licking my wounds ( nc17)

Jake sat in his garage with a coffee in one hand and a hand splint on the other one. He was sitting on his work bench looking at the car he destroyed. He couldnt even get himself to regret doing it. All he could do was sit there and survey the damage. All of the glass and loose metal had been cleaned up. Now all was left was a destroyed car that looked like it was in a major accident.

He reached down and patted Jax on the head with a cigarette hanging in the corner of his mouth. Alot of good that all did. Now he didnt have a car or his girl. He probably shouldnt even be alive at this point. He drank enough he could have easily died. Instead he woke up in his bed with a headache and his hand hurting like hell with no memory of the night leading up to that point. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed before drinking his coffee.

Damn boys and their drinking and not having phones . Thana , previously , the night before had figured out Jake has never got her message because his mate and hers . Bella. Had kept his phone , by the time that was figured out Jake had been well and truly passed out after his attempt at poisoning via alcohol. 

Several hours later Thana had cleaned up as best she could while he was out before crashing on his couch, where she remained still. Asleep with just her black short style undies and her t shirt on underneath the doona she had gotten and a pillow from a cupboard . Messy hair and a marked arm outstretched and her phone on the table Thana slept and dreamed aimlessly . Unawares Jake was up, or that he hadn't noticed her when he walked past.

Jake set his coffee down and went to work on the car. It took some work getting the hood to open. When he was checking damage under the hood he didn't notice jax wander back into the house. He assumed the dog was sleeping under his bench again. The dog had really went inside to thana and started licking her face to wake her up.

Thana woke to a wet tongue licking her and she smiled and gently pushed Jax away , " Morning Jax." She said, rolling out of bed and landing on the floor before getting up and going to the garage looking for Jake. She found him , and luckily had put her shorts back on from the night before . Not knowing what else to do she waited a little bit on the seat before clearing her throat . " Uhh Jake?" She said, not wanting to scare him . Her crinkled shirt and messy hair showing she had stayed the night .

Jake stood up quickly and banged his head on the hood. He groaned and dropped his wrench. It didn't help his massive hang over at all. He stepped back from the car and looked over at her. "Great. Ive stopped hallucinating things i hate now im hallucinating things i love. Someone up there really freakin hates me." He backed against the wall as the hood on the car slammed down. Jax looked at them both like they were his favorite people in the world.

thana   raised an eyebrow at Jake, " No your not hallucinating , though I don't think that head bang helped you from your attempt at alcohol poisoning last night. Which by the way spew is gross to clean up Jake, please don't do it again ." Thana responded , watching him. " And for your info I didn't leave without saying goodbye, I had texted and called but didn't know Bells had your phone. And I never ended up leaving ... But I'm sorry I hurt you and tried to leave ." Thana said softly, " If you don't want to see me again I Understand ."

Jake let out a loud bellow that sounded like pain. He pushed off of the wall and kicked the headlight barefooted so hard it broke. " This is not a game-i am not a game! I know you find it hard to believe but i love you! All of you! Your body, your heart. All of it! To love someone like this after natalie scares the shit out of me!" He looked like a broken man on the verge of tears.

"I wasnt trying to kill myself! I was trying to get the pain to stop!If you can't stand the thought of being with me. If you have to run away from me. You better tell me now. Because if i get anymore attached im fucked."He panted and sweated a little while catching his breath.

Thana listened as Jake spoke, his anger and fear making her take a step back. But otherwise she stood her ground. "Jake I'm not trying to run away from you!" She said, "And for gods sake stop kicking things! I'm not trying to run away from you I LOVE YOU TOO!"

Moving over to him Thana looked at Jake, "I didn't want to go and never ended up leaving I didn't know Bells had your phone! I'm not trying to run away , I'm still here."  Thana said, "I'm not leaving, not again. I'm here and your stuck with me."

Jake stook there as her words sunk in. He felt horrible for frightening her. He was already scared of loosing her. He was a player but he hadnt tried this hard for a girl in a very long time. His head snapped up when she said he loved him. He closed the space between them quickly and kissed her fiercely like he had wanted to since they met. He picked her up and sat her on his workbench as continued to kiss her mouth and neck like a desperate man in the dessert who just found water. He tried not to get to handsy with her but his hand did slip occationally.

Thana gasped as Jake closed the space between them and kissed her in one go. Her first kiss. Damn it wasn't bad either, she let out a soft giggle as he moved her to his workbench and let the kissing happen. Kissing back where she could when his beautiful lips returned to hers, grateful that his hand only dipped occasionally. It seemed it was all happening in one go.

"Woah." She said softly, and wrapped her hands around his neck but pulled back slightly. Thana smiled up at him, even on the bench he was taller then her. "Not quite so fast Jake." She said, getting her breath back. That was a pretty amazing first kiss. And it was with someone she liked. No, someone she loved.

Jake panted and rested his head against her. He was glad she pushed him away. She needed to know it was okay to say when her limit was. It was all he needed. He was still shaking but he was calming down. He stroked her cheeks with his thumbs. " I love you. I wouldnt hurt you." Was all he said. His voice was gentle and kind. As much as he wanted more he was beyond satisfied with what he got.

Thana smiled, glad he was okay with her pushing him away. And leant in to his touch, how did he know her favourite parts that she didn't even know she liked ? The feeling was amazing. " I love you too . And I know you wouldnt . I want to, and soon, and with you." Thana said, " I just need a little time ... But I want to ." She promised, gently resting her hand on his. 

Thana felt safe, safe and happy and that was rare. " I have something to show you... " she said softly, smiling up at him. She was ready to show him her gift, like she knew she was ready for Jake. Not quite yet but Thana was ready to accept that Jake was perfect for her. He was kind, gentle, caring. And he loved her for who she was, scars, history and all

Jake finally looked up at her curiously. The last time a girl said she had to show him something it was a used pregnancy test. Luckily he didnt have to worry about that with thana. Though he got a little excited when she said soon. Soon was good he liked soon. But only if she was ready. "What is it that you want to show me?"

Thana smiled softly, and reached behind her and turned the lights off so they were in a darker room. Then she closed her now outstretched palm for a moment, only a moment before opening it. A blue sphere appeared in her palm, sending out a beautiful glow in the darkness. She smiled, "I promised you I would show you my gift when I was ready. I'm ready." Thana explained, leaning up and giving him a kiss. "Energy Sourcer." She whispered before planting another kiss on his lips. Quite comfy on the table actually.

He watched im awe as she made a ball of energy. "Amazing..."It was beautiful. She was beautiful. He was so wrapped up in what she was doing that he didnt notice she was leaning to kiss him until her lips were on his. He let out a groan as he kissed her back. He stroked her hair and slowly cut off the kiss. "Oh darlin what are you doing to me."

Thana blushed softly and smiled, but tipped her head up and kept kissing until Jake cut it off and looked up at him and smiled. "I don't know, what are you doing to me?" She answered back, "Your bringing out happiness I didn't know I had. "

Thana kept smiling, and kept the orb there. Closing her eyes for a moment and focusing. The outer shell of the orb became solid. While the inside kept its natural energy source. "I kept yours, its only fair you have one from me." Thana told him, smiling and giving him another small peck on the lips before handing the now semi solid orbs.

" You are awakening the happiness i thought was dead forever." Her watched in amazement as she made the orb a solid object and give it to him.  He held it in his hand and stared at it. It meant alot to him. One moment he thought he lost her forever, the next he was nestled against her receiving gifts one could only dream of. " I dont deserve this baby. Ive been an asshole and childish. I dont deserve your love either. Ill cherish them both. Thank you." He looked up at her with his hair all messy and his face in need of shaving. He looked like hell but still managed a small smile for her.

Thana smiled and gently pushed a piece of hair out of his face, yes he could of used a shower and looked like hell but he was beautiful to her. "No, we both made a few mistakes. Me for running, you for smashing your car. " Thana said, smiling back up at him.

"Lets get you cleaned up, go take a shower and have a shave. I'll clean up the rest of the mess in here. Go." Thana lovingly ordered, pushing herself off the bench. She had already begun to clean everything up the night before, his sick bits were done and his sheets from this morning already in the wash. It was just her nature to clean up even if most of the time she detested cleaning.

"Alright babe. You're getting pretty domestic on me. Its pretty hot." He kissed her once more before stepping back out of her way. He could kiss her and do other similar activities with her all day. But she was right. Time to clean up.

He took off his shirt at the doorway connecting the house to the garage. "Ill take you out to Mel's for lunch but i gotta stop and get my phone from bell's first. We can take the bike since the charger is a little rough."He winked at her and headed into the bathroom.

Thana smiled and kissed him back, "I wouldn't complain darling, I like to keep things clean and have non destroyed cars and puke." She said, smiling and looking at that amazing body of his when he took the shirt off. Oh he knew she looked she always did.

"Sounds good to me, say hi to everyone at the School for me. " she answered, smiling and picking up the last few things on the ground. "I want to check your hand out later, make sure the bandage is still good. You did a doozy last night." Thana told him over her shoulder. She knew better then to re organise a guys garage, it was his domain. Hell she knew her garage was her domain, instead she simply put the tools he had used last night to ruin his car. Oh well least he could rebuild it.
