Luke decided hanging around Xavier's was just too boring and decided to explore the mall to pass the time.  He dressed up in a classy dress suit and dress shoes.  He always suited up when he left the mansion, trying his best to look good.  He got the suiting up idea by watching too much of How I Met your Mother, but he didn't care.

He looked good in his suit as he headed out to the mall with some cash and credit cards.  He stole some of the cash from the earlier years when he come to America and now that he had been here for a while, he was able to get a credit card and his own money by working.  An odd job here and there, walking dogs, cleaning homes.  He didn't care, the money was good.

As he strolled the mall, he debated on his first store and decided to hit the food court first and get some McDonald's.  He ordered his food and sat down, tricking the cashier that he had given money to the man.  He simply phased his hand through the register and got his money back out along with a few other big bills.  He knew it wasn't right, but hey, he was able to do it so why not.  It's not like he was ever caught.  He moved too fast for camera's to pick up on.  Today was beginning to look like a good day as he took a bit out of his burger.

"American food is amazing!"  He shouted out loud to the mall walkers that passed him in his Russian accent and grinned as they gave him a dirty look.  He loved to joke around, and today was no different.  He just wished he knew of other mutants besides the ones he passed in Xavier's.  He wanted friends and just had not had the luck of making any yet.

Jack was feeling very hungry. Strolling through the crowded Manhattan Mall was like walking through a buffet, all the passersby looking like perfectly seasoned slabs of meat. It was maddening but equally sickening. We was surrounded on all ends by the worthless swill of humanity, like walking through a heard of cattle. It took all he had to not chomp into the tender flesh of one of the strangers as they bumped into him, oblivious as to where they were going. "Swine" he scoffed baring his pointed teeth as the person moved by. They turned, angrily at first but upon seeing his teeth dropped their bags and ran in fear. It made Jack laugh to watch the inferior creature in fear, but he knew that if he stayed here for too long the individual may bring law enforcement. Jack wasn't looking to cause a scene today, only to catch a meal and so he ducked into the food court.

The smells of cooked meat filled his nostrils and drove the hunger in abyss of his stomach even stronger. Jack's eyes darted around the large area, trying to find a victim. Hopefully someone separated from the crowds, perhaps entering a bathroom alone. There was no one of the sort, the mass of bacteria was far too clustered but what did catch his eye was far more interesting. His eyes still searching, they fell upon a boy phasing his hand through a cash register to steal a few bills while the cashier wasn't looking. "Interesting" he hummed to himself running his tongue over a fang or two. Maybe he would not get a meal here today but perhaps he could make an ally. Regardless, any mutant willing to use his abilities to their advantages regardless of its impact on  humans was a friend of Jack's.

Calmly he watched as the boy made his way to a table with his meal and took a bite. "American food is amazing!" he exclaimed in a Russian accent drawing some bizarre looks from a few onlookers. Their faces upset Jack. He was used to looks of disgust from the human race and they only made him want to rip the flesh from their faces. But, anger was not what he needed now and he took a deep breath before taking a seat at the same table as the boy. "I prefer authentic Chinese, the American diet is far too fatty. It ruins the flavor" he remarked to the boy, not so much referring to American or Chinese cuisine. "My name is Jack, and I'm quite impressed by what you did back there" he said nodding in the direction of the McDonald's.

Luke was so into his meal he didn't notice he hd drawn another's attention until he saw someone sit cross from him.  At first it startled him, he didn't know much about the manners of American's but it seemed this man was not a normal human.  He could tell just by looking at him. It seemed Luke had drawn the attention of another mutant.  What kind of mutant was yet to be known but Luke listened to the man speak and laughed when he mentioned his trick on getting free bills and that he preferred. Chinese food over American.

"Nice to meet you Jack. My name is Luke.  I guess you saw my trick over there. vell, vha can I say?  It vas too easy."  He laughed and held out his hand to his new guest at his table in a friendly manner.  "Vould you like me to get some more for you?  It vas very easy and I don't mind for a fellow mutant... you are a mutant too yes?  I can tell by your teeth.  I am new to America so meeting anyone outside of Xaviers Institute is very nice and I vant to met as many mutants a I can."  Luke said, and hoped he wasn't just assuming.
