Son of the Sky God (Open)

Perseus was just resting in the park enjoying a nice smoke. It was Saturday and he was off duty. He had a part time job of hunting mutants. Luckily, he knew a guy, who knew a guy who could cover the deaths up quickly and secretly. No one would know what hit them. He had just picked up Heracles from school and dropped him off to the Library with his friends. Now all Perseus could do was wait for the action to come to him.

Perseus was basically a human. His power of self immunity towards other powers was a gift to say the least. He could blend in with society unlike most mutants and as a prize, he couldn't get his mind read or attacked by an occult source. It was bliss. Not to mention the money he racks up thanks to his mercenary job.

Perseus looked around the park. A couple of children played with a frisbee. The frisbee came spiraling to wards Perseus. He heard it out the side of his well trained ear and pulled his pistol out with the crosshairs on the disk.

People stared. Perseus put the gun away and stood up, taking the cigarette out his mouth. He took the frisbee with his hand and threw it back with a smile of hopeful sympathy. Perseus may have hated Mutants with a despicable passion but he believed in good in all humans.

It was a beautiful day.  Sophia decided to hit the park up wearing a simple outfit today.  Every where she went, she left a flowery pleasant smell.  She held an ice cream cone of vanilla sprinkled ice cream.  She ate it seductively, just to tease the humans around her.  She had given up a while ago on letting it get to her that men would just stare at her.  Even before the x-gene showed up in her, Sophia was a very beautiful girl.  The pheromone powers along with the hormone manipulation and empathy just made things a lot more extreme.  She was raped one night and repulsed that man to kill himself after it happened.  But she felt like she deserved all of that.

Finally, she had come to terms with everything and just felt like today was a great day to enjoy life.  Eat ice cream, flirt with some men, and maybe get free dinner later.  Jonathan Reeves had helped her control some of her powers, everything except the pheromone flowery smell that no matter what emitted from her 24/7.

Most mutants would smell it and think it was perfume, but to a human it was that of intoxicated lust and desire.  So Sophia was here in the park, eyeing the men.  That was when she noticed Perseus.  He wasn't bad looking.  She decided to go over and work her charm.  No harm in it.  The pink lining her iris's were dull and barely noticeable since she wasn't using her powers right now.  As she approached him, she took a nice seductive lick of her ice cream and smirked.

"Hi there.  All alone today?"

Perseus laid on the grass and looked up at the sky before his eyes carefully rested. He was awakened when a girl came up to him. She was cute, he could say that. But it seemed as if she was trying hard. "Why yes I am Miss." Perseus said with a smile on his face.

Perseus was married.

Although he was married to a very beautiful woman, and had a very handsome son, he was a—what you might call—a Man Whore. He slept with alot of people of both genders in the first year of marriage, but his Bi-polar like actions of still truthfully caring for her was futile. He still loved her but he just couldn't stay with one person. He couldn't help it.
