The small black wolf pup yawned, licking over its lips as its head darted about inquisitively. Water spouted from a spout and created ripples through the water that was pooling within the fountain, Shael trotting over to it and propping himself over the side, panting as he lapped at the water to hydrate himself. It was one of those hot days and he was thirsty, so he did what any sensible animal would do when water so present; drink. His tail was wagging while he did so, swinging left and right for a bit before falling lax, the wolf pulling back and panting loudly, his lower jawn and some of his upper snout now dampened with water.
His attention then snapped to what appeared to be a butterfly, the pup darting off after it, attempting to snap it up in his mouth and the flying insect managing to be just out of his reach, yet that did not stop the little guy from trying. He would continue to do so, snapping at it until he grew tired. He would roll around in the grass and eventually just lying there, panting to himself, not really paying any attention to anyone else, as if he considered a wolf rolling about in the gardens normal.
