Scott was working on one of the older planes in the Blackbird's hanger bay. It had been approximately a week since the rescuing of kids and starting to sleep in the planes instead of a bedroom. The urge to fly was growing stronger. He really hated the fact Jean left him with her old job as deputy headmaster. He was still thinking over the conversations and interactions he'd seen from Kelly and Loika that were the other side of the spectrum from his own thoughts. Though it had only been five days ago he had spent a lot of time thinking on it and working on fixing things up in the hanger bays.

The blackbird was fully operational and all tuneups had been taken care of. It was later afternoon when he stopped working and went over to the sink to wash his hands. The hanger bay door was wide open to allow the outside breeze to keep the area cool. Shades in place as he stretched out. Hearing popping of several joints from various hunched over or bent at odd angles positions from getting the Blackbird to prestine conditions. "Man...I must be getting old." He said to himself after a few more pops sounded when he straightened up.

Kas didn't like the Institution. It reminded him of someplace he didn't want to go back to, with it's uniformity and rules. The outside was nice to look at, though. He'd been looking at it for a little while now, debating if it was worth going inside to have some questions answered.

A bit of wispy cloud hovering in the air around the huge building and its well-groomed surroundings didn't warrant much notice, at least not while it was doing anything suspicious.
He could have gone in at any time, considering it was hard to put alarms on the doors that detected something that was little more than air passing through the cracks. Though when he saw a huge door open, Kas wondered what was going on in there. It was too big to be just the garage where Loika's crabby ole geezer friend kept his bikes.

"Oh fucking sweet!"
A disembodied voice somewhere above where Scott was taking a bit of a break echoed.
Kas had almost forgotten about the sleek black jet since what seemed like ages ago when he hitched a ride to Syberia to help Loika get her newborn baby out of William Stryker's hands.
The Blackbird looked better than she had even then. Obviously someone had put some time into tuning her up and making her look all sexy and like-new condition. Go figure, it was Mr. ruby-tinted specs himself.

A faint pop was all that gave away his location when Kas dropped out of mist-form. He was an expert at not being found if he didn't want to be. Though right after deactivating his sublimation power, he chuckled, walking over to Scott.
"Niiiice. I forgot this was here. Haven't seen it in a while.. I'm guessin you see more of it than you'd like to though." If Scott wasn't careful he'd have something in common with Logan, and they'd both be living in separate garages with their favorite machines to keep them company.

Scott's spatial awareness alerted him to something or someone there. He just didn't bother to react. It had the same feel as the guy whose comments along with Loika's just spent a long time dancing through his brain. He rubbed his forehead and looked around like he hadn't already pinpointed where the disembodied voice was coming from. Plus he was just feeling way too lazy right now. There was also the logically speaking starting fights wasn't his first priority. Making waves with other X-men's buddies or important people not his area of expertise. That was more Logans. "Should I offer you a drink or laugh at how easily you invaded the hanger bay?" he asked with his best attempt at joking yet still coming out as serious as always.

Hanging off the sides of his hips was a tool belt and a specialty belt full of pilot mechanics tools and handheld tuners or other such devices clipped onto it. "Honestly catching up on a couple years lost time...plus sleeping across from my ex just isn't very comfortable or restful." He said with a grim smile. Looking at Kas. "Kelly right? Loika's friend." A pause before he looked right at him when he became not ghosty wispy like. "Or should I use Kas?" He asked having done a bit of research since drunk hangovers don't make for good memories. Really he didn't care right now. The man was a friend of Loika's and he intended to keep tunnel visioning himself that way until he got to know the man behind all the other rumored shiz.

Walking over to the plane. "Wanna see the inside of my baby?" He asked before falling silent.
