Current plot
Many years ago Xavier's school for gifted mutants was attacked. It was left in ruin. Teachers and students abandoned it with no hope of returning to it for sanctuary...

Years later a professor named Jason Andrews returned life to the school's halls and rebuilt its walls. Students have once again come to learn at the school in safety.

Many other mutants aren't quite so lucky. Some still remain hidden in the shadows and some within factions like the brotherhood are left leaderless.

Chris sat in the darkness of the MRD agent's apartment, staring at the door having fried the security system before breaking in. He took a seat in the corner with the best view and had been waiting for nearly an hour before the man he was after, an Agent Jenkins, finally walked through the door and turned on the light closing it behind him. At first he didn't spot Chris, but after noting the damage to his security system he turned around and saw the mutant in the chair recognizing him as wanted by the MRD. He went for his gun, but a jolt of electricity into his hand caused him to drop it to the ground and yelp in pain.

The electrical mutant smirked as he spoke up, keeping his hand pointed at the man like one would a loaded firearm in case he moved for his gun. "You know, for a government agent, I expected you to buy better security for your home," Chris mused as he stood from the corner chair, his eyes not leaving the man in front of him as he continued, "you never know what kind of people might get in."

Jenkins winced in pain, the smell of burnt hair and skin filling the room and the wound visible on the topside of his right hand. Through pain-filled eyes, he locked gaze with Chris with rage and spoke through gritted teeth. "What do you want?"

"I read through your files - I hope you don't mind. I assume you realize why I'm here and what it is that I want." As he spoke, Chris closed the distance between himself and Jenkins, picking up his file from a table behind the couch as he did so, holding it up to show its thickness but not taking his other hand from its offensive position. "You have a thick record on me, after all. Most of this information is from my father, but... I'm afraid he's no longer in a position to give you anymore because he kinda dead."

"You son of a bitch. You here to kill me now," he bellowed standing up straight once again and moving from the weapon once Chris gave him the nod to move to the couch where the agent took a seat.

The prospect of killing an MRD agent responsible for hurting Arabella was tempting, but he had to get information before he'd do something so drastic. He shrugged and answered. "Thought about it, but it's not you I'm after. It's your boss, Scarlett Hawthorne. Where is she?"

"I'm not telling you anything." The man was defiant, but his defiance was soon broken with more screaming from agony when hit with another jolt, this time into his chest causing him to tense up then shake once the electricity ceased coursing through his body.

"You should really learn to pay attention. I can do this all night if I have to, but I'd rather do it to her, so extend your life expectancy and tell me where she is: what's she to you? Definitely not worth protecting."
He moved to a position in front of the couch and looked briefly at a photo of a woman and child then smirked over at Jenkins devilishly, "I took a look at your pictures and notes - nice family. It's a shame about the divorce with Stephanie, that must have been hard on little Joseph but not nearly as hard as I'll be on them."

The man's look of pain went to anger mixed with fear. Chris had struck a never and Jenkins sat up on the couch as if to stand up and fight. "If you touch my family-"

All it took was Chris locking his gaze back on him and charging his hand with a ball of electricity as he reassured the man. "I won't do anything if you tell me where Scarlett Hawthorne is. Save your family or save your boss, which is more valuable to you, Agent Jenkins?"

The agent sat there a moment, obviously thinking it over then looked over at the photo of his family. Human behavior was predictable at times and he closed his eyes swallowing hard before looking back at Chris. "This mutant, Jenica Andrews - she can time travel. Miss Hawthorne went with her. I don't know where, I swear, but they will be back. She'll probably call when she does."

Jenkins pulled out his cellphone and showed it to Chris to which the mutant walked over to him and took it from him. "Thank you." After placing the phone into the pocket of his peacoat, Chris then looked back at Jenkins and smirked with malicious intent, his eyes going dark and he raised his charged hand, aiming for the man's head.

Jenkins was now no longer angry or defiant, but fear showed on his features and in his eyes as he squirmed on the chair. "I t-thought you weren't g-going to kill me."

"Did I say that? Oh... I lied." The mutant shrugged and chuckled before explaining himself, "you see, you're a liability. I can't have you popping up and tipping Scarlett off to what I'm up to when she gets back or intercepting her phone call. I would say it's not personal, but... that'd be a lie too." Following his words, Jenkins attempted to scream out for help, but was cut off from the discharge of electricity flowing into his head and through his body. It didn't take long to reduce the man to a smoking, lifeless body on a burned couch.

With his work done, Chris casually left the apartment, the files in hand and the phone in his pocket, stepping out on the street and looking around before turning and heading north. He'd wait for the call then be ready when it happened. He hated waiting more than anything in the world and even if she didn't call it wasn't a big loss. She'd know she was in danger once she found the body of a subordinate electrocuted to death in his home.

Lokith met up with Varga and had a few drinks...24 hours prior. Things were going well until he couldn't remember anything. He had lost 24 hours and woken up in a room inside one of the clubs he was venturing through with Varga. What had happened? He had a splitting headache. Yet he felt completely sober. That wasn't normal. Buying some clothes off one of the people inside the clubs back rooms and cleaned up in the owners shower. Redressing and headed out onto the streets. What was he missing? "For that matter...where the hell did Varga go? Damn human crew member." He said outloud as he walked south from the edge of downtown into upper town. Continuing to walk and not watching where he was going he ended up bumping shoulders with a man as he walked down the street. "Watch where your going." He growled despite it was his fault not the males, Christopher, whose shoulder his own bumped into.
