rude awakening ( R)

JJ woke up and found Remy gone. She felt the bed next to her and his side was cold. He had been gone a while. She hopped out of bed and turned on the light. She picked up her watch from the nightstand and looked at it. " Fuck."

She threw on the first clothes she could find. Jeans, boots, a tank top, remy's coat. She  ran down the hall to Arabella and Chris' room and banged on the door. Chris and Arabella knew Jake. JJ was only aware of him through degrees of separation. She banged harder. People were gunna get pissy. It was 3am but she needed them up like now. " BELLA! Chris! GUYS WAKE UP! We got a problem!"

Chris was sound asleep, having made the decision to sleep until his body felt necessary to wake up. After all they'd been through lately, he felt he and Arabella deserved a peaceful rest. He was laying on his side, with one arm around his girlfriend in the warm bed when the knock came at the door. At first, he merely grunted a bit in his sleep but when accompanied by shooting and more banging, Chris rolled over onto his back and sat up in the bed staring at the door.

He looked over at where Arabella lied then sighed and turned on the lamp next to his side and slid out of bed having recognized the voice as that of Jenica. Dressed in a pair of shorts and a grey T-shirt that belonged to Alec, Chris noted the time on the alarm clock then made his way to the door and opened it, his eyes squinting at the light from the hall looking at Jenica with a mix of surprise and frustration. "JJ? It's three o'clock in the morning, what's going on?"

Ari was out cold. Like chris she had been exhausted from the most recent events. The last thing she remembered was falling asleep before Chris. He had still been up and around doing something in their room. Then later She woke only a little when he put his arm around her.

She was so tired she didnt even dream. She did start to wake up when she heard voices. She sat up slowly. She was wearing an over sized tshirt and underwear. The tshirt was almost long enough to be a nightgown. She blinked at the light and then at the clock. Was it am or pm? Chris sounded annoyed. Her voice came out hoarce and sleepy. " Chris? What its? Whats wrong?"

Jj held up her watch like it would make sense to anyone. "jake is going to do some very dumb things involving very strong drinks. We need to go. Remy is already there.Hurry up sparky we gotta gooooo." She could hear arabella call out to chris. She felt bad for waking them up but she didnt know jake like they did.

Chris was tired and naturally skeptical when his mind hadn't fully woken up. He heard her speak and furrowed his brow quizzically then scoffed. "So you mean to tell me that we have to run out at three am because a guy's getting drunk?"

He then turned to Arabella who had woken up as well, much to Chris' chagrin. He was hoping she could get some rest but felt that wasn't going to happen. "JJ's going on about Jake doing something while drunk, babe." He turned back to Jenica. If there was trouble worth going off half-clothed for, then he'd need more convincing than just drinking.

"Look, JJ, I'm not opposed to helping anyone, but from drunkenness? Is anyone in any real danger here," he asked, partly concerned but still weary. "Elaborate a bit for us."

When she stood pain shot through her legs. Her bandages were starting to seep blood. She sleepily limped behind him and looked at JJ with a sleepy/dopey expression. " JJ please its been a really long week for everyone. We just want to sleep. Explain whats going on and slow down. Did Remy give you a monster? I told him that was a really bad idea." She put a reassuring hand on Chris' arm.

"oh ya know nothing special. Hes just having a frat party for one. I saw two bottles of jaeger and some beer. And by some i mean alot. Like at least 6 but i cant be sure. But hey im sure i cant handle a fully grown and mentally shattered mutant by myself. I just figured you would be more helpful since ya had your own drinking problem."She slapped the watch on her wrist and did the clasp. She started walking down the hall. "Text me his address bella!"

Chris couldn't agree more with Arabella on the topic of sleep and it being a long week. He looked over at her when she placed her hand on his arm and kissed her cheek before turning back to Jenica who followed with explaining how much Jake had drunk then going as far as blurting out the sins of Chris' past. This didn't sit very well with the young man who narrowed his eyes at her. "You trying to guilt me into this now?" When she walked off, he turned to the side and looked at Ari.

"Jake is your friend," he stated, "if you want to help, we will. I'm leaving this one up to you."
