All-U-Can Eat Milkshakes (Luke) ~G~

Neo had scrounged up, and earned some allowance from Thana, enough for the Mel's Diner all you can eat milkshakes night. It was something that happened on Thursdays. Or the day after the Wedsdnay church gatherings. This was how he knew it. Not by the day but by the fact on the evenings after the church night teens on the streets whispered about the all you can eat milkshakes at Mel's diner. One price and you could drink milkshakes until you burst. If you could break the record for most shakes drank in one night you apparently won a reward. It was something a lot of teenagers and kids dreamed of doing. Himself, he would be happy if he could keep down two or three milkshakes. Walking into the diner shortly after five in the evening he was escorted to a barstool. Dressed in a pair of jeans, a blue shirt and a threadbare jacket, he was doing his best to keep his head down.

He ordered the milkshake that Thana had given him the first night he met her. There was so many people here. A mixture of humans, mutants and everything inbetween. Nearby was other teenagers but he doubted anyone he knew was here. Paying for the all you can eat milkshakes he waited. The music was quite light and festive tonight. People came and went. He wondered as he watched a family to the side. A mother, father and two kids...what was it like to have that?

(ooc: I didn't want to godmode or npc your characters entrance.)

Luke had been in the Diner for some time.  Not for eating of course, no, he was much more cunning than that. Luke had more plans wile it ws crowded.  Already, he had earned himself over $500 by pick pocking others, phasing though their purses with his speed, they never knew it.  Sure, he was also getting some of the free all you can eat milkshakes with his new earnings, but he still had his fun.  He flirted with the ladies before deciding it was time to relax, act casual and walked to the bar next to Neo, ordering another milk shake.  Right away, he pulled out his new wad of cash and slapped it down.

"From Russia vit love, milkshakes for everyone at ze bar."  He grinned and raised a fist in the air, thinking he was king.  (suchish I know, Amelia might of been better but meh)

Neo kept his money close as he only had a bit of change left. He already paid for his milkshakes. His years on the street keeping him alert. Except for the moments now and then when he zoned out and watched families. Wondering what it was like to have what those kids had. Then just shaking his head and sipping his shake. The outfit he wore made it really hard unless you stared him down to tell with the top of build and body structure what gender he was. That might be why the man behind the counter was making those goo goo eyes at him. Pushing a strand of the long blond hair over his shoulder. Carefully drinking away his milkshake. He tried to ignore the fact someone else sat next to him. It was hard when the accent caught his interest. He was used to hearing the twang the americans had.

He glanced to the male who plopped down 500 in cash. Rich boy? Oh shiz. He better just lay low. That always ended badly for the streeet. "Um..thanks." His voice soft and completely gender neutral unless he consciously focused on it sounding male. Too much work right now. Finishing off his milkshake asking for a cookies and cream. The accent said Russian, the boy said from russia, it was probably a stupid question to ask but he wanted to know. "Were you born in Russia?" It still slipped out of his lips before he could stop himself. Flushing faintly across the top of his cheeks. Hopefully the boy missed it. The only way he could feel any stupider right now is if someone asked him to read something.

Luke looked over at the boy next to him and flashed his cheesy smile, pocketing the rest of his cash he stole and laughed a bit, "Da, Moscow."  He said and nodded when his drink came.  He noticed the kid eyeing his cash before he put it away and his smile just grew.
"Need some of ze money? Let you in on a secrete.  Not mine.  I do magic vatch."  Luke said, completely unafraid, he vanished from his chair, running fast, that when he was seen again it was behind Neo.  Luke poked his shoulder, holding the money from Neo's pocket, phasing his hand in and out so fast that the kid could not of felt it happen. "Missing your money?"  He grinned and placed it down.

"Vhat can I say, I has ze sticky fingers."

Neo looked at the guy as he laughed. Nodding his head. Farther away east than even he was from. He frowned a bit. "No thanks. I don't accept charity." He spoke softly yet uncomfortably. Blinking as he tilted his head a bit. Let him in on a secret? Not his? Then he really didn't want it. Magic? Cool! He was willing to believe in that. He had a nice smile this russian boy. He noticed that but wasn't interested. He tensed at the slight touches. He knew the feeling of getting pickpocketed quite well by now, but he didn't actually connect it with the Russian boy until he had spoken.

At the poke to his shoulder made him jump which resulted in the plant about seven feet south of them suddenly throwing itself through the window by the door. He looked at him with an almost too adorable pout when he asked that. Checking his pocket to be sure when he saw it in the boys hands. How? Magic! He hadn't felt how it went missing just that he got pickpocketed...just he had. He been pickpocketed before.

Quickly gathering it up he lit up when he saw him place the money down. "You spend a lot of time on the streets? I am glad it was you doing your magic trick. I have seen street magicians before. I thought it was one of the older boys picking on me again." he admitted with a relieved sigh. Putting his coins back in his pockets. "I'm Neo. What's your name?" He asked with the slight islanders slur in his voice.

Luke just sat there laughing when the other boy jumped.  He loved messing with others and this was nothing different.  Of course it wasn't magic but he'd let the other boy in on that later maybe.  Still, his laughter was loud, his smile bright as he waited for the other boy to collect himself.

"Lucas Hanson, but please call me Luke.  And don't vorry about ze other boys.  They bug you I vill take all zere money.  And No, I don't live on the streets.  I live at this place for ze gifted children, Xavier's.  I'm not sure if you heard of it."  He  still kept his cocky smile on his face, zero fear in sharing any information with anyone.  Luke knew if it came down to M.R.D, he'd just run away, they couldn't catch him.

Neo looked around and noticed that nobody seemed to notice the plant through the window. Or they blamed it on the group of thugs by the entrance. Seemed the latter was the case because they seemed to be arguing with a couple of the wait staff before storming out the front door. He tried to stay alert to all of his surroundings. It was hard to stay focused except on the russian boy when he kept laughing. It was loud and drew his attention to the boy again like a shiny penny in the sunlight. He had one of those smiles people claimed in movies to get drunk off of. Not a grating laugh either. Scrunching his nose cutely as he wasn't sure what he was laughing at.'

Sipping slowly the milkshake. "Alright Luke." he said and blinked a bit. "Why would you do that just because they bugged me? You just met me." He said with a frown. He didn't trust actions like that easy. It didn't make sense. Not after the dog eat dog world he learned was life on the streets. "Sounds like a rich kid school." he said with a frown. "Probably not...name doesn't ring an immediate bell." He said after a few moments of silence. The boys nice smile just turned cocky. He tilted his head to the side as long strands of blond hair fell like a cascading of the curtain call when he did so.

He pushed his hair over his shoulder again. "So what kind of shake you like?" He asked softly. Trying to figure out whether this guy was trying to be his friend or if he wanted something. He didn't seem to want anything but he wasn't sure it was safe to assume he wanted to be friends. He deep down hoped. He needed a friend besides Thana.

"I like all kinds of shakes and zis school, not for rich kids.  For gifted kids.  Vonces that can do things normal kids can't.  Like me.  Like you.  I saw zhat plant.  You are gifted.  Da?"  He grinned when his milkshake came and quickly began to drink it fast, unlike most people could.  As if his body needed the sugar, he finished it within seconds and ordered another.  "Sugar helps vith vhat I can do Mr. I can move things vith my mind.  See I don't exactly do ze magic.  I am like ze Flash, with A little extra."  

Luke smiled and twirled his chair waiting for the next shake.

Neo wasn't sure how far to trust this guy. On one hand it was really easy to trust him. On the other...it was almost TOO easy. Plus the minute he mentioned gifts, him (as in neo), plants and seeing it he shut down. Withdrawing into himself as there was something uneasy. Looking at the area south of them. "Looked to me like those thugs threw the plant out the window. The waiters seem to think so too." he said softly. Watching as the guys milkshake and his new one arrived. Watching him in confusion. "I don't move things with my mind. How can you be so open with what you can do?" he asked in confsuion. He wasn't sure what to think. Or do. He knew the two people he without a doubt trusted. All he knew was Luke was both nice and confusing. He was and was not sure if the guy was trying to be friends or have fun at his expense. He partily thought both.

Why was he calling him move things with his mind? The plant must have reacted to his emotions as thats the only explaination he had. That also wasn't something he wanted to share. That went over so well. Oh you move super fast? Well I'm a nature/plant whisperer. Nice to meet you. Not. He thought to himself. "I do not have psychic powers." He muttered. Least...he didn't think so. He had something he dubbed Voice of Nature. "We're going with magic right now." he said softly. Sipping his shake a bit. He would ask Shikon and Thana for advise. He right now as mildly enjoying this boys company but he was close to bolting if the guy insisted on a subject he was still fully trying to get. He also didn't want to get called crazy. "I'm different...thats all I'm willing to share until I'm sure your actually a friend not just having fun at my expense. You're really nice and I'm enjoying your company but...I don't share things as easily as you do." He said with a soft smile.

He was uneasy and uncharted waters were frightening. He was trying not to repeat the same mistakes he initially made with Thana...yet he was also wanting to run and go home to Thana or Shikon. Where he knew was safe.

"Vhat ever."  Luke said and downed his new milkshake just as fast as the last.  He was so casual at everything that he decided to do something a bit fun.  "I don't make many friends for I always have to be the very best.  I like parkour, running, and vell, showing off vhat I can do.  Screw the M.R.D.  Besides, no one here ever listens to anyone but themselves here.  This is vhy I tell you these things.  I am the best of the best."  Luke said and patted Neo right on the back ordering three more shakes at once.

"Vatch this." He said and leapt over the counter quickly, his legs vibrating fast, making them a blur as he reached the register and phased his hand into it.  He pulled out some twenty's and winked before throwing them back in.  Of course he showed them to Neo first.  He then jumped back to his seat all within the matter of thirty seconds.  In the back of Luke's mind, he laughed, having a blast watching Neo's reactions.

Neo wasn't sure how to take this guy. He was more and more certain the guy was just having too much fun at his expense. He seemed cool but just causing him more confusion. He rubbed his temples as he listened to him speaking. "I like to hide in plain sight and not be the center of attention." He responded to the guys having to be the very best. Pride before the fall...his mother used to state that to Gregori all the time. He didn't know how to handle the guy but when told to watch he did. Er...okay then? That was interesting...he watched as he flash ran over there and blinked as he "magically" stuck his hand through the cash drawer.

He watched it all as he was supposed to .Storing it away in his memory because maybe it was important but maybe it wasn't? He was showing a lot of expression and he could see in the guys eyes this was just so amusing to him. He also realized he wasn't able to drink anymore milkshakes. "Then you should try to beat the milkshake records...since your not the best at that." he said pointing to the board above where the cooks put the food for the waiters to distribute. Wondering if Shikon would be able to explain Luke's 'giftedness' to him.

"Milkshake record?  I could beat that.  I need the sugar for energy.  Running and moving very fast, burns a lot of how you say strength."  Luke said and grinned looking at the server.  "I vould like to beat the record, so I vould like to order all of the milkshakes it vill take to beat it."  He said as if it was nothing and finished the three shakes in front of him in three long gulps without even a moments pause of brain freeze.  The sugar seemed to keep him lively, energetic, happy.  Luke was something else.

He was having a blast at doing what he did and felt as if he was challenged to do this record nd now he was determined.

Neo looked at him. Then looked at the man behind the counter. "Whats the record number of shakes?" He asked. The man said 100 shakes even drank by a fat man in the late 90s. Looking to Luk as he said he could beat that. He needed the sugar. It was energy and being a younger Flash style superhero burnt energy and strength. "Caleries too I'd imagine. Least thats what the girls on the street would say." He mumbled it a bit. "You need to drink 101 shakes I think...as you heard its 100 milkshakes thats the current record." He said softly.

Watching with awe as the guy downed three shakes. He had eaten three there, one before that, one before that, and he thinks he had another before that. So the guy had eaten 5-6 shakes already. He watched as Luke got happier,energetic, livelier with the more sugar he ate. Did he crash from that sugar like he had seen little kids do? Or just get that way. He was a bit curious...but also wanted to see if Luke could drink that many shakes without getting sick. He couldn't read but he could do math in his head faster than any calculator.

Watching and laughing as Luke had them keeping the milkshakes coming. He had in his own way challenged the male...inadvertantly. Really he'd been trying to be a bit of a smartass or joking by saying the guy wasn't the best milkshake drinker since he didn't hold the record...yet this was actually really fun. His face seemed to light up when the full smile hit his lips. Giving his eyes a natural starlight twinkle in the center of the iris's.

(sorry for delay I was hospitalized again)


Luke grinned as he kept chugging the milkshakes down one by one and was soon at 55 before he had to pee.  He burped loudly and cheered at himself, spun his chair and slapped Neo on his back.
"I'll be back.  Got to release the stream.  But like the Arnold man says i'll be back!"  He said, making his voice sound like the terminator and fired hand guns before dashing to the rest room, disappearing into a blur.

After a minute he was back in his seat as if he was never gone. "So vhat number vas I on?  Am I close to the hundred mark yet my new best friend?"

Neo blinked and just marveled. He was keeping count in his head and stopped counting at 55 milkshakes. His eyes wide. Maybe he could beat that record. He'd need to drink just one more than a hundred and he was already a little over halfway to the record number. Yelping he jumped slightly then flinched when he was slapped on the back. He was once again on guard. Shifting around a bit he stopped being nervous and on edge long enough to blink and wonder who was Arnold man? He'd have to ask Shikon but again this was just another on the list of stuff the island boy had no idea about or what he was talking about. Interesting voice. He mentally played it over and over in his head. "Uh...okay?" He said.

Closing his eyes and fiddled with the pouch. It would be rude to just rush off but he was feeling the skittish need to flee again because of the slap on the back. Oh he knew it wasn't meant to harm nor had it really hurt...just his form felt it more due to malnourishment. It didn't take long to withdraw, center and regather himself. He nervously smiled a bit. "Before you left you finished number 55. The record stands at a hundred...so you need...." he did the math in his head. "...46 more to beat the record. Only 45 more to hit the hundred mark." He responded when Luke asked how close he was to a hundred. Yet when Luke called him his new best friend he almost visually did a double take yet hadn't. That caught him off guard more than the slap on the back Luke seemed fond of doing. Must be a mainlander thing.

Freezing a moment then stared at the boy. A slight smile and curious expression beofre he blinked and stared at him. Registering the words completely. Surreal yet words he eagerly and deep down sought almost as much as acceptance and family. Which he hand now thanks to Thana and Shikon. Even if he was afraid to trust or believe in it long term due to getting hurt...he was still very gullible to those words. He had so many emotions dance across his face and confusion showed too. Then he went to unreadable again yet still held a soft, warm and beautiful smile. New best friend? He hadn't even stated they were friends yet had Luke? Oh well...he wasn't going to argue or try to understand. Whether Luke 100% meant them or it was just a passing whim to him they meant a lot. He thought to himself. The words made him smile no matter how true or for the moment they might or might not be. He enjoyed the other boys company even if he was always doing unexpected or unpredictable things. Or touching...unexpectedly...he had a refreshign and lively view on life.

To him...Luke...Luke was a walking barrel of interesting and perplexing contradictions. He wasn't sure how far he could trust this 'new best friend' but at least it meant the guy wanted to be his friend...right? For now that was good enough. "Friends huh? I thought you didn't take many of those." He said softly. With a tenative attempt to be playful or joking.

(damn that was well written, mine suck lol. I'm having eye sight problems de to a medication reduction so bear with me for the next few posts)

"I don't take many friends, but you seem vorth the risk.  I like you, but I am not the um, how you say liking the men.  I like the women, you understand yes?"  Luke said not implying that he thought Neo was gay, he just wanted to state he wasn't.  He looked at the bar tender and grinned.  "I vould like 47 more milk shakes.  I vould like to beat this record by two not vone."  He laughed loudly and the bar tender left to get them started, placing them down just as fast as Luke downed them.  It seemed like it wasn't an issue at all.   He loved to eat them.  Eat time he had about five he let out a loud obnoxious belch and laughed looking at Neo for approval of his stupidity.


"So tell me a bit about yourself new friend.  I vould love to know a bit about you since you know lots about me."

(its okay. sometimes neo's thoughts are all over the place so I kinda hope his posts make sense even when they seem to me to follow the brain babies ~neo~ mindset LOL)

Neo looked at this guy. Remembering how this guy stated he liked to make decisions and be the best. Have control of everything. That had to be the only reason the Russian boy wanted to be friends with him. He'd never try to outshine him or steal the spotlight. He hated being the center of attention. He guessed this worked for him. He wasn't sure .Too much happening too fast and not all of it was this guy zapping around with his running. He blinked a bit. "I'm...complicated and confusing. I'm a boy...mostly. I am whatever gender people wanna call me really. You say the liking of men or the liking of women...but I don't understand what your trying to say about those things." He said softly with innocent naivity.

Looking up a bit. "I guess I wouldn't fit your liking or not liking because I'm neither boy nor girl just whatever people call me. I'm confused because I feel things and its just confusing...so if you see me as a boy than for Luke I am his male friend." He said with a bright smile. He was okay with either gender tag or being dressed in either. He had a complex issue being born androgynous yet feeling boy didn't fit him like girl did but nor did he really care honestly. He was whatever people wanted to call him. For luke he would be a boy for the hookers on the street a girl.

He smiled and watched Luke as he chugged down the milkshakes. Five more down...42 to go. Giggling a bit as he heard the declaration about wanting to beat it by two not one. Cheering him on and getting lost in the moment as he watched the guy downing them. He blinked a bit and stared at the guy when he looked at him. Why was he looking at him like that? He blinked a bit. "I'm androgynous...as I said before you see me as a boy so for Luke I'm a boy. Others see me as a girl so for them I'm a girl. I'm neither or both...I'm confused really but accepting of either. I have an adopted older sister and older brother. My names Neo and I'm from an uncharted tropical island...what else would you like to know?" He asked. Just throwing out a few random things. He didn't talk about himself as easily as Luke did but it was only fair to say a few things...right?

(stop worrying you are fine, and really are a great poster, stop worrying silly)

Luke listened as he downed the milkshakes without missing a beat.  He was at 78 now and still going.  He let out another obnoxious bletch and shouted, "Ten, defiantly a ten!"  And looked at Neo as he spoke. "Ah, so I vas right, you are liking of both men and women. I has no problem of this,  It is fine to love who you love.  I just won't be falling romantically for you my friend.  You understand yes?"  He said with a smile of silliness but kindness as well, reaching now 89.  He was almost there.

"You fit my liking for a friend, I don't care if you are boy or girl or both.  I like you as a friend because you came over, you had fun and laughed vith me and you don't care how obnoxious I've been or you'd be gone, this is vhat friends do.  And I like that about you."  He kept listening as Neo explained himself and sighed.  He patted Neo on the back and hugged him suddenly before downing another three.

"Two more and I'm at the hundred, so four more and I have the new record.  And ve vill celebrate by having more!"  Luke cheered and received the last four and chugged them fast, not wasting at time.  when he finished he climbed on top of the bar and shouted.  "FROM RUSSIA VITH LOVE! I HAVE BEATEN YOUR RECORD OF MILKSHAKES BY TWO!  I VON!" He did a small dance and leapt off, grabbing neo and lifted him without warning and swung his new friend in a circle before cheering loudly, "VOOOOO!"

(hahahaha easier said then done. I'm my own worst critic on my posts. I'm having fun thats all that matters XD)

Neo looked at him and giggled. Watching him a bit. He had just hit 78 in a flash. He was going a bit to fast to keep up fully for him. "Huh? I don't know what I like. I just said I dont' get what you mean by the liking of men or liking of women." He wasn't on the same wavelength as this guy. His brain just flailed and stared at him. "I am so lost...its almost funny." He said with a fit of pretty sounding giggles. "I don't love anyone but my sister and brother. I think Luke has a more mature mindset than I do. I'm really not sure we're even having the same conversation as each other about likings and stuff." It was really funny to him.

He was innocently trying to get the relationship or romantic meanings behind words that just sounded confusing and silly to him. Luke seemed to get them and understand stuff...he just gave up. It was over his head. Then he registered Luke's stating he won't be romantically falling for him. He stared at him blankly. "What is romantically falling for someone? Does that hurt? I don't understand. All that matters to me really is you seemed to have self proclaimed we're friends. So long as you don't betray my friendship and confusedly given trust then I'm alright being Luke's friend. I want friends even if I've learned trusting others ends in pain." He said with a bright and beautiful smile. Looking at Luke he just listened as he spoke a bit.

Listening to him as he spoke. Well honestly it was Luke who came over and stuff but that was just splitting hairs and at this point that was a detail that didn't matter. He was just soaking up what Luke kept saying...magic words...liking him for him. That they were friends because he was himself. To him everything else was just being absorbed and brushed aside. Blinking a bit. "Very few people like me for me..." He said softly and in an awed sounding voice. SHakin his head he blinked as he was hugged and let out an adorable squee sound when hugged. Blinking as he returned it then let go when he was released. Dazed by that he missed the entire statements prior to the ones Luke shouted. Flinching instinctively and let out a girlish sound eeek then laughed.

Though shock made him forget english as the other boy would found out when he spun him in the air the pillows at a hotel weighed about as much if not more than neo. As well as the fact depending where grabbed he had noticable female curvature. He spoke the islander words. "Mavadi adohso hakon dadsk. Dashi ver faish. Sashaodis Luke." What he was trying to say was Holy crap this is extremely unexpected. Put me down. Congratulations Luke. That was what his native tongue roughly translated to and what he would have said...but the shock made him forget English. He hoped to be put down soon everyone was looking and he felt exposed. Flushing brightly across the tops of his cheeks yet still happy for Luke.

(don't worry after a while you'll stop it and just have pure fun haha *tickles you*  I tried to spell the russianword for thank you but failed, but you can a leas soun it out.)

"You have a brother vith the same name as me?"  Luke asked and laughed, it was great.  That was too perfect in his mind. "I meant that you like both genders when you think about dating, you know, find both genders attractive."  He rolled his eyes, he wasn't even in America as long as the other boy, or at least that was what he thought.  At this time he was still drinking the milkshakes.  In his mind he knew he was going to pee for at least three minutes.

"Vell, you are easy to be liked vhen you show your true self Neo."  Luke said with a very serious face as he was getting close to the record, and then he hit it just as Neo laughed.  As he was spinning him as Neo spoke the second language he laughed. "English or Russian only my friend please!"  He shouted as the entire dier erupted into cheers, realizing that Luke had broken the record.  He was still dancing and showing off when the crowd was clapping.  He bowed and looked at Neo.  "I couldn't of done this vitout my new friend Neo.  He vas the vone vho told me about this record vhich vas very easy.  So Spaseeva! Thank you."

(*squeaks like a squeaky toy when tickled just because felt like not laughing* :P Neo would have the swirlies for eyes if this was an anime or comic LOL)

Neo blinked a bit. "Gregori Luke...nevermind." he muttered. "I'm not close to my biological family or brothers at all. He is evil and normal." He said softly. Finally remembering English...somewhat it came out extremely broken and strangled. He was just staring at him now as he spun around. Dating? Attractive? Whats that? He just had a blank stare on his face right now. He smiled shyly as Luke spoke about the fact he was easy to like when he showed his true self. Maybe...but it was safer inside his bubble or holes or shadows...than out in the light. Plus...cement holes didn't have plants all around.

He flushed more as he opened his mouth. "America is new to me...and english isn't my first language." he got out once they quieted down. Glad when he was put down. Also grateful the guy had him by the hips apparently not higher. That would have been embarressing...having to explain that to Luke. He was okay with the guy thinking he was a boy. His head hung so his long silky blond strands covered his face like a waterfalling veil of hair. He was red from head to toe contrasting the color of his hair when he listened to him. Shying up and muttered as he shifted with noticable skittish motions. He breathed deeply and quickly. Trying to center himself. He backed up til he was hiding in the shadows cast by the bar.

Hiding by the stools. "Luke...you have a more mature mindset than me. I don't know what dating or attraction or anything like that is. I don't think I can like either gender the way you must like girls...because I can't even figure out for myself what I really am..." He hid beneath the bar by the barstools.

(lol your adorable haha.  Shame Luke's straight right?  But hey best friends for life! lulz)


Once the crowd died down and his name was up, Luke listened to Neo speak.  He figured he would share his family to Neo as well. "My mother told me I vas the devil after my father and sister died the day my phasing powers emerged vhen my father crashed the car into a bus.  My mother who I vas veyr close vith told me I vas not her son and to never come back. I vas the devil, so I cae to America, almost has been a year now."  Luke said in reply to Neo speaking about his biological family and shrugged as if he was numb to it now.  

"How long have you been to the country?" He asked, sitting back down and whipped his mouth with a napkin.  "Come back and sit vith me, no vone cares that I made the speech with your name in it.  You can't be scared of the vorld or you vill miss everything.  Stick vith me and I will show you this vorld."  He laughed at that, thinking of Aladdin.    "And it's okay that you don't know vhat you vant, but you vill soon and vhen that day comes I vill be there."  He said and raised another milk shake up to finish his speech and somewhat toast to Neo, making the record 103 now.


"Vant to get out of here and go to the mall? I'm full."

(*shrugs* laughing was over rated was more fun to squeak LOL plus I think Neo's too innocent and child like minded most times for it to matter either way. XD well least they have a long time for Neo to be on the same page as luke on the bff bit XD Not looking to ship neo anyways lol)

Neo listened to him as he spoke. He really didn't know. How long had he been? He ran so much and lived on the streets for five or six years. "I dunno...I'm on the run so much I don't even remember. Or remember how long I been in the country. Just that I wasn't here as long as I been alive." He said softly. Sighing as he'd rather stay here in the shadows but he asked it so nicely he was wavering. Looking at him weirdly. "We live in different worlds Luke." He giggled a bit as he climbed to sit on the stool. "We may always live in different worlds but at least we can be friends...right?" He asked warmly.

He looked at him a bit. "I doubt it...I can't decide what gender I really am so I'm happy to be boy or girl depending who you ask. For Luke I'll always be a boy. Plus luke seems to think in ways I don't." He said with a giggle. Sticking his tongue out at him. Thinking a bit. "Um...as long as we don't go near the park...I guess so. I have to head back to my sister's place before nightfall though." he admitted.

Luke listened and nodded as he spun hi chair around in circles.  "I love to run too and do vhat Americans call Parkor, vhich is free running and jumping, like special ninja stuff.  It is so much fun.  I could teach you if you vould like?"  Luke asked and stopped spinning.  He listened to Neo continue talking and frowned.  They both lived in the same world, Neo was just different in Luke's mind.

"Ve live in the same vorld my friend, you just see it differently than I do.  But I vill show you the amazing things you most likely have missed out on and hopefuly you vill enjoy them."  He smiled and stood up, placing his leather jacket on and pointed to the door.  "You look like a ma to me so I say you are male for now my friend Neo.  Now let us go, I von't go near the park, ve vill take a taxi.  And I vill pay for you to take a taxi to your sisters house before your curfew."

(neo relates more to the she term but as he says he accepts either. LOL Plus he looks more like this picture of his face claim. click spoiler just long skirt and stuff. Neo's completely okay with that. He looks more male right now due to clothing but yeah XD)

Neo looked at him a bit. "Parkor?" he asked with a tilting of his head. Long hair falling to the side. Though seconds later Luke explained it. "Oh. I don't think I'm healthy enough for such ninja moves." He said with a smile. "I'd try to learn though." He admitted. He looked at him a bit. He had so much to ask big brother Shikon but he wouldn't think on it just yet. He looked at him a bit. Blinking a bit. Oh boy...off to never never land....he just stood up and smiled at him. "As I said Luke...I'm whatever gender you see me as or accept me for. For Luke I am male. For others I am female." He said with a bright smile. "Until I know for sure Luke can call me a boy." He said with a soft giggle.

Looking at him a bit. "Taxi? What's that?" he asked confusedly. Taxi? He hadn't even known what a television was until Thana explained the magic picture box to him. "Alright then. Long as I'm home before the curfew." He said with an agreeable tone.
