Living Just Fine (R)

Gavin stood on top of the statue. Balancing on one foot. Looking down, the expression 'They look like ants...' finally made sense. He couldn't see much. Just the birds that climbed up to where he was. He could hear some people talking. Down on the head of miss liberty. A fine monument in the middle of manhattan. Truly interesting the way the french just gave it away. Well, Blade was not the best at history. But he read some books. Not the best ones, but they did entertain him. Blade sat down, looking at the horizon. "Man, living is tiring..."

Luna had shifted into a dove and flew around. She spots Blade at the statue and flew down next to him not shifting back, just looks at him with her bright blue eyes. Living is tiring huh? Of course it is, Blade....Understand that. She thinks and just chirps like a dove does. It's slightly odd that a dove would be here with bright blue eyes so she hopes Blade would recognize it's her. She looks at the other birds which look at her weirdly and fly off. Weird how birds don't like me either...meh. She can just imagine her human self, shrugging her shoulders.

Blade heard a noise, and looked behind him. Stupid birds... Gavin looked back at the horizon, when a familiar smirk spread across his dark face. Many people were hungry, and although a dove wasn't much, it'd help. Blade took a gun out a placed it in front of the battering sun. "Clean and black as ever." He loaded it, and looked back at the bird. Weird eyes...wonder if it stole some contact...shut up Blade. He thought.  "Hey little fella..." He said, in an ironical tone. Blade pointed his gun at the bird and quickly heard the bullet slide out. It was directed towards the animal's leg. After he heard the shot, he instantly jumped towards the bird as well. The animal wasn't gonna escape.

Luna see's him aim the gun at her and her eyes widen. SHIT! Didn't think this through! She tries to fly off but he shoots her leg, causing her body to shake and she slowly and painfully shifts back into her normal form. ''You crazy son of a bitch!? Do you just shoot everything!?'' She growls at him and holds her leg which is bleeding a lot. She mutters a swear word and feels the animals inside her go mental, they see the blood and she licks her lips trying to fight off the animals. ''Ah fuck. This hurts.'' She rips off the bottom of her t-shirt making it more of crop top and wraps it above the wound to stop most of the bleeding. She was thankful she wore shorts. She looks at the wound, thinking about what to do. She can't stand hospitals and didn't really want to go to anyone as that would mean she'd have to make them not to tell she was there.

Gavin let out a small chuckle. "Well that's what you get for not being careful. At least talk next time." He said, still smirking. He took out his katana and pointed it, at the now human Luna. "You got lucky. That's one of my slow bullets. C'mon, I'll take it out." Gavin was experienced in doing that. Not only to other people, but himself also. Blade looked down on Luna's leg, and was enjoying seeing the blood flow down. But he quickly snapped back and looked at her again. "So calm down. After that I can get you something to put on the wound and you'll get back to full health."

Luna grins at him. ''I was a freaking bird? never knew they can talk!'' She says with a roll of her eyes. She see's him pull at the katana and she doesn't even feel scared. She nods at him to tell him to do it. She bites her bottom lip, looking at the blood. ''I swear i am calm. Thanks Blade...now could you just get it over and done with?'' She gives a slight smile and looks at the blood again with a tilted head, she felt entranced by her own blood as the slow flow went down her leg.

"This will only take a bit. I just gotta cut your leg out." He said, chuckling. "Don't worry. I'm kidding. This will be quick and painless...or maybe not so painless." He ripped the part of the top, on top of Luna's leg, and made his katana enter the small wound. Feeling the bulled on the other point of his mighty sword, Blade swiftly used the katana to bring it a bit up. Afterwards, he sheated his katana, and took the bulled with his own hand. "Here you are, you little homicidal item." He threw the bullet into the river, riped the sleeve of his jacket. "This will make the wound be better much faster than a top." He finished saying, making the ripped sleeve press Luna's leg together.

Luna just rolls her eyes at Blade and hisses slightly, causing her teeth to clamp down on her bottom lip.  She see's him throw the bullet in the river and she sighs in relief. She see's him rip off the sleeve of his jacket and she smirks. ''I guess i owe you a jacket then.'' She laughs. ''Thanks Blade...Or should i thank you seeing as you were the ass who shot me in the first place.'' Her smirks grows and she raises an eyebrow. She hisses a little as she moves her leg into a more comfortable position.

Luna laughs and nods. ''Thanks Blade for not cutting off my leg.'' She smirks and grabs the pieces of jacket. ''Will do. Thanks again and i'm up here 'cause it's a place where i can leave my memories behind and be free.'' She looks at him with an eyebrow raised. ''Why are you here and why did you help me anyway?'' She asks curiosity getting the best of her.

Luna nods. ''This place is very relaxing...'' She smiles and looks up at him. ''Hate to have to go to hospital and explain how i got shot...'' She laughs. ''Akkie's good. The last time i saw him was when you almost shot my ear. This is becoming a habit of you almost shooting me.'' She smirks and laughs some more.

Blade lifted up his glasses a bit. "I advise you not to go to the hospital. Won't be fun healing a mutant. They'll call a sentinel on your ass...anyway, don't worry about it. I'm sure someone at Xavier's can help you." He said, riping the sleeves of his shirt off. His tattoos could be seen, lively as ever. His snake felt like it was moving, as did his skull. His arms were cleaned from scars. The only reason for this was his healing factor. It healed those wounds so fast, he didn't get any scar. "When's Akkie...ya know, gonna get a chance to get inside your pants?" He said, chuckling quite a bit.

Luna smiles. ''Wasn't planning on going anyway. I hate hospitals. It's hard but not a problem to delete myself from their databases. I don't want help from the people in Xaviers. They don't care.'' She shrugs and then see's his tattoos. She noticed how he had no scar's. ''Nice tattoo's. You're kinda lucky you don't get scar's. People don't look at you suspiciously.'' She takes off her leather jacket to reveal a white tank top which she ripped so it now looks like a crop top. She shows her arms and there's scar's all the way up them and a tattoo on her right forearm saying 'I'm learning to be brave from my beautiful mistakes and on her rib, a bleeding rose with the words 'Why is something so beautiful a danger?' linking to the nickname she got when she did her fighting. She hears his question and blushes. ''Blade! Who knows? We'll see how far it goes and if i can control my animal urges. The animals in me already want to and it's hard to control it. Everything he does causes my body to react to his every movement so the animals just go nuts.'' She shrugs and smiles, tracing the rose she actually draw herself.

Luna looks at him with her own eyebrow raised. ''Of course i'll treat him right...and you never really told me about your powers Blade. What are they? You seem to have a lot.'' She asks and then nods looking at the floor. ''I'm controlling them better than i was.'' She hears the story and her eyes widen, she looks at him. ''H-how old was the girl, Blade and where did you see her? What did you do to the guy as well?'' She asks with urgency lacing her voice.

Gavin chuckled at Luna. "How funny it is when people don't know squat about you, but you know a lot about them. I'm mostly made of fire, and I can destroy people with the power of my mind." He said, clearly joking. "I also have the power to extend my body parts. All of them..." Blade said afterwards. 

Gavin looked back at Luna, his eyes were a bit darker, still covered by his glasses. "Don't know her age. Just know she was next to some cheap whore club. I ripped the fucker apart. Other than that, nothing else happened." He said, keeping the other part of the story away from Luna.

Luna rolls her eyes at him and grins at him. ''You know a lot about me? Creepy shit right there.'' She smirks. ''Pretty cool powers, Blade.'' She hears his explanation of the story and freezes a little. ''You pinned him to the wall, broke his neck and then ripped his head off, didn't you? You wore a gas mask when it happened.'' She looks at him, face serious and eyes turning a molten gold. ''She was thirteen years old.'' She says still looking at him.

Gavin looked curiously down on Luna. "Yeah... I usually used that mask back in the old days. How do you know the girl's age Luna?" Asked Blade, getting more curious. Something strange was happening. Even Luna's tone was different. Her eyes looked different as well. Although Blade still didn't see what was happening. He wasn't sure who that girl was. He knew Misty probably knew, but Blade simply didn't care back then.

Luna looks up at him. ''Possibly because i was that girl, Blade or should i say 'Sir'?'' She says 'Sir' in a little girls voice that matched the one from when she was 13. Her gold eyes matched the ones from when they entered that building, shining harshly as if trying to make the person who stare's remember her eyes only. ''I guess time changes a person, Blade.'' She says with a small smirk. She hoped he would now remember that the little girl did mutter her name at one point.

Blade didn't really cared about what he had done in the past. Even if in the future, the past would come back form him. He still ruled his own life, so he'd only care for the things he wished to care for. "Huh, so Akkie wouldn't be the first to try you. You've already been depurified. That's too bad. At least you don't need to have any sorrow about it. Since I killed the guy." He saidm with a small grin in his face.

Luna sighs. ''I guess so. I never forgot you or that day. I just didn't know it was you. If you didn't kill that guy...i'd have probably found him myself later to kill the bastard.'' She gives him a giant grin. ''Who knows maybe I ain't won't be the first to try out Akkie.'' She laughs and moves her leg feeling less pain which caused her to smile.

Gavin felt a bit astonished. But that was his usual self. Killing bastards here and there. "Well, you sho-..." Blade was cut off by his earphone. "Blade get your ass over here." Blade was left to wander what Maia wanted, as she quickly cut the communications short. "Well Luna, I gotta go. See ya'round." Said Blade, smirking. He got up, and turned to Luna. He let himself fall on his back, and fall down from the statue. He landed on his feet, scaring off some people, and quickly jumping on the sewers. Wonder what she wanted...

Luna grins and nods. ''See ya, Blade.'' She smirks to herself and shifts into a dove again. She flies off noticing Blade scared the people down below causing her to laugh. She went back to her warehouse and landed on the bed, shifting back. She pulls some paper on her lap and just made notes. She wondered for a short amount of time what was going on at the sewers but she shrugged and went back to work.
