a small sniff. Fallon grabbed the table to edge herself down and caused that part to freeze. She yelped slightly and pressed her hands to her chest with a growl of frustration. Hearing someone say hey, her molten gold eyes snapped up to stare at the one who knocked into her. Shuffling in her chair, she stared at the boy's nose to avoid eye contact. ''H-Hello...I'm F-Fallon...'' She introduced herself, running a hand through her hair shakily. Turning back to her notebooks quickly, Fallon began doodling.

He made his way to the back of the room, as FAAAAR away from the professor as possible. Not that they guy was bad to look at or anything, but simply because Silus and this class were having issues before he even met the Prof. That and the first day of ANYTHING new is a chore in it's own right. HE actually found his way to the back. Instead of being a creeper and choosing to sit RIGHT NEXT tot he girl he ran into, he allowed a space between them. He did however look at her and smile partially as he noticed her doodling in her notebook. Silus took his seat and leaned back. There wasn't really anyone here to take notice. If he'd apologize no one would really even know and his "though guy" rep was going to be generally unscathed. Though the professor might take notice, but no one really listens to them anyway...do they?

"Hey uh...Fallon. Sorry about that. I should have been paying more attention. I'm Silus by the way." He said with an apologetic smile. Now he just had to sit and wait for other kids to show up.

Fallon began becoming tense as the boy went closer and closer to the back. Her paranoid mind began making her think he's going to do something bad to her. Seeing the space between them, she tucked some hair behind her ear and sat up straighter when he kept looking at her. Hesitantly smiling back and nodded her head at his apology. ''I-It's okay...I should be used to it by now. I'm kind of invisible to people...Nice to meet you Silus.'' Fallon said in a gentle but quiet voice. Closing her notebook that was filled with drawings, she slouched in the chair and placed one leg over the other, slowing running her fingers on the table causing a small ice trail. ''May i ask why you weren't paying attention?'' Fallon asked, curious.

Luka watched as people poured in and he closed the door as the last student came in.

"Good Morning Class!" Luka said in a friendly voice. "I am Professor Giotelli. May I ask you all to come closer?"

No one responded.

"Well, You asked." Luka said while lifting his hands up. The class shrieked as their chairs screeched upwards towards the desk. "Now thats better. Now for todays lesson, we will be learning about the brain. Humans, only access 20% of their brain. Mutants? 30% or more. This advancement in our usage of the brain is a factor in using our abilities. My ability allows me to access 50%. ". Luka lifted himself up and the class oohed an ahhed. "Some of you have Telekinetic abilities. While they might not be skilled enough to carry your own body weight, you can still use it to a certain extent." Luka took out a pointer and pointed at the board which had a diagram of a brain on it. "The part of the brain that contains hidden potential is right here.[/color]"

"It's the first day of school and I'm not ready for break to be over, ya' know?" He asked Fallon. The classroom filled with a few others, but the seat between him and Fallon was still empty. That was slightly relieving. He already met her after all. The Professor greeted the class, and Silus looked up at the desk, seeing the young professor speak. The odd request of everyone moving forward was slightly confusing for Silus. How were they supposed to move up when the seats were all so close- Woah! That's how. The Professor had telekinesis, or so it seems. Silus being moved so suddenly triggered his eyes to flash a deep emerald green before dulling back into their normal color. He simply rubbed his eyes, keeping them as best a secret as he could before returning his attentions to the lesson, his pen jotting out a few notes involving the percentages, and the area where the mental potential was stored.

William looked down at the ground, as he made his way across the hallways. He didn't want to attracted any unwanted attention from older kids, to staff. He just wanted to be left alone, but classes forced him to get out of his room and participate. If it wasn't for the dumb classes, he would have never appeared outside of his door. Living in shadows.

Quickly, shuffling his feet, he made his way to the classroom. There was nothing odd about it. However, there weren't many kids. It looked as if the class has already begun. William inhaled deeply and then, pull open the door fast, walking fast, not looking at anyone. He aimed for the desk at the last row.

After exiting the Guidance Counselor's office, Briana headed for the class recommended for her due to her mutations. She felt horrible that she would be late to yet another class. But, the counselor gave her a note to give to the professor explaining why she was tardy. Briana had arrived to the school late, and this was the soonest she could be seen to go over classes and classes that were recommended for her. Finding the right room, Briana made sure her grey eye was covered with her blonde hair and entered the room. Not looking up at the other in the class, she noticed that another girl was late, just like she was. Briana didn't want to interrupt the class further, so she placed her note from the counselor on the professor's desk and found the first empty seat she could find.

Slipping her hand into her jean's pocket, she took out a coin and simply held onto it as she set her backpack on the floor and took out her supplies. She hoped she hadn't missed much and hoped that the professor would accept her note without being too cross...

Luka was about to speak again when a whole lot of students came on in. Little by little people piled up notes of excuse. "Well hello students. I knew you would all come in late. Well no I didn't haha. Anyways. Look on your paper and you'll see everything you missed." Luka didn't really send out a tardiness paper. He just left out blank pieces of paper. He telepathically sent a signal to all tardy students's papers and everything that they went over today was written in fine cursive handwriting. While most people remained normal, some looked out in confusion as their papers didn't have writing on it.

Briana looked up as the professor spoke about how their being tardy was of no concern to him and that the paper before them would detail everything they had covered thus far. Looking down, a small smile touched her lips as she watched notes from the start of the lecture appeared in flowing script across the once blank page. Just as she finished reading over what she missed being late, she felt the cool chill of her power starting to gear up. No.... Not now.... Please not now... Briana, put a gently fisted hand to her temple, and began to roll the coin from knuckle to knuckle, back and forth, back and forth across the top of her fingers, trying to derail what was to come and keep her calm and collected....

Natasha watched the paper. She had seen the same power long ago..... back when she was with the original Xmen. A memory of back then tried to push through but she squeezed her eyes shut. She was trying to push the painful reminders out of her mind. She gripped the table gently. Her hands glowed softly pink along with the table before it shot forward. Her cheeks turned bright from embarrassment. " Natasha is sorry. Very sorry."

She quickly got up and tried to put the table back, careful not to make eyecontact with anyone.

Luka sighed and drank from a glass of water on his desk. "Is there a problem?" He asked to the girl who's desk glowed bright pink. Before she could answer, Luka's phone fell out and started to ring. He casually picked it up and the children began talking. He closed his hands like a hand puppet and everyones mouth shut up. "Hello?" Luka asked. He began talking under his breath. "Ok..." He said softly before tapping on the phones screen a few times. "Well I guess thats all we have for today." Luka let go of his hands and everyone in the class let out a deep breath. "Next class we'll be discovering Lucid Dreams. Take care!" Luka smiled and pointed to the door and it opened.

Looking up with a start at the sound of a desk being violently moved across the room, the coin stopped it's movement in mid-roll. When Luka's phone ran, she was surprised that he would take a call now, in the middle of class, but then again, this wasn't like the schools she had been in before. A small smile brushed her lips when all the mouths of those around her were suddenly clamped shut to allow him to hear the phone call that interrupted the class. Letting their mouths go, a collected exhale filled the room around her followed by the scuffling of people packing their things up when Luka dismissed them all. Just as the door opened, students started to file out quickly.

Briana took her time packing her things up. Next class we'll be discovering Lucid Dreams.... Luka's words worried her. Dreams in general weren't things she liked to talk about, but maybe the next lesson will prove beneficial for her. Getting up from her seat, she heard a small tink sound as she watched the coin fall to the ground and roll towards the professor. Holding up her hand, she used her power to stop the coin and levitate it up into the air as she walked towards it. When she reached it, she reached up and grabbed it, slipping it into her pocket. "See you next class, Professor..." she said shyly before turning to make her way out the door.

Silus really hadn't been paying too much attention to the class, he honestly just wanted out of here. He felt too...uncomfortable here. There was no real reason for someone like him to be in it. The guidance councilor said that people here might be able to help him control his power...and maybe eventually help him reclaim his memory. But... the teacher was a little off the deep end it seems. That or he just loves to show off what he's got. Silus groaned when he said they'd be covering lucid dreams. He looked up the concept a LONG time ago to try and remember and alter his nightly nightmare... no luck.

Actually...learning about how to do this correctly and first hand might not be so bad...maybe he groaned a little too soon. This class may be a little more interesting than he thought. He stood up and walked out the door, not interacting with anyone, if he possibly could avoid it.

Fallon frowned at the short class and grabbed one of the pages of notes. It would help here seeing as she didn't pay much attention to the class. Pushing her things into her bag, she pulled up her hood and began walking. ''S-See you in the next class, Professor.'' She said quietly. Her ears were still ringing for the annoying shriek of the tables moving closer to the front. Giving a short wave and a small smile, she practically ran out the class to her room. A beat was in her head and she couldn't wait to get started. Although the mention of Lucid Dreams had sprung curiosity, she took no notice.
