Rather Early (R)

The bike pulled up in front of the School. Gavin got off, and placed his helmet on his seat. He turned off the bike, looking at Cameron. "Here it is. Big ain't it?" He asked playfully. He leaned against the wall, waiting for Cameron to get off the bike. "I do hope they accept you well. I know Jason will. He's the headmaster. Pretty sure he'll be friendly towards you, so no worries." Blade exclaimed again. He took his pil and swalled it dry. He coughed lightly, but was able to take his sunglasses off. Much better...

Luna was doing her early morning flying as a dove, seeing Blade and some girl. She shakes her bird head and landed on the floor looking up at him. She shifts into her normal self, her brown her reaching her waist and her bright gold eyes looking at Blade. ''You need to come at better times, Blade. First at midnight with me and now early morning with another girl.'' She turns to the girl and smiles slightly. ''Hi I'm Luna. No one was expecting newbies. Blade just likes to drop people off here like trash and walk away.'' She grins at him and puts her hands on her hips. ''Jason won't like the fact you came at a bad time...again.'' She just shakes her head.

"You should have a problem with Jason, he doesn't like unexpected visitors...especially this late at night." said Peter as he saw the entire ordeal before he teleported to the scene. Peter had no problem against new members joining the school. In fact, he had little to no say in a matter. All of it rested in hands of Mr. Andrews and the staff, whom Peter rarely argued with, if not at all. The only person he could argue with was Loika and even then, he'd probably end up losing that battle.

"Hi, name is Peter Jackson," he introduced himself. Turning to Luna, Peter looked at her, smiling. "When Jason comes down to the gate, we better get out...I swear you won't hear the end of what he has to say."

Loika came down in her pajamas . Basically cotton shorts and a tanktop. She did not appreciate being woken up this early. If they woke up the girls she would bash heads. She wandered up to Peter with her arms crossed across her chest and looked at the newcomers outside of the gate. She looked up at him sleepily. " Babe? whats going on out here? What is all this noise about? What is HE doing here?"

Cameron was a little overwhelmed when they were joined by two others who did not seem all that thrilled that they were there this early. They certainly didn't seem too keen on Blade being there, either. Maybe it would have been better if I would have taken his offer to stay the remainder of the night at the colony... Cameron looked nervously at Blade before looking back at the one who introduced himself as Peter Jackson. She didn't look away from him when she strongly, yet quietly said, "I'm Cameron. Cameron Andrews." She felt herself start to tremble with the want to get away. This place was supposed to be safe for ones like me... 
 
 
She finally broke her look at Peter and looked away. "I'm sorry to inconvenience all of you. Blade said this was a safe place for mutants, and I have no where else to go... So, he brought me here. Perhaps we can come back later when it's a better time," she said humbly. Cameron was trying to defuse the situation before anything happened. She didn't want what little peace she had found at being accepted as her real self to be shattered so soon. Nor did she want any harm to come to the one who had helped her and brought her here for her own safety and well-being.

Gavin looked over at Peter. He had met the kid in several other ocasions. Not all of them the best. Hell, they usually were always bad. But Blade thought he was somehow happier, after noticing he already had the girl he was looking for beside him.

"Well Peter...this girl had no where else to go." Blade said, looking at Loika. "...I wasn't simply gonna let her sleep on the street. And I would've called earlier...but I guess earlier would be even worst." He frowned. "And wolf girl, I have a name. Best damn well use it." Blade's mind suddenly went to day he had met Loika. He was in a bad mood, and Mel's just seemed like a place that wouldn't care about it much. Their first meeting was not that pleasent either.

Blade looked over at Cameron, now noticing her full name. Weird. She's got the same last name as Jason. It could be a coincidence. But then again, Gavin was not gonna make a big fuss about it. "Hey Cameron, you're staying. It's not such a problem for these guys. They can show the school around when it gets a little later..." Gav was being sincere, what problem would they have? And Jason would surely understand Gavin could not have called the school in advance at such hour either. But Cameron couldn't sleep on the road. What kind of heartless bastard would let that happen.

Luna see's Loika and smiles and then turns to the boy named Peter. ''You got that right...I ain't getting on his bad side. Who knows what he could do.'' She then turns to Cameron with a slight smirk. ''Good to know Blade here talks about me.'' She laughs slightly. ''Nice to meet ya Cameron. I'll be your guide this afternoon if you wish.'' She notices the girl start to tremble a little and her animals feel the urge to comfort her. She pushes them back. She notices Loika is sleepy and that she doesn't really like Blade. Huh...Wonder why. Probably ask during one of training sessions. She thinks to herself and looks at them all. ''Cameron. I hope you do stay...but that is up to Jason.'' She nods her head at her with a smile.

Loika let loose a growl. " Funny. You want me to call you by your name yet you call me wolf girl. And threatening me is no way to get me to open the gate you chicken shit." She was no longer in sleep mode. She was fully awake and fully agitated. She gripped  Peter's hand tightly. " I dont know why you suddenly have so much interest in us but i assure you. You harm ANYONE here and you wont live to see another sunrise. Comprende?" She and wolverine both had that animalistic instinct to trust no one and stand their ground on their territory. Something was off about this guy. He suddenly comes out of no where and then hes everywhere the xmen were? Something didnt smell right to Loika.

Loika was squeezing peter's hand so hard now that she could possibly break a bone if she squeezed any harder. She was trying harder these days to control her anger. Mackenzie was having enough issues as it was behaving herself without seeing mommy loose it frequently. She took some deep breaths and reached out to touch the gate security system. The gate was already locked. She pushed a button and the bars became electrified. " No one comes in until Jason gives the okay. You keep dropping off people at a place you hate? Nuh Uh. For all we know you are planting moles."

Loika let go of peter's hand forcefully. " Thats it you stupid ass piece of shit. RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW." She marched up to the gate in her pajamas and slammed her hand on the pad. It unlocked and opened enough for her to slip through. She slammed the pad on the way out and the gate clicked closed behind her, just barely missing her.


Once in front of Cameron and Blade she shifted into her wolf form and let out a long howl. Her pajamas fell to the ground. Her lips pulled back to show her fangs all the way up to her gums as she let out a snarl.

"Dammit Loika, stop it!" said Peter, rather loudly. That was sure to wake up Jason, but he didn't care. Peter couldn't be bothered with the electric gates right now, so he bent them outward and walked out to meet Loika. "Why do you have the need to start shit with everyone. Come on, let's get out of here. I feel like Jason will be coming out any minute now. Let's go!" said Peter as he attempted to pick her up in his arms, like a puppy. But she was far from a puppy.  Peter stood in front of Blade, "You'll have to excuse her, she hasn't had her cup of coffee yet today. She's still sleeping." said Peter, trying to get Loika moving.

Jason was awaken by loud talking outside, he looked next to him, Sara was sleeping. He wasn't going to wake her up and just deal with the problem himself. This was getting way too far. Pulling his curtain to the side, Jason saw almost everyone was outside. Loika, Peter, Luna, good thing Katt and Mackie weren't.

Jason rubbed his eyes tiredly, and looked at the alarm clock on his dresser, it red 4:30 am. What normal people woudl show up to someone's house at this hour. The sun was going to break out soon and the city will wake up. Couldn't be said the same for Jason. He quickly pulled on his pants and then grabbed his jacket, wearing it on top of a white t-shirt.

He couldn't be bothered with dressing up properly. Not right now anyway. Kissing Sara on a forehead, Jason finally departed downstairs and outside. Walking out at the front porch, Jason tightened his jacket as the wind made him cold. "Alright, everyone..." said Jason, still looking tired. "Back to your rooms. That includes you Loika and Peter as well."

Looking at the two strangers, Jason recognized Blade, but not the girl with him. "You are going to have to destroy that bad habbit of you showing up at the strangest of hours." said Jason, "I didn't mind the first time you showed up late, but this is getting little a bit radiculous." Jason looked at everyone not moving. "Peter, Loika and Luna get back to your rooms." said Jason again, turning to look at Blade again. "What is it this time, Mr. Cooper. You better have a good excuse for showing up this late."

Loika growled and wiggled in Peter's arms. She was sick of this bastard and his self proclaimed arrogance. She licked Peter's cheek though and quieted down when Jason came outside. She let Peter carry her. " Peter dont leave my pajamas. I love those pajamas. I dont care if you dont like me wearing clothes to bed those werent cheap!" She blabbed in an annoyed manner like no one was around to hear.

Gavin was not surprised to see Loika have her breaking point. "It's alright Peter. I understand. Probably shouldn't have pushed the girl either." Loika seemed to be a bit easier to piss off, now that she had returned. It didn't bother Blade, but he didn't want to see Cameron getting scared or anything. "Get her o-..."

Gavin was about to talk again, when he noticed Jason arrive. "Trying to do that Mr. Jason." He said, still looking at Loika. Mr. Cooper? It's seems he read my mind. Ironically, I don't mind. "Well, I would've come later, or called. If this girl had a place to stay." He said, pointing at Cameron, finally looking at Jason. "She's Cameron Andrews. A mutant of course. She needs a place to stay, maybe for a long time. You can simply take her in and go back to resting. And I shall leave as well. This won't take half of your time."

Cameron backed away as the situation quickly escalated. She felt like it was her fault. I should have been more careful... If I would have just kept my mutations hidden, none of this would be happening...

Her attention was grabbed by yet another person who told the others to go back to their rooms and then addressed Blade about his habit of coming at such inopportune times. She looked up as Blade introduced her to the man. When he told the man, Jason, about how he could simply take her and he would be on his way, Cameron's brown eyes brimmed with tears against her will. Tears of frustration and slight panic, not at anyone other than herself and the situation. All she wanted was a place to be safe, accepted... Wanted...

"I'll come back for your pajamas later, Loika. We better get out of here, before shit gets real," said Peter, chuckling a bit. A crackle, followed by a pop and the next minute Peter was back to in their room now, where he sat Loika on a bed. Then he teleported outside again and grabbed Loika's pajamas. "You owe me for taking such a big risk and going out again," said Peter, smiling. He sat down on a bed next to Loika. "You know, you've only been back for couple of days, but you manage to piss people off in a few minutes. What's your secret?"

Luna looks at Jason and looks at the ground. She nods and begins to walk off, she turns to the girl for a quick second after her animals reacted in a weird way. ''Hey Cameron? Don't cry...may be frustration or whatever emotion you wanna call it. Just don't cry. I'll hopefully see ya around. Good day. Later Blade...Next time, you need to drop someone off for a place to stay, take 'em to mine with a warning that if they touch my kit, i'll go skits.'' She smiles at Blade and Cameron. She walks to her room, thinking about Loika's reaction to Blade. What happened between them? She lays down on the dark purple covers and just stares at the ceiling. Sleep didn't take her. It never did except that night with Achilles. She rests her head on the pillow and just stares, humming a small but soft tune to help her try and sleep.

Loika was laying on the bed when he came back and when he did she shifted to human and smirked. " Oh you know me baby. I just got a magical way with people. Im a very sociable person." She giggled and snuck under the covers. She was trying to push the little spat with gavin out of her mind. She didnt like that he got to her. One under the covers she beconed Peter back to bed with her. " come to bed. the girls and lakai are still sleeping." She said with a mischevious giggle.

"You are sociable, alright. Maybe even too sociable if you ask me." said Peter smiling as he dropped her pajamas on a bed by Loika's feet. It was already sunrise time and Peter didn't feel like sleeping, but he wouldn't mind lying down beside Loika. After all, he hasn't seen her for a long time and he missed her. He quickly took off his shoes and without undressing just plowed straight onto the bed, laughing and making Loika fly a bit off where she laid. Peter then turned on his back and folded his arms on his stomach, starring into the ceiling, "What powers do you think that girl has?" he asked, turning to look at Loika.

Jason heard everything Cameron was thinking. It is not your fault. I want to apologize on everyone's behalf. They were just curious. It is not everyday we get new members, said Jason to Cameron through her mind. He felt bad for her that everyone made her feel so unwelcome here. Even though, this institution was open for any mutant who wished to join. Jason looked Cameron in the eyes. "Cameron, you are more then welcome to stay here as long as you want. No one will try to subject you to anything you do not wish to do. The other kids were just curious about you, I am sure they meant no harm to you or Blade." said Jason.

Then, he was going to open the gates, but seeing how Peter already have done that, he just pried them open little wider, so that Cameron might be able to come through.  "I guarantee you, you will feel more safely here then anywhere else. Just ask Blade over here, he'll tell you."
