Since meeting sean, arabella was learning that as much as her mother and father loved and care for her she needed to live her own life. She needed to discover who she was. Her father was upset with her. Really upset. He hadnt banned her from coming home but he had strongly suggested that it wouldnt be a good idea to return home until she finished her studies. It hurt. She needed to think.

She brought her cello down to one of the many unused rooms on the main floor and closed the door. She got comfortable in a chair with her back to the door and started to play. The  music coming from her cello was sad and deep. She closed her eyes as she played and became lost in her music.

Does she finally understand it? How fragile life is? Do you understand now Margerette? Aramis found himself wondering as he sat in his room at the Xavier school, his litter sister sleeping curled up on his bed, hugging onto Peter's jacket and moist eyes. Aramis felt nothing. He didn't want to feel anything, he didn't ant to feel the pain, he didn't want to feel his heart break a little more and more with every thump, with every beat. He let out a small annoyed sigh as he closed his eyes, thinking back upon his family...and how one man...one common human being was able to take down one of the most powerful names in the United Kingdom. The Paynes... a family within single digits from the royal crown of England. The Queen's right hand, the King's advisor, and the world's paragon. Hundreds of their years...in minutes had disappeared. Now it was just him. ARCHDUKE Aramis Payne, and his little sister Margerette.

He heard a little something to his ear. A single tear formed, and for a moment...even his power's couldn't save him. The liquid seeped through and trailed down his cheek. His eyes opened as he stood up and walked out the door quietly, following the trail. He brought his fore arm up and wiped the estranged liquid away before trailing down the stairs toward the room. He folded his arms and stood in the doorway as he listened to the music being played. His eyes began to seep more, but only a few escaped down his cheeks as he listened. The girl playing was so lost in her own art, in her craft. It was amazing how easily she drew another in without needing to try...or even noticing yet.

Arabella was lost in her music. Her hands skillfully played  cello like she and the instrument were one. She played flawlessly even though one of her hands was bandaged on the palm. She also had a mostly healed scrape on her chin. Her eyes remained closed as she played.

Some of her hair hung low over her shoulder but she was still recognizable as Arabella Adair. She was grown from the little girl who always carried a book that he knew.

Aramis smirked as he listened to the song play on and on. He found himself touched by the melody. Something about it speaking volumes to him. Perhaps it was the instrument, perhaps the way the player manipulated it. Either way, it was something to be enjoyed. Aramis was not the brightest boy on campus, but he certainly knew a face when he saw it. When her head moved slightly he caught eye of a book sitting on the side table, which caused Aramis' smile to fade into a slightly agape mouth and a cocked head. The book, and the face fit all to perfectly.

It had been probably five or six years...maybe even more, maybe a little less. He couldn't remember exactly when, his life had gone to Hell since then, and then came back...and now it was in Hell again. All that aside, it was a face he remembered. He struggled to think of a name, he knew it was like his. A-R-A-something. Aramis and Ara-what? Arastegia? No, that's Anastagia. Arashella? No that sounds like a spahgetti type. ARABELLA! It was Arabella! He remembered because his older brother was always being crude to her, and he even called Aramis and Arabella "Beauty and the Beast... 'cept backwards." and it irked Aramis. Thre thought of him in Belle's dress amused some...but not him.

"Etradorinary." He said, his accent still thick though it was just above a whisper and JUST loud enough to be heard. He smiled, not even caring to wipe his face, having completely forgotten.

Arabella was lost in her emotions and her music. She loved her cello. It was one of the few things that she could use to express how she was feeling. She was starting another song when she heard a voice say her name. It sounded low and painful.

She stopped playing abruptly. The cello made a funny noise when she did. She opened her blue/ green eyes and looked at him looking a little lost. " Im sorry... do i know you?" She was emberassed someone heard her play such a personal song.
