Amelia had to get away from her home, the stress of being there was overwhelming with her aunt always telling her to be careful and all. So what if Amelia couldn't always control her powers and set things on fire? She liked it. Amelia loved the smell of things burning, even if sometimes it was her own clothing. She even laughed when the red streaks in her hair lit up and made her hair half on fire. She loved her powers and hated when someone told her to control it better.
Now, Amelia figured central park at night would be the best place to go to set fires and not be scolded by anyone who didn't want to start a fight. She would love that any way, scaring a normal human with a fire ball. All she had to do was snap her fingers to get a spark and then it was fun.
As she walked through the park, she juggled two fire balls in her hand before throwing one at a trash bin, setting it ablaze and grinned. She absorbed the other fireball and began to play with the fire in the bin. The flames grew in size and then she began to make shapes in the fire. Her eyes glew red as she did so and soon the red streaks in her hair caught fire, slowly burning but not leaving where the red was. It was beautiful to see since the fire wasn't large but almost traced her hair streaks, giving it a cool effect.
