Splintered and beautiful ( R)

Lakai came and went as she pleased. Like a feral pet. She had been hunting MRD since her lover and mate was more occupied with bedrooms of others. She thought she had nipped his digressions in the butt when she murdered the firebreather bitch. She was used to no one wanting her, but Shikon was different as much as she tried to act like he wasnt. He was the only one she needed to need her.

She went out hunting MRD again. She found some juicy information while she was out along with a couple of MRD soldiers. They were getting better training though. They were stronger and tougher than they were before. She was cornered by three in the park. Two were dead. One would be by morning if his unit didnt find him by morning. During her scuffle with them her skin had been cut up a few times from knifes and her leg had been shot.

When she returned to the brotherhood she plopped on the couch and changed back to her human self. She sat naked and looked at the shot on her leg curiously. It was in her thigh. She stuck her finger in the hole and giggled even if it hurt like hell. " Stop that child. You are making a mess. You make a mess and mother will have to punish you." The hallucination of her mother said sternly. To her, her mother was standing across from her. " Your presence is always a punishment.I Learned something tonight mother. The MRD is hunting us. We will all be dead before the snow melts."  She replied and dug her finger into her leg deeper and groaned. The pain was pulling her back to reality. " You need me girl. Without me you are just fucking insane." The blood trickled down her thigh and she grinned. " I've always been fucking insane."

Shikon had been waiting for Lakai to return. He knew for awhile that she had been going out and hunting the thugs that were hunting them. Shikon let her go out and have her fun, blow off steam and anger. While he dulled away his mind with strategies and plans to break the M.R.D. stronghold. He had hit a hard wall, figuratively and literally. So Shikon patiently waited the love of his life. When she returned he watched as she shifted form back to human, and to his dismay was cut, and had a hole in her leg.

He started to go around the corner for the medical cabinet when he heard her speaking to her mother. Of course her mother wasn't there, but Shikon never interrupted the thought process as he had been advised against it several times because it might cause even more damage to Lakai's psyche. He let the conversation run it's course, and when it was done he walked back over to her with a pair of medical pliers. "So how was the chat with your mother?" Shikon asked smiling, and sat down next to her. He saw Lakai was jamming her finger into the wound and he frowned instantly. Shikon gently grabbed her wrist and tried to pull it away. "I take it the bastard who did this is dead or dying? Let me patch you up dear. You know I hate more than anything to see you hurt."

"Tt was insane as usual. I hate the bitch but she just wont go away. The fucker who did this is in pieces. The blood on the snow was beautiful."She didnt fight him when he pulled on her hand but she did start laughing. She licked her own blood from her hand and sat back. Even in her birthday suit it seemed to have no effect on him. They had sex and it was amazing but she still worried that she wasnt enough for him. He easily cast her aside for another. Who was to say he wouldnt do it again. Wished he knew how much she loved him and how much he hurt her.

Shikon laughed loudly at Lakai's comment. He set her hand aside, and took the pliers and gently as he could, pulled the bullet out. It was extremely hard to focus with Lakai having no clothes on. After a few moments of extreme concentration he managed to pull the bullet out.

He looked at her and smiled. Shikon set his hand on her leg and shot a quick blast of fire over the wound. It cauterized and he bandaged it up. He sat back and put his arm around Lakai staring at the ceiling. "Hey Lakai, can I ask you something?" He stared at the ceiling, refusing to make eye contact with Lakai because he knew she would see the weakness in his eyes, and he didn't want her to see that.

Lakai had her head layed back and her eyes closed the entire time he was working on her leg. She stayed straight face like she was getting a massage. She never once flinched or made a sound. She didnt move or speak until he did. When he did she opened her eyes. "This the part where you cant handle my crazy and you break up with me?"

Shikon laughed and shot a look over at Lakai. "Give me some slack babe. I love you way too much, plus we're all crazy, you just display yours openly." Shikon leaned over and was staring into her mismatched eyes, grinning. "What I was going to ask you was if you knew I loved you?"

Shikon leaned in quickly and kisses Lakai quickly, roughly, and passionately. "And if you didn't know I think you should."

Lakai moved quickly onto his lap and pinned him where he sat. She grabbed his hair and used it to force his head back. She bit and kissed his neck as passionate as he kissed her. She kissed his mouth then forced him to look at her. "You dont defend me. I had to watch you fuck another woman before me and i had to watch you enjoy every minute of it. Do you think i feel loved? You continued to see her after i said no. I dont regret killing her and ill kill again if needed. I smell arousal on the new bitch thana once around you and ill kill her. Her little fucktart friend keeps calling me your stalker.You dont understand what it is to be half wolf. You are not just my boyfriend. You are mine. You are my mate."

Shikon listened carefully and grinned slyly. He waited for her to finish then rolled over pinning her. "I didn't know you were there! And I thought you hated me! I only hung out with her because we were friends! Lakai you are my mate, and my favorite person." He kissed her deeply and grinned. "What is it going to take for you to have a little trust in me again dammit?"

A few tears rolled before she shut them off her badass self. "You shouldnt have to know i was there. I had to wait a year for you and still got someone's sloppy seconds."His kiss shut her up momentarily. She stared up at him with a look of anger and arousal.If he was going to play that way... she rubbed against him in all the right places and kissed his neck. "Start treating me like your girl and your mate. Stick up for me once in a while. Take me with you when you do shit. You sneak off after that little bitch again ill kill her."Her anger was getting the best of her and she was loosing touch with reality again like a fraying thread ready to snap.

Shikon snarled at Lakai. His arms erupted into flames. "Woman what don't you understand? You are my mate! Do you think I'd come in and dig a bullet out of anyone else? No, I throw them the kit, tell them to suck it up and not do terribly the next time! I treat you different from everyone else! You are the one I do all this for! I throw myself into fights for you, I kill others all to keep you safe! Do you not understand that? I am the Alpha, and it is my job to protect the pack, that's what the Alpha does Lakai! I kill for you and the other, I fight for you and the others. I do this for you!"

Shikon rarely raised his voice, and it was ever rarer for it to be directed at Lakai. "Lakai I go off alone and hunt the people who hunt us because I don't want you to get hurt! The others I care about, but not nearly as much as I do for you. If I saw you get seriously injured, or gods forbid you died...I'd lose it! I'd go so far off the rails no amount of therapy or drugs could fix it. I would hunt down anyone who had ever crossed you or hurt you and I'd murdered them! This is why I hunt alone, I hunt alone so that you never have to see me get seriously injured or died! I wouldn't want you to go through that! You are the one thing that keeps me sane in this world Lakai!" Shikon's arms were still ablaze, and the flames scorched the couch and ceiling. Tears brimmed up to his eyes and he blinked them away. The tears were a mixture of anger and sadness.

Lakai rolled her eyes and feigned being unimpressed. She sat back on the couch with her legs wider than a lady should be sitting. " If you are my alpha act like it. Treat me like your equal. Take me on hunts. I need it as much as you do. We are fucking mutants, We are always going to be in fucking danger. You wanna impress me, or better yet control me? Do it. Assert your dominance. Put me in my place every once in a while." She sat up on the couch on her knees and leaned forward, grinning at him with a mixture of seduction and insanity. " Dominate me. Al-PHA. Your tantrums and yelling do nothing.Show me. "

Something inside Shikon snapped at the moment. He lost the control he usually possessed. Lakai had dragged him to the edge and then pushed him over. He leaned his face in close to hers and whispered, no pitch in his voice, his voice was cold and void of anything. "Very well, you want me to dominate then I shall."

Shikon grabbed her wrist and kissed her quickly and forcefully. He stood up still holding her wrist. "Come with me. Keep in mind Lakai, I'm not asking you I'm telling you." Shikon made a move to start moving to the stairs. It was up to Lakai if she came willingly, if not Shikon was simply going to drag her the stairs.

Lakai looked him back in the eyes defiantly. The kiss was hard and rough. She fuckin loved it. His hold on her wrist only intensified how worked up she felt. She watched that sexy ass walk away like prey she wanted to pounce. She was still feeling high on the sexy power though. This game was fun.

She remained on the couch. She bit her index finger seductively and looked at him with a sexy smoldering. "Uh oh I didnt follow. Im a bazaar fuckin girl."

Shikon watched her out of the corner of his eye and scoffed. This is the way Lakai wanted it, he was going to show that he was the strongest, and that he was not to be trifled with. "I said come with me Lakai." He merely used his strength to pull her off the couch. He kisses her again rougher.

He smirked slightly, and pulled her behind him. "If you enjoy those kisses so much then you're going to enjoy what's happening next." he pulled her behind not caring too much if she was falling behind, and he was at the bottom of the stairs waiting.

The game was pleasing. She loved playing games with people. Shikon was no exception. Though she liked to play differently with him. It thrilled her when he pulled her off of the couch and kissed her. She practically growled in delight when he kissed her and dragged her towards the stairs. " Oh sugar i can only imagine what you have in store for me." She playfully attempted to pull her arm out of his grasp.

Shikon smirked slightly and tightened his grip on her wrist when he felt her try to pull away. "Now now. None of that." He waved a finger from side to side making tsk sound. He then proceeded to pull her up the stairs. When he got to their room he stopped and let go of her hand and simply walked in. He made no move to close the door. "Don't just stand there." He said with his back turned to her. He simply took his shirt and threw it on the floor. Then he turned around and stared at Lakai. Waiting.

She resisted walking up the stairs every step of the way. Being a thorn in his side was fun right now. He would understand how much torment he put her through. In their room she watched him take his shirt off. She wanted that body but she wanted it to be hers. Just hers. She crossed her arms over her chest and smirked defiantly. "What do you expect me to do hmm?"

Shikon calmly and confidently walked over to Lakai and grabbed her hands. He put them on his chest and looked into her eyes. "You know exactly what I want." Shikon smirked again and winked. Then he kisses Lakai roughly. He was going to show her what happened when she let the beast run free from its cage.

She could feel the heat coming off of him. She loved her hot man, literally. But did he love her. He seemed so screw around with that bitch alot. She wad throen off when he kissed her roughly. When he was done she cocked her head to the side. "I dont think i do know sugar lips."

Shikon rolled his eyes and pulled Lakai into the room then closed the door locking before turning back to her. "The only thing I want you to do for me babe is to let me show you how much I really love you. I'm going to do things that I'd only do with you." He walked back over to her and pulled her close to him. He kissed her again then bit her hard enough on her neck that she felt it, but not so hard that it broke the skin.

Her eyes glowed when he bit her. She really really liked it. She loved pain in all forms. It made her feel alive. She growled and giggled. "Words my love. All very pretty words that mean nothing without actions."Nothing would make her happy than to screw shikon and be his only girl. How many others were sharing his kisses? She would kill anyone for him. 

Shikon grinned and looked her. "And that's why the only thing you have to do is let me show you." He kissed her roughly again and moved to her cheek then her neck. Then just where her shirt showed the bit of her chest. Then he moved his hands to her sides and put his hands on her sides under her shirt. "Are you ready?"

Lakai tried not to react though it was all she wanted all along. She wanted attention and affection from shikon. She wanted an effort from him. She wanted him. She slipped up though and bit her lip. "You know ive been ready for a long time my flame."

FADE TO BLACK

Shikon laid there yawning with his arms behind his head. He looked over at Lakai and smiled. It had been a long half of the day, and even longer night. He got up and closed the curtains before the sunlight made him sick to his stomach. He yawned loudly and realized that he was more tired than he had thought.

Lakai laid next to him in bed, exhausted from the stress of the day and what he did with her at night. She was entirely nude except for the bandage on her thigh from the bullet. She was barely covered with the blankets. It only showed the scars from her cuts all the more. She slept soundly though. Deeper than she had in a very long time. She didnt even stir when he got up and closed the curtains. In her sleep her face looked innocent and sweet like the young lady she actually was and not the life toughened young woman she had become after years of hard drugs and poor relationship choices.
