Let loose those animal instincts (R)

Loika walked down to the danger room. She was sleepy eyed and yawning. Logan had been pretty furious with her over something she couldnt control. He didnt request, he demanded that she start training with him. Apparently she had an attitude and he also wanted her to learn to channel her animal energy.

She arrived at the danger room dressed to fight . She saw logan and waved/yawned. Her wolf side hated being active during the day. " Morning logan... so we are sparring?" She said tiredly.

Logan looked up at Loika as she entered. It never ceased to amaze him how much that scrawny kid had grown into a scrawny adult in such a short amount of time. Maybe it was because they were both Stryker's experiments, maybe it was because they were both part animal. But logan felt a connection with the girl. It didnt mean she was getting off the hook though.

He grinned and reached over to the wall and touched the wall pad. Instantly all the lights went out and a simulation started. It was indoors. maybe a house or building but all of the lights were still out. " Think of this as an intense game of hide and seek. use ALL of your senses to find me. You find. You fight. C'mon little girl."  He chuckled in the darkness.

Loika was plunged into darkness and she instantly went into a fighting stance. She could hear wolverine in the room moving around. What was it that he said? Use all of her senses? Being part wolf she had nightvision.

She was letting her vision adjust to the darkness and she started to move through the house. She sniffed for him. It smelled old and musty. Like a house that had been abandoned a long time. She heard a floorboard creak in the house and she froze. Listening to where it was coming from. It was hard to tell. She slowly moved towards the sound. it sounded like it was upstairs. She walked on the balls of her feet to make as little noise as possible.

Logan could hear her in the house. She was trying to be quiet. She was good at walking quiet but he could still hear her breathing. He let the boards creak on purpose. She needed to think she had an advantage. He moved from one room to the other silently. She was making her way up the stairs. perfect. He waited for her to walk by at just the right moment and then he sprung from the dark.

Loika listened hard to everything. She was trying to breathe through her nose because breathing through her mouth was too loud. She just barely caught it but she heard wolverine move through the house. She tensed up. She still couldnt see where he was.

As she passed a doorway to one of the bedrooms she caught his scent but it was seconds too late. He sprang at her swinging his fists. She blocked most of the punches but took a few herself. They tumbled backwards into the stair railing and the railing gave way. Both fell with the railing to the first floor. She laid still for a second before her healing factor kicked in and she was back on her feet.

Wolverine let out a grunt when they both hit the floor. They were both now covered in dust and drywall dust. Good, she got up quickly. She was learning. He didnt give her a chance to recover. An enemy sure as hell wouldnt so why should he? He went right back into his attack. He released his claws and started swingin at her. He wasnt trying to kill the girl and he knew his strength.

Loika couldnt believe the fury logan was putting behind this training. He must really be peeved at her. He barely gave her any time before he started to attack again. He was already swinging again and this time with his claws. All of her senses were on overdrive as she attempted to duck and dodge his adamantium claws. She could only imagine what it would feel like to get sliced by those puppies. She saw an opening in his attacks and she took it. She laid an uppercut to his chin hard and swift.

Loika hit him hard in the chin. Most people would have broken their hands but she was logan 2.0 with her fancy adamatium. He staggered back then lunged forward with his claws on instinct. His claws sunk into her chest and torso until they hit adamantis bone and made a loud clinking sound.

He looked with shock and quickly pulled his claws out. " Hey! kid i didnt mean to dammit! ill go get the professor right away just stay here!"

Loika let out an oomph sound when Logan's blades sliced into her. It hurt like hell. " Ahhhh..." Was all she could manage to say. She looked down as logan pulled his blades out. blood was started to run down... but it was stopping. She looked confused. She could hear the panic in Logan's voice but she held out a hand. " L-logan. Look." Her injuries were already starting to heal. The small holes made by his blades were starting to heal. She snorted a laugh but groaned. Her internal injuries were still healing. " Logan. Im immortal." She said sounding pleased with herself. " Omg stab me again!"

Logan rolled his eyes. " Shut up this is serious. I am not going to stab you again. We are going to the professor. Now. Cmon." Logan was a bit confused. How did the girl develop immortal powers? He grabbed her by her wrist and started walking to Adrews' office. Hopefully he was there.

At the office door he knocked. " Hey Jason ya in there? We got sumthin to talk about."
