Many years ago Xavier's school for gifted mutants was attacked. It was left in ruin. Teachers and students abandoned it with no hope of returning to it for sanctuary...

Years later a professor named Jason Andrews returned life to the school's halls and rebuilt its walls. Students have once again come to learn at the school in safety.

Many other mutants aren't quite so lucky. Some still remain hidden in the shadows and some within factions like the brotherhood are left leaderless.

Silus had finally had enough of it. He had talked with Briana earlier about having volunteered at the hospital not that many years ago, and he felt like there was something that he could remember...that he SHOULD remember...but he couldn't. He had electively walked into the guidance councilor's office and basically told them he was going to the hospital, which was true. The lie? He told them he was looking to re-volunteer himself.

He made the long trek towards Sinai medical center, where he spent some of his earlier life. He stood there at the entrance, same old personal dress code with the goggles around his neck and the calming rememberance learning about the history of this place. He even remembered getting a free tour for being a "young doctor in the making" as the one nurse called him. He remembered being really happy, smiling and getting all giddy inside. It made him wonder what his parents would think of him....which in turn made him wonder if he had any parents. He took his steps into one of the Untied States' oldest medical facilities, and he got the same blissful joy he always got. Just stepping through the doors reminded him of the time he first walked through them. Back then he was ready and willing to help people. Back then he didn't have to worry about sucking out their souls basically either though. He sighed and walked up towards the main reception desk, a piece of anti-bacterial plexi-glass with a metal speaker port separating him from the nurse who worked there. Silus cleared his throat, and the rather chubby dark skinned woman looked up with a viper-like glare, her brown eyes warning the boy that she would "Eat him alive". He eye's didn't really say that though, she told him that the first time she met him. She was joking of course, but it was still odd to see her again. Her eyes shot open and she squealed happily, which caused Silus to roll his eyes and give a wide smile as the woman ran out through the door to hug him. Her screams of joy caused patients from all angles and of all conditions to look at them as they sat in the waiting room.

"Hey Adelane" Silus said hugging the large woman back. A few of the other nurses took notice of Silus and walked over politely shaking his hand, once he escape the grasp of the almighty African woman. Silus managed to shake some hands, but then Adelane lifted him and shook him. His eyes widened as he was throttled around and then set back down.

"Mhm-hmm-hmm- you've grown up so much child!" She said as she looked down at him, placing her hands on his shoulders and straightening him out as he looked around him. "Our little helper is all grown up! But you shouldn't be out of school yet, should you? Weren't you born on the twenty fourth of December?" The woman asked him, glaring at him almost like she were accusing him of something. Silus knew Adelane well enough to know that she was just making sure she got a direct answer, and she would scare him if she had to.

"Yeah, I'm still in school. How's Mr.Freeman?" Silus asked, remembering the rough-gruff hard working calloused-handed man well. The man was always telling Silus stories about the war and about how he worked in the mills for decades but always had a new story. Though his heart sank when he saw Adelane tear up a little and smile.

"Not hurtin' no more child." She said as kindly as possible, her pearly white teeth almost shining like the tears that threatened to fall down her cheeks. "Speaking of not hurtin', what are you doing here child? You're not hurt which must mean...you're here to volunteer again ain'tcha?" and Adelane got all excited as she had an extra spring in her step she ran back behind the glass, pulled out a sheet of paper and came back around with a pen. Silus' heart sank even further, and at this rate his stomach was basically saying "Well hello neighbor" in the creepy pedophile voice. He knew Adelane missed him, even though he was a mutants. Then again she was the only one who knew that, but she was still a kind enough woman who seemed to really enjoy Silus' company. She grabbed Silus' wrist and began to drag him back down the hallway. A doctor yelled for her.

"Adelane! Adelane! We need someone at the reception desk! The doctor called.

"I'm on my lunch!" She roared back, her voice vibrating with power as she kept dragging Silus away.

He was in pain and a lot of it. There was some exploding from his skull and more from his leg, where something was definitely not okay. Something had hit him, and neck thing he knew was he lay on the ground, blood falling down his forehead in rivulets and a young sounding man was freaking out as he frantically pacing. He was in pain, too much for the finer details, and yes he was crying…a lot. Rolling onto his side, the mutant managed to mutter out one thing before falling unconscious. ”What the hell is that car made of?” It was then that the darkness overtook him, causing Brandon to fall into a sleep as he was dragged form the ground and rushed to the nearest medical center, though what the damage was he did not know.

His body was durable, so maybe nothing major, though the head injury could have proved disastrous, or he was overreacting. Brandon had a low tolerance for pain, which made everything seem worse than it actually was, and why he perhaps collapsed. Next thing he knew he was laying on leather, legs in pain and body aching slightly, as brown eyes fluttered open. The one who probably hit him was now rushing him to the emergency room, instead of simply calling dfrwaking 911. He would have smiled, but that hurt too much, lips curling into a slightly upturned line before curling back down. Well it was that, and he was nervous, considering that he promised he would not get himself hurt here, and now he was being rushed to the emergency room.

He was possibly okay, save for his head, and Brandon would have moved that around if he wasn’t so pathetically soft. Another dip within unconsciousness came and he was just entering the hospital, the guy supporting the male as he limped towards the reception, a small amount of blood finding itself in his eyes. It was then that he noticed that guy he thought he knew was there, Silus or whatever. ”Yo Corgi spawn, sup?’ and then he fell face forward.

Briana was in the library at The Institute doing some light reading, which she enjoyed. Lucky for her, the library at her new home was massive and filled with all kinds of books that would easily keep her busy for quite some time. As she read, suddenly, with no warning at all, Briana froze as a vison took her. In her mind's eye she heard squealing tires, felt searing pain and something wet running down her face. Then the vision shifted. There was a building one that looked familiar to her, but she couldn't place it right off and the feeling of....happiness. The last thing she saw before the vision stopped was a set of goggles. Her precognition turning off, Briana quickly took out a black leather notebook and wrote down what she saw, felt, and heard as Silus had offered for her to do that night they kept each other company most of the night chatting. Reading over what she wrote, Briana recalled that she knew that building afterall: Mt. Sinai Medical Center, and the goggles.... Those were Silus'.... Oh no...No.... Closing her book, Briana made a speedy exit from the library and stopped by her room to drop off her things and grab she jean-jacket and black and white scarf. As she put them on, she headed out of the school.

In as little time as she could, Briana made her way to the hospital. As she walked, she kept looking over the notes she made in her notebook. Some of the pieces were pretty clear, but others just weren't. Tucking the notebook under her arm, Briana entered and scanned the lobby. Her grey-green eyes fell on her friend, Silus, and seeing him just fine, she sighed happily. Waving, she walked over to him, and then spotted the same boy she didn't know from Literature class. She knew his name was Brandon, but that was about it. Taking a good look at him, the pieces of the vision began to fall into place. Well, the first part anyways...

"I'm so glad you're alright," Briana said, looking back to Silus and managing a small smile. Then to Brandon, "Bradon, right? What happened?" Based on her vision, she figured it was an accident of some kind, but she didn't know if he was driving or not or really what had happened other than the parts she got from her vision.

Silus was taken into the Emergency Room lobby and sat him down at a table, granting him the satisfaction of sitting down. He sat down and took the pen put in front of him, while Adelane glared at him suspiciously. He looked up to her wide-eyed and quizzical. Did he do something wrong?

"Whad-I-do?" He asked her cautiously. Her eyebrow arched and he pointed to his jacket and his gloves.

"What's with the get-up you got goin' there? The Silus I knew never dressed like that." Adelane said that sassy tone in her voice. Silus smiled and shook his head. The Silus she knew never did that because the Silus she knew wasn't the troublemaker as school. Silus had changed quite a bit.

"That's because he wasn't the same Silus." He said, the dark skinned woman gave him the warning look again. After all these years, Silus knew when Adelane meant to shut your mouth. With a light smile he quickly looked down, filled out the stupid forum and was officially voluntary assistance for the Sinai medical center... again. He stood up and handed the sheet to Adelane, who clamped it with her index finger and thumb, swiftly taking it from his hands with a sense of satisfaction.

"That's what I'm talkin' about. Now you go and--oh lawrd!" She exclaimed as she saw Brandon Hale walking through the automatic doors. "Child you look like you been hit by the crazy train...and Ozzy been on the stick again." She said. The boy greeted Silus as "Corgi spawn" Briana also entered the picture causing Silus to smile and cock his head to the side like a confused puppy. What are the odds that she was going to show up here?

"Uhm...I-Iuh-I-I-I...what!?" He asked, trying to converse with all three of the people around him. Brandon suddenly fell forward, aimed straight for the ground when Silus caught him and set him down a little more gently than he would have fallen. Adelane handed Silus her stethoscope and her blood-pressure cuff. "A-are you serious, I just handed you the paper!"

"And I'm on my Lunch break. Now you can take this boy's blood pressure or you can whine about it. Either way, Ma'ma is goin' for a sandwich." She said and with a turn she walked off towards the E.R. staff kitchen. Silus placed the cuff around Brandon's arm and poked him.

"wake up." he snapped as he placed the stethoscope on the pulse and began squeezing the inflation bulb. He listened intently for the thuds and sighed when he saw that his blood pressure was 120 Systolic over 82 Diastolic. The kid had a perfect blood pressure. Silus then snapped his fingers and fought to get Brandon's attention and see his eye movement. "Dude...what the hell happened?"

Arms caught him, and then placed the blonde down gentler than before. While one would tell him not to sleep, Brandon felt kinda tired and so he felt like falling asleep, in the middle of an emergency room. Well, he would have if Silus did not poke him and draw the male from his sleep, placing something around his arm. Rolling over slightly he looked up to Silus, raising an eyebrow as if trying to look through a veil. ”Well hello…either you’re suddenly a beautiful angel or my brain is messed up.” He said blinking slightly, one end of his lip curling into a confused line. In his defense there was a blurring of the area around the males face, and everything seemed kinda celestial in a way. Brianna seemed to be hovering in the back ground somewhat, and Brandon felt rude not really paying attention.

”What did happen? All I knew is there was screeching and then a lot of pain. My leg hurts…and I totally didn’t cry.” The lie would have been believable if his eyes were not bloodshot and puffy, from crying no less. ”I think I was hit by a truck…or a car…or a minivan, something like that. I best it was the werewolves, they have it out for me.” He said drowsily, head aching for a moment before the feeling subsided and he felt a little better once again. ”Oh god I feel like I’m going to puke.”

Briana watched as Brandon collapsed which made her instinctively reach out to catch him, but, thankfully, Silus was already on it. As he set him down, Briana knelt beside them and watched as Silus acted with what appeared to be second nature taking Brandon't blood pressure and checking for vitals. When Brandon told her what he figured happened, her jaw went slightly slack. Brandon was the one who was hurt in the vision. But, then what was the rest? Hearing the blonde's remark of feeling sick, Briana stood and looked into the nurse's station near where they were. Finding what she was looking for, she glanced around to be sure no one was looking. When she saw no one was, Briana held up her hand and focused on one of the blue basins commonly used in times like this. Quickly, she moved it to her and grabbed it. "Here," she said offering it to Brandon with a small smile before crouching down as she was before.

"Is he going to be alright?" she asked looking at Silus.

”Well hello…either you’re suddenly a beautiful angel or my brain is messed up.” Silus' face turned red and he growled as he ripped the blood-pressure cuff off of Brandon's arm.

"Yes." He said, intentionally affirming that both of the suggested possibilities had in act come to fruition. Silus was in face a bit of an "angel" by helping him at the moment, and the kid's mind obviously wasn't on par to be hitting on Silus. Silus listened to the kid tell his story as he looked down at the leg for a moment. There wasn't any visible trauma to it, and there was no puncture, so the bone must still have been in tact for the MOST part. Silus lifted the leg slightly. "Scale of one to ten, how much pain? Where is it coming from?" He asked as he put a little pressure on the slightly swollen area.

"-…and I totally didn’t cry.” Brandon said. Silus looked at him with a little bit of a knowing smirk and nodding his head, as if he were agreeing with the kid. Silus turned his head and coughed into his shoulder. *cough* "Bullshit" *cough* he said directly to Briana with a bit of a smile. The kid got hit by a damn car, how does one NOT cry? The human response to pain is partially to cry. Silus cleared his throat and returned to looking at the injury.

"Keep awake. Tell me about these werewolf-Oh not on me you're not." Silus snapped. Briana offered up a blue waste bin for Brandon, while Silus pulled on him to sit up. "We can't let him aspirating vomit or he's as good as hospitalized with Pneumonia." Silus said under his breath as he left Brandon in a way that was able to vomit in peace. Before he knew it there was another nurse who came and helped them get Brandon to a room

"Is he going to be alright?" Briana asked. Silus looked at her and arched an eyebrow and nodded slowly at her almost like he was questioning her concern. In all reality he had forgotten that she was perhaps not used to the hospital scene. Silus looked up as Adelane walked into the room and cleared his throat.

"Oh hush. It was pastrami." She said with a sly smirk. If anyone knew how to banter with Silus...Adelane was the one. After all, she's the one who taught him how to banter.

"Just get him a C-T scan for an aneurysm and a normal MRI or something." Silus snapped at her playfully as he glared at her. She held up her hands and picked up the clipboard attached to Brandon's bed.

”Like a…5 I think, maybe a low 6 or something.” A sharp pang ran through his thigh as The Hale’s vision slowly began to readjust himself and he found the strange pressure already removed from his forearm. ”My le….ugh.” Damn that headache sure did hurt. ”Wait..not on you I’m what?’ he raised an eyebrow, more than confused. Brianna brought something to him, a bucker for his potential vomiting, and luckily the girl had retrieved the bucket, as he emptied the contents of his stomach into it without missing a beat. Oh god, do people usually vomit when they get hit by a car? For a literal tough guy, he was reacting far from it. ”That did not taste good at all.” Brandon muttered whining lightly That was when Silus said something about an aneurysm, and that for some reason worried Brandon more than anything. ”An anurwhat?” Brandon found himself asking, as he found himself being wheeled away.

Briana turned away as Brandon threw up in the basin she had retrieved. Luckily she had gotten it to him in the nick of time. Swallowing hard, herself, she looked back as the blonde whimpered slightly. She could sympathize. Getting sick wasn't something she enjoyed either. Really, no one did... As he was wheeled away to finished getting checked on, Briana turned her attention to Silus. "You really know your stuff. You learned all that from volunteering?" she asked slightly in awe of her friend and his knowledge of medicine.

Briana unbuttoned her jacket as she as getting warm, revealing a light green v-neck tee that complemented her dark wash jeans and black converse-type sneakers, and thought a little about the rest of the pieces of her vision that didn't seem to make sense. "Silus, did you just happen to be here by chance or...." Briana began to ask, not really sure how to ask what she wanted to see if he might hold the answer to the puzzle of her vision.

Busted! Silus sat down on a chair as he waited for Adelane to return with the reports. His left elbow on his thigh and his arm up, letting him to lean over slightly and bite his thumb out of nervous habit. Briana being a really smart girl was sort of irritating, nothing got past her. Silus' eyes rolled up and he looked at the Multi-colored eyes and he hummed slightly. He laughed as he decided that the jig was up...again. What was with this girl? She was inadvertently getting all his secrets. Probably just as much his fault for not exactly fighting to keep them though...

"I-uh...I wanted to be a doctor when I was younger. A couple of the nurses around here had me tag along to learn stuff. I can take blood-pressure, do a complete doctor's assessment of a patient, identify Signs and Symptoms of a lot of diseases. I specifically wanted to be a specialized interactive Immunologist...." Silus said, his voice trailing off. All good dreams have to die. Part of growing up he assumed. Either way he found himself worrying about Brandon's health, what if that dolt actually had an aneurysm? A dang clot-buster would work, but there's a ton of risks involved. There was a knock on the door. It opened and the familiar large sassy African woman walked in and tossed the clipboard at Silus. Silus' hands flew up and caught the board, shocked that it had been tossed at him.

He could only imagine the C-T operator trying to get Brandon to hold still....he could practically hear Brandon screaming about how the doctors were working for the werewolves. Then again maybe Brandon wasn't really that crazy...he could be a nice and normal guy other than that. Though his word choices weren't always the greatest it would seem. Case in point earlier.

"mmmhm baby doll, that ain't no aneurysm. He's just flat out dumb as a doornail." She said with a look at him with a shake of her head and a drawn out lip off to the side. Silus looked at the report and himmed and haaed for a minute. Brandon was wheeled back in after the tests and Silus shrugged.

"Minor concussion and a spiral fracture on the femur. They gonna cast him?" Silus asked. Adelane put a hand on her hip and looked down at him with that "what do you think?" look. Silus rolled his eyes and sighed. Of course they were going to cast him, that and crutches most likely. "Uhm...Adelane...what medicine are they giving him for the inflammation?" Silus asked. Adelane looked at him with an arched eyebrow.

"Baby doll I taught you everythin' you know. A little trust child?" She asked. Silus smiled forcefully and almost apologetically as he nodded. She smiled and then walked over to the IV pole as she began to hang up a drip-bag of calcium gluconate. Silus had only seen that used in patients with potential heart problems...unless they were hoping to stimulate bone recovery with the new calcium. Adelane took the IV needle and wrapped a rubber band across his arm, getting a good look at the vein. She went to insert it and the needle promptly bent upon contact with the skin. "Oh no. You one of them iron-skinned boys. I'm not bothering with this one, your bones will be fine without it mhm!" she ranted a little, between Brandon's touch skin and such it was clear she didn't want to waste time. She discarded her gloves and took the clip board off Silus, before leaving saying she was going after some document or other.

"So...feel any better?" Silus asked

Brandon found himself being wheeled off, looking back to Silus and Briana much like a lost puppy being wheeled away to be put down. Granted putting him down would require a needle able to pierce his skin, but that is not the point at the moment. Perhaps it was because he mostly saw those two as his only friends around here at the moment, but whatever the case was, he did not look forward to going into the wherever alone, with the scrub people. While he would have normally not freaked out much, Brandon’s mind was addled and for some reason the idea of werewolves was stuck within it. He started the overreacting when he was placed into the c-t scanner machine thing, the mere idea of being in a confined space perhaps sending him into a frenzy.

The Hale began to squirm, whining lowly every time his leg hurt. In fact he had to be held down, and it took quite a few people to do so, though why not more he did not known. After a few minutes, and decent amount of drugs, Brandon was made more docile and receptive to whatever tests they had in mind. In the end they found he had a minor concussion and some kind of fracture that hurt like hell. Next thing he knew, he was having the rather sassy looking African American woman trying to put a needle into his arm, Brandon squirmed a little but relaxed when the needle bent against his skin. So with that done, he found himself looking at Silus with Briana hovering behind him likely.

”Yeah…I’m fine, a little doped up I think but…oh they put me in a tube and I started rotating, though I was gonna get turned into a werewolf or even worst, a wereshark. Thought I would have to punch myself in water, and I punch slow in water.” He began to ramble.

Briana took the seat next to Silus, taking her notebook in her hands and placing it on her lap, as he explained how he had learned his skills that allowed him to do more than the basic pulse check on Brandon. It was amazing that he had learned all those things and could use them like they were nothing! "You'd make a great doctor, I think. That's a good dream to have. But why wanted? Do you not still want to?" she asked as the African nurse came back in and tossed a clipboard to him.

Hearing the diagnosis for blondie, Briana looked at Silus and then at the nurse. The conversation that ensued between them was one that made her smile lightly. As Brandon was wheeled back in after his check-over was completed, she watched as the nurse attempted to begin an IV in his arm. Her eyes narrowed and then widened when the needle bent and the nurse gave up right off. Did she know about mutants like them? When she left and Silus asked him how he was feeling, Briana chuckled at his answer. "What is it with you and were.....well, were-everything?" she asked with a laugh.

In the back of her mind, Briana was still trying to put this vision together, but put the pieces to the side for now. In time, if she was meant to piece them together, they would simply fall into place. Just like they always seemed to...

"...I gave up on that a while ago....and I'm here because I'm looking for memories...somehow Adelane roped me into volunteering again...coming back was a huge mistake." Silus said directly to Briana, quiet enough so Brandon HOPEFULLY wouldn't hear, then again this guy seemed to have super everything as it was. Except super-intelligence. He turned his attentions back to Brandon and listened to his deep seeded concerns about the were-being population. Silus just smiled at Bandon, and nodding as if he understood the concern. The last part of his little rant...

"-a werewolf or even worst, a wereshark. Thought I would have to punch myself in water, and I punch slow in water.” When he got to the punching slow part his tone shifted and Silus' grin grew wider, he placed his hand over his face and cleared his throat, though it was really a rather good guise to not let the laughter roaring in his mind slip out.

It-It's like talking to a five year old!He thought, laughing in his mind, but trying to not let it show. The guy was seriously either hyper-sensitive to concussions or he was really just as Adelane said...dumb as a doornail. Silus ran his hand through his hair and he sighed, finally calming himself. This guy hating Were-folk so much inspired Silus to don upon him his own little title. Just like you have little Red riding-hood or Little boy blue....he had Blondie the Were-racist.

"You uh...ya'know Brandon. I've volunteered at this place for a long time. I gotta tell you that I have never once seen a werewolf in here...or a machine that turns you into them. But you know...after what happened in Lit the other day...I think Professor V is a werewolf. The way he asked if there were any werewolves in class was kinda...suspicious don'tcha think?" Silus asked, looking to Briana wanting to see her expression when she heard him try to sic the blonde boy on their literature professor. "Isn't that right Bri?" He asked with a wry smirk. Suddenly he had the image of Brandon lunging across the class roop to deck the professor in the face. For some reason his mind immediately clicked on and all he could her was "FALCON PUNCH!" With his amused smile he looked back to the were-racist with a chuckle.

Brandon was indeed in his own little world at the moment, eyes fluttering closed and then back open again. What really caught his attention was when Silus said something about never really seeing a werewolf here, or even a machine that could possibly turn a person into one. The blond raised an eyebrow as if Silus had said that the sky was purple and skittles would occasionally rain down, not that he didn’t mind the latter, but a purple sky was just weird. What however caught his attention like a hand clamped around the family jewels was the male mentioning that his current favorite teacher was possibly a werewolf, something that dismayed the male some. However his logic was sound, so that meant he would have to at least consider it. ”No waaaay…really?” He said absolutely confused, mind then shifting just as quickly. ”Am I gonna get a cast? I mean that would be so cool, people can sign it and stuff, then I can get crotches….er crutches…whack people with them.” he said with the usual grin that only dipped with the slight mistake.

Coming back here was a huge mistake... Briana looked at Silus, surprised at his comment about coming back. "But, if you have some memories here, then why not come back when you hunt for them? Perhaps volunteering can help you find some. I don't think it was...." she said looking to Brandon as he spoke of if he had been turned into a wereshark. Wereshark? She couldn't help but giggle lightly when Silus told him that in all the time he was at the hospital, he hadn't come across any were-things or any machine that would turn someone into any such thing. When Silus brought up Professor Vitale as a potential werewolf, and then asked her what she thought, Briana looked back at him with a face of 'really?' as she grinned. "It certainly gives rise to come questions, like why he wanted to point out any that had that mutation over any others. But that doesn't make him one," she said playfully nudging him. But, it did make her think. There was something....different about the man. Could he be something other than just another mutant?

Quickly being brought back to the present, she sent her attention to blondie at his question of whether or not he will get a cast and....crutches. With a laugh she said, "Might hurt more than simply punching someone. One more weapon to use against the were-people out there." Winking her grey eye, Briana laughed lightly at her own joke.

"Of course...it only makes sense since he was up awake at the same hour we were." Silus said. Oh this was getting GOOOOOD. With a smile he looked over to Brandon who was almost in shock. He giggled to himself, trying hard to not let it show, but it was pretty clear he was giggling like a little child. He absolutely loved the expression he got out of Brandon too...this guy would almost believe anything it seemed. Maybe Silus could do something like convince him that churro's were anti-werefolk devices created by the Mexicans. He listened as the kid got himself all psyched up to get a cast. Though Silus laughed and his eye arched as he heard Brandons mis-speak.

"Well uh...not sure why you'd need a cast for crotches...where is your mind at bud?" He chuckled as he stood up and walked over towards the door, looking out for Adelane. Seeing no sign of her he began to wonder if he should take Bri's advice and scurry around for the memories. Or he could stay here and keep messing with Bri and Brandon's heads about their mutual professor. He'd stay for a bit longer... "I just came to do some...stuff. I didn't expect to get roped into returning as a volunteer and getting...well...glomped by a wreck-victim. It's been eventful..." He stated with a laugh.

The more Silus said what he said, the more it seemed to make sense to the blond mutant. Even with the mis-speak, Brandon was still upbeat about everything, even with the broken leg. ”Your crotch..obviously.” He said with a smirk, chuckling lightly before letting his head fall back against whatever. Whatever Silus expression was, he didn’t really have his mind focused upon. ”I’m hungry, we got anything to eat around here?”

Briana rolled her eyes playfully at Silus' deduction that Vitale was likely a werewolf due to him being up at the same time they were that night. "There are lots of other reasons he was up when we were. Look at all the other that were running about that night," she said lightly. Briana was sure that their new Literature professor was not a werewolf. She didn't know what kind of mutant he was, but a lycan he was not.

When Brandon cleared up what the use of crotches were for, she simply closed her eyes and faceplamed, shaking her head laughing quietly. Peeking at Silus, she saw his face and her laughing got a little bit louder. Getting control of herself, she looked up and said, "I bet we might be able to get a bite at the cafeteria... Seems all three of us has had an eventful day in our own way." She didn't mention that her eventful day was really having a vision that compelled her to come her. Nothing nearly as exciting as the boys.

Birana's defense was pretty expected honestrly, convincing her that there was something weird about Professor V. Was going to take some doing. She wasn't as gullible as the other blonde in the room...the one who lived up to the stereotype. Silus nodded as if he were taking in everything she said, and finally let lose his rebuttal.

"Bri, s'mmon now. There's a serious difference between us up and walking around and causing trouble and a supposed "professor" being up and around. I mean, seriously. How often do you see Professor Andrews, Professor Calor or Professor Giotelli- wow we have a lot of Italian running in the system." Silus said, getting side-tracked. His question posed to Brandon, he got his response, and it was clear as day...a little too clear for Silus' comfort.

”Your crotch..obviously.” He said, and the worst part? He said it so fluently. It had to be a joke, but that didn't stop Silus' face form burning a bright beat red. He didn't know what to do, he was totally lost, utterly in shock. The kid was joking right? He had to be joking, but even so it was....Silus began to feel like he might be in the wrong company. First Briana and her little spell that night, and now this blonde dude is talking about his crotch. Not that there was anything wrong with Bri or Brandon...they were both attractive, but Silus...didn't know how to do this whole relationship crap. He sucked at keeping friends as it is, let alone making new ones and then trying to balance something more? Call it fear of the unknown, but Silus wasn't into this...at all.

"Well...I-I-I-I uh. Yeah. If you want food go to the cafeteria, don't expect on eating anything here though." Silus said, slightly rigid and directed at Brandon. He was really, really defensive now. He was like a little armadillo that had curled himself up. He stepped out into the hallway and tapped on the plastic sign that has the room number on it. He quickly snatched Adelanes attention and she glared at him. Silus rolled his eyes and tapped his foot. Adelane excused herself from her nurses' station and walked towards the room, an eye arched at Silus.

"Mmmm- this better be good boy." She said as she looked to him. Silus nodded and looked exactly like he wasn't taking her serious in the slightest.

"Blondies want to eat...can we get the papers?" Silus asked, Adelane flicked her wrist and the clipboard was forced into his abdomen. He heaved and doubled a little before snatching the clipboard and looking to her with a mischievous smirk. Adelane reached into her scrub pockets and glared at him. Silus held out his hand, and surrendered a wallet. Adelane snatched her wallet and sighed.

"Good to have you back baby." She said over her shoulder. Silus turned and walked over to Brandon and handed him the pen.

"Read and sign this." He said, giving the clipboard to Brandon. He then scoffed. "Actually...it'd probably be best for you to just Sign or someone to read it to you." He said, still edgy from the comment about his groin.

His attention for a moment fell upon Silus’ reaction, which came in the form of him stuttering slightly, though the mutant was unaware why. There was a cafeteria here, so that meant that he would be able to get himself something to eat, maybe even a cheeseburger. The sassy woman looked back in, handing Silus some kind of clip board that he handed to Brandon to read and sign. He stuck his tongue out slightly, running over his upper lip as he read over everything, mind reeling over some of the words but it required signing, so that was what he did. Simply signing it, he handed it back to Silus. ”That means we can have food now right?” He asked with a grin, looking down to the splint wrapped around his leg and back to Silus and Briana. If the answer was good, he would reach for the crutches supplied to him and attempt standing, which did not go so well. Upon placing more pressure than intended, the metals of the crutch let out a low, nearly inaudible groan as it bent sideways. Brandon found himself falling rear first on the bed as a bolt of pain coursed through his leg, and caused him to whimper. ”Great…now I broke that too.”

Briana laughed lightly and shook her head. "I, personally, don't go looking for professors to be up and about in the middle of the night. But, you do have a point... Then again, you don't know for sure why he was up then, either. Just a speculation..." she teased. She noticed something flit across his features after blondie's answer about crotches. She knew that Silus was the rough-and-tumble lone wolf, but she was seeing a different side to him. Did he worry about keeping the two of them around? Figuring she could ask that another time, she pushed the thought from her mind.

Gently running her fingers along the pages of her notebook, Briana watched as the nurse came at Silus' call with a clipboard and thrust it at Silus. They had to be release papers as Brandon had to sign them in order to go get something to eat. The relationship between Silus and the nurse made Briana smile. She could tell they were close based on what all they could get away with towards one another. When Brandon signed the papers and attempted to use the crutches supplied to him, Briana was a little stunned to see them bend like they were nothing. Moving to sit next to him on the bed, she said, "Don't know your own strength, huh?" Looking at the bent metal, she held up her hand and in a motion that looked like she was wiping the metal, she used her telekinesis to straighten out the bent metal of one and then the other crutch. "Be careful this time," she said winking her grey eye and standing.

Silus watched as Brandon bent the crutches and it made his jaw drop. Wait a second...yeah the kid was tough, but he had the strength to match it!? Was this guy a midget-giant or something? Silus watched as Briana walked over and straightened out the crutch using her telekinesis. Silus clenched his jaw, almost wanting to growl, but not letting his distaste show, he simply looked...absent minded. People just using their powers... yup.

Eventually Silus showed them the cafeteria. The way it was working was apparently Brandon was going to hobble through, and Briana was going to help Brandon make his own tray. Silus quickly made his own, the system hadn't changed since his last time here...thankfully. When Briana and Brandon were ready, Silus paid for the three of them to eat, his way of making up for sticking Bri with the "Brandon" issue.

Silus had a Rice Pilaf dish and some form of strange garlic buttery Italian noodles. Couple this with diced pineapple and it was the perfect lunch-dinner thing. He also opted to spend a little extra in order to get himself a blended Chai to enjoy. HE took a sip of it and his mind snapped back to Biology class. Oh THAT'S what that smell was. He thought, remembering smelling a familiar scent. Apparently he wasn't the only one who appreciated the drink. With a sigh the cool air around tried to flood into his mouth, to extinguish the heat brought on by the drink. He pulled out his MP3 Player, to find that it had accidentally kicked on, and was draining his battery. He wouldn't have music on the walk home...it was like a knife to the heart.

"So...next time I'd suggest avoiding werewolves in cars... then again....after telling Professot V that you punch his people...he might have tried to hit you himself." He said, counting on Brandon to freak out a little. Silus was a terrible person some times. At times. Most the times...

... All the time.

Brandon looked to Silus guiltily, as if he had accidentally snapped a puppy’s neck while petting it. No matter how hard he tried, Brandon found that his super strength would always get out of his control, breaking things or hurting those that he cared for. The poor dimwit hoped that his friends didn’t think any less of him for being unable to control his rather immense physical strength, though they probably had their own little abilities, and Briana showed what she could do. Bending the crutch back with sheer force of her mind, which made Brandon smile widely like a child watching a magic trick. Witch crutches slightly fixed, Brandon tried to use less strength while walking on them, and that seemed to go better. If he had any trouble, the blonde girl seemed willing to help him, and that made the male happy.

It reminded him of his mother slightly, but that wasn’t a bad thing. She would probably say something about not playing in the road, and he would have to say he didn’t, Aaron just casually sitting on the sideline. Walking through the cafeteria, Brandon found himself overwhelmed with hunger, instantly craving fried chicken, and luckily they had a variation of chicken; well baked but beggars can’t be choosers. Briana for the most part helped, rice, the chicken and some kind of roll/bread thing being placed upon his tray, along with something fizzy for a drink, looked like root beer. Brandon hobbled over to where he saw Silus sitting, and plopped down next to the male, eating a mouthful of chicken before speaking.

”W..ww…what?” Brandon sputtered nearly choking on the rice that he was eating. If that were the case, then his current favorite teacher was trying to kill him? His body for second found breathing nearly impossible, before Brandon calmed down once again.

Briana followed Brandon through the line of the cafeteria, helping him as needed with his tray and picking a turkey sandwich on wheat, a cup of chicken noodle soup, and a container of yogurt with a cup of hot chocolate for a drink for her meal. Carrying Brandon's tray for him as they made their way to a table, she glanced at Silus and smiled in thanks for paying for their food. She set his tray down before taking a seat of her own. She didn't mind helping Brandon, and really, had she not, it was likely that his tray would be on the floor instead of on the table.

Taking a sip of her warm drink, Briana felt a little more at ease about the vision that brought her there. Silus' comment made her laugh into her cup, splashing a little of her hot coco onto her nose. Picking up her napkin, she cleaned it off and said, "You really think a professor, no matter what he is would run down a student?" Just as Silus teased her, she was giving it right back. A part of her still didn't buy that Vitale was a werewolf. He was different, but certainly not a werewolf...

"I'm messing with ya. I doubt he's the one who hit you...but he's probably a werewolf. I mean, seriously...I don't know anyone who eats steak practically raw. I mean, I like rare but his was RAW." Silus said as he slowly began eating. Unlike many others he made a point to eat slowly, seeing as it took about 15 minutes for your brain to get the message that your stomach is full. He took a sip of the blended Chai and took in a deep breath. He looked over to another table to see familiar faces, from when he volunteered here last time. He noticed the glares and the leers of disapproval. He realized who was looking at him.

When Silus first started this "bad-boy" or "tough guy" or whatever it was... when he started this little reputation for himself, he started a fight. Long story short he picked the toughest kid he could find, and started wailing on him. His power accidentally triggered and he...accidentally sucked out too much of the other guys soul. His Psyche was completely gone...he was legally brain dead. His parents being wealthy enough kept him alive, hoping to pay a telepath to come in and forcefully 'rehabilitate' his mind. The people glaring at him...were the nurses who had been taking care of the vegetable for the past few years. He cleared his throat, looked back to his food and began pushing it around. He took another bite, the grating of the silverware against his teeth. He continued to push his food around a bit, trying to muster up the will to eat it, but nothing came.

"So Bri. I'm here for memories...Brandon's here because of werewolves. But what brings you here?" He asked her. He noticed finally that she was carrying a note book with her. He smirked a little. "Is that-?" He asked., pointing to the book.
