Chris was rendered unconscious relatively quickly as it was the only way to stop his attack on the facility. With him no longer a threat, the MRD went to work doing as they were asked from Isaac by cleaning him up and relocating him to another cell though with the same protocols. They checked the IV keeping him down and, once satisfied, left the room and stood guard outside in case anything happened that they would need to attend to in a hurry before things got way out of hand.
--- Seth ---
Seth regarded the Directors words with a furrowed brow. He didn't like anyone speaking to him in such a manner and would have loved to knock the man's teeth down his throat for saying it but he held his tongue and his temper. The man wasn't there to knock the MRD Director around, but to save his brother and future sister-in-law along with their child. Nothing mattered more to him than getting them out of there before they could use them to annihilate the mutant species: especially since it would include his own annihilation as well.
"Don't be so stand-offish, Petkov," he replied calmly, "I won't be here long. It's red tape - you know how things are in Washington. I wouldn't be here if I had a choice as I have faith in your capabilities, otherwise I'd have never turned my brother in, now would I? Don't forget I'm the one that led you to him, otherwise you'd have never got him."
Without another word, he nodded to the men with him as they moved down toward Chris' cell escorted by MRD. Once at the cell, the door was unlocked to allow him inside and as he moved in, he caught sight of the others following. "Give me a minute with my brother alone, please? I'm unarmed and not a threat." After receiving a few nods, Seth walked inside and moved to his brother shaking his head at the sight. Though the blood was gone, the evidence remained.
"Hey, Chris," he said softly, resting a hand on the side of the bed and looking down at his little brother whispering. "It's going to be okay. You've gotta trust me. I said I'd help you and I am... I'm supposed to." He looked behind him and made eye contact with one of the Army men that came in with him who proceeded to attack the two men outside the door allowing Seth to turn off the IV drip and pull it from Chris' arm then hoisted his brother onto his shoulders and walked out of the room with him before lying him on the ground in the hall and smacking him lightly on the cheeks. "Wake up, Chris! I can't carry your ass all the way and we'll need your firepower."
