A Place To Call Home - (PG)

Rachel pulled into the garage of her mansion. It was a big and could keep at least 3 cars at one time. Bellow, were more spaces for vehicles and other garage necessities. Getting off bike, Rachel looked at Charity to make sure the girl didn't fly off the bike during a ride. She wasn't sure what the youngster thought of bikes, but Rachel loved it. The thrill of zipping between cars and feeling wind blowing on your face and lashing against her face was nothing to be compared to.

"What do you think?" asked Rachel, swinging her bag around her shoulder. "I mean your ride home..." Just at the time, door to the house opened up and Stephan showed up. "Ah, Stephan, I want you to meet Charity. She'll be staying with us for a while. Would you be kind to show her where the guests rooms are and let her pick any one she wants." said Rachel, staring to walk to the door. "I'll be right back up with you very shortly."

The ride was amazing to the little girl, she had never experienced anything like it.  Some times she squealed in delight but she figured Rachel didn't hear hr for she asked her how she liked the ride when they pulled up to a house that was enormous to the girls eyes.  She stepped off the bike and gasped.

"It was so much fun!  This is huge! You live here?"  She asked and her eyes couldn't stop looking around.  Charity followed Rachel to Stephen and she smiled at the man and then looked to Rachel.  "Is he a mutant too?"  She asked and slowly removed her old over-sized coat.  She felt no need to hide her wings here.  Once he led her to the rooms she picked the third one with the biggest outside view.

"Miss Amy, this is amazing.  I don't know how I can thank you.  Its been so long since I've been inside a home."
