Finally alone (NC-17)

Fallon woke up early to get some peace as everyone slept. Pulling on her baggiest hoodie and sweatpants, she escaped her bedroom with her sneakers that thumped softly on the stairs as she goes up to the Institute Attic that she believed was so beautiful.

Arriving, she stares at the plants and hovers over the flowers softly as she's too afraid to touch them with her destructive fingers. Seeing a bench in the far corner that had ivy wrapped around it's iron handles, she seated herself on it and stared out the circular window. Plugging in her headphones, the sounds of Alice Cooper singing poison erupted and filled her with it's musical drug. Tapping her finger against the wooden bench, her soft voice emitted from her mouth.

''I want to love you, but I better not touch..
I want to hold you but my senses tell me to stop

You're poison, I don't want to break these chains''

It was rare for people to hear Fallon speak, so hearing her sing was a bizarre but wondrous moment that no one was there to hear. Secretly Fallon was saddened by that fact but she was also happy. The conflict of both emotions were so evident in her hazel eyes and she toyed with the shredded ends of her hoodie sleeves from her nervous habit whilst she kept singing.

Someone had heard it however. Well, four of one person. Kronos had. "You have a beautiful voice, don't you agree guys?" he said nervously, his three coppies agreed. He moved over to a box and began rummaging through it, the other three moved else where searching for things. One gathered educatonal books, on got lesiure books, one got frames and nails, Kronos got tools and paper. "I...Er, we are Kronos." he pushed another one out of one of his coppies and he went and grabbed some magazines. Kronos eventualy turned and smiled nervously. He reached and scratched the back of his head and neck. He was clearly shy...

Fallon didn't hear at first but her ears pricked and she took out her headphones to see a good looking lad. Wrapping her hoodie tighter around her slim body and was thankful her hood covered most of her face. Only her eyes were showing.''I..urm...thank you...'' She stared at the four, her curious eyes trying to pick out the real one. Seeing one of them push out a copy, Fallon tilted her head at him slowly to see him turn around and smile nervously. Cute smile... She thought to herself and it looked as if she was trying to bury herself closer into the bench. ''You are nervous?'' She questions in the quiet voice that caused her to get called a loser and pathetic.

Kronos smiled again. "Yes...." he moved to the other side of the room leaving another in his place who continued. "How can we not be when faced with such beauty..." He looked at his hands and rubs the palm of one with his thumb, as if he was rubbing something of. Yet his hand was clean. He looked back at her and smiled faintly "Why are you up here all alone? Not with the others?" he then turned and continued the Previous Kronos's job of searching the box. He had a pile of stuff next to him and the others had been doing the same.

Fallon was getting annoyed when he moved, leaving someone else in his place. She was getting frustrated but a blush formed on her cheeks. ''I am not beauty.'' She said bluntly and watched him rub his palm. Staring at him curiously, she stared at the floor at his question. ''The others don't like me. I'm a 'mute' apparently. I'm a freak as i'm unstable. It's better to be alone than stuck with 'em. Besides...everyone's asleep. I don't sleep.'' She admitted with a shrug as if she didn't care but her eyes said more. They were broken and always in a daze but no one would ever notice. She avoids eye contact at all cost. ''Would you...show me the real you? The non duplicate...it's quite irritating trying to figure out which one is the real you? That is...if you're comfortable with it.'' She blushes deeper and looks out the window again.

Kronos sighs. "Its always the once with whom never notice...." he muttered. "You're exceptinly beautiful, and a freak? I don't see that." he nodded at her request and they all absorbed into one another. The Real Kronos was stood in a corner of the room and he slowly walked out. His hands in his ankle long jacket. "Hello. I am Kronos." He smiled once more. "I don't sleep either. Don't need to. Don't want to...The nightmares that scar us never leave do they?" he paused then continued. "I...I am wondering why you seem dazed? Such beauty in those eye yet they remain dazed and glassed over. Broken to...Such beauty should not be burdened by such heavy thoughts..." he said whilst looking away. Avoiding eye contact.

Fallon bit back a laugh at his mutter and blushed much deeper at his words before staring at the floor. He formed back into one and he walked towards her. ''I-I'm Fallon...'' She said softly before pulling her legs up to her chest. ''I don't like nightmares. They are pointless and simply your mind torturing you for the heck of it.'' Fallon said with frustration and stared at his torso, the best place to stare and avoid eye contact. ''I am not beauty...but yes...heavy thoughts. I think of my nightmares and my past all the time. I guess that's why...I think about about how unstable i am, Kronos...'' She said his name for the first time and it rolled off her tongue with ease. ''May i ask...why did you hide yourself with your duplicates and why you're not down there yourself? Oh and why don't you sit down?'' She points to the empty part of the bench next to her and shuffles closer to the edge in attempts to give him more space.

Kronos walked over and sat slowly, making great care not to touch her. He sat on the far side, not because of her. Because he couldn't trust his own powers. He was worried he might burn, shock, freeze her. He smiled faintly "Because although I can fit in with all of them, I don't belong. I fit in because I am powerful. I control it. However. I don't belong. My power far extends my capabilities and it worrying when I lose control. I do not wish to lose control. I hate it, but it always happens...You're not beauty? I must be blind, yet I have perfect vison. Hmmm" he pulled a pair of glasses out and put them on. "Nope, not blind. You're beautiful." He smiled, took them of and put them back in his coat pocket. I hide with my dupe's because its safe. Something I can control, people tend to harm me. Thats how I stop it."

Fallon watched him carefully, taking in his shyness but also his worry. The space between them clarified that. ''You are worried? Why?'' She asks with a frown, staring at his nose as a way to avoid eye contact. Hearing his words, the urge to comfort him was strong but she feared she would hurt him and lose a possible friend. ''Kronos...I think you do belong. There are many people, people like me, that can't control their powers that well either. I hate not being in control...I hurt people. That's one of the reasons why i'm up here. It helps me avoid people so i don't hurt 'em.'' She admitted, resting her chin on her knees whilst thinking of memories. Blushing at his words, she glanced quickly at him and looked back at the duplicates working. ''I am not but thank you...You're very sweet.'' Fallon blushes deeper and stares at her hands that were toying with her shredded sleeves. ''And very handsome. Oh and you have two abilities?'' She questions with a raise of her eyebrow and continued staring at Kronos' duplicates. Thinking about it, she wouldn't be able to change their moods so it was perfect for her to be able to stare at him.

Kronos nods. "Yeah...I believe the technical term is powersourcing" he opened the palms of his hands and electricity shot from it. Pulsing and then he collapsed it, closing his hand. He smiled. "I can do as I wish with absorbed power...I absorb solar, luna and electrical mainly." he smiled faintly "I don't belong with those bullies. They annoy and infuriate me..." he stammered when the comment of him being handsome hit him "I...I...urm...thanks......." Kronos created a duplicate "Go us some food mate" Kronos nodded "sure, would you like some Fallon?"

Fallon couldn't help but smile with amazement. She stared at the electrical shot and her hand raised to touch it but she placed it back on her lap with embarrassment. Staring at his smile, she listens carefully. ''So...you don't absorb fire and ice?'' She asks with wonder in her hazel eyes. She hoped. ''I hate them...T-they don't like me. They call me a murderer.'' She whispered the last part and stared out the window, a lone tear sliding down her left cheek. She laughed lightly at his stammer. ''It's okay, Kronos...'' She said his name with a sweet softness that ran off her tongue with ease. ''I'd love some, thank you..'' Fallon replied and continued to stare out the window.

The second Kronos walked downstairs to fetch food. "I can, I just don't come into contact with it often, see, from Solar, I make Fire, from Luna, I make ice, from moving I make kinetic blasts, electric, I make lightning..." He smiled "Murderer? Why..? I...I have killed...So I know how it feels to have stained hands." he smiled faintly before turning to see his double arrive. "CHIPS!" he annouced. "I can see that Kronos" the other sighed. "Must you be sarcastic?" Kronos sighed himself. "Yes. Come here" he absorbed him and was now holding a set of chips in each hand. "Here" he said passing the plate "Enjoy my friend."

Fallon watched as the duplicate walk away. ''I think you mean Lunar...not Luna. But i suppose that is the same thing.'' She tilted her head thinking and then looked towards him. Her fingers itched to test if she'd hurt him but she couldn't. Her hand laid in the middle of the bench, leaning on it. ''I killed my family. I-I...have pathokinesis as a power. I can manipulate people's moods. We were in a car...and i changed the mood of my dad before i even knew my power. He drove us off a bridge due to the emotion he was feeling. Depression. A strong feeling of it as well...Everyone died but me. I don't remember anything before that. Just blurs.'' Fallon admitted and then frowned. ''I've not said that in a long time...Some telepath read my mind and found out. Told everyone but...i ain't ever told anyone.'' She said softly. She smiled at the duplicate before he went inside Kronos and hesitantly took a chip, biting it gently. ''Thank you....friend...'' She blushed at being called a friend.

Kronos smiled. "I...Watched my parents burn. My brother. Achilles. He quite literaly exploded...I went on a war path, slaughtering innocents and guilty alike...I left and lived in the mountains of china, learning all combat techniques...Then became a force of justice from 13-16...Now I have come home...I know how it feels to be tainted with blood...It's horrible, all you can do is move on I am afraid. Thats all you can do..." he smiled and munched on his chips. He noticed the hand. "If you're wondering. It proberbly wont hurt me."

Fallon listened but couldn't help but be happy at the fact someone understood. She ate some more ships and blushes as he mentions her hand. She, unknowingly, shuffled closer to him with a hint of excitement in her eyes at the thought of being able to touch someone, to touch him. ''Y-you d-don't mind if i...try it, do you? It's been....a long time since i've touched someone...'' She admitted, glancing at him shyly, her cheeks bright red with an embarrassed and nervous blush.

Kronos raised his arm and moved it towards her opening his palm, allowing her to touch his hand. "Its fine. Anything you channel into me I will absorb....and yes. I do understand. I understand very well how you feel............Its hard to forget though...but people like you and me. Born strong. Born to survive. We are unique you and I...Others don't quite understand." He ate another chip and fixed her with his eyes, He caught hers briefly but looked away as he knew she didn't like it. "I insist. I will be fine. Trust me."

Fallon stared as his hand nervously and raised her own. The palm of her hand was covered in what looked like burn mark scars and she slowly let it touch Kronos. Her eyes fluttered shut and she softly touched his hand, playing with his fingers and lacing her hand with his. Opening her eyes, she stared at their hands intertwined grinning happily as no pain was caused to Kronos. ''I'm not sure i like being unique. My kind of unique hurts people in ways they don't understand.'' Knowing he caught her eyes, she glanced away but pulled up her courage and willed herself to control her power. She looked up into his eyes and then her mind raced. She stared back at their hands and smiled brightly. ''I trust you...'' She admitted.

Kronos smiled. He could feel her cold flames being absorbed by him. He made a spiral of flames and ice flames in there hands. "That...is beautiful...much like you." he put his glasses on and looked closer. "My solar transformed into pyro and your ice fire, absorbed by me on touch and mixed together. Its cool isn't it. Pun intended." he smiled at her. "I don't see why people don't get on with you, I really don't."

Fallon stared at the flame with shock. She had never seen something so beautiful. In her eyes, her powers were hideous, destructive. Not beautiful like the spiral. She blushed deeply at his words and stared at him with wonder and happiness. I like him....more than i should. She thought to herself. Blushing, she listened to him and nodded slowly. ''V-very cool...'' Smiling back, she stared at their hands again and began rubbing her thumb against his hand. ''Because i've hurt people here. I'm always too quiet for people...I get on with my studies and stay in my room all day and night or here just to avoid people. I don't give 'em a chance because usually once they find out i can hurt 'em with ease, they run off and hate me.'' She said gently, stroking his hand unknowingly.

Kronos blushes as she rubs his hand. He smiled and made electricity bounce of the spire and crackle. He smiled and chuckled. He collapsed the spire and lightning disappated into his hands. He smiled at her again. "Your eyes are beautiful...Very beautiful...like...a labryinth, I get lost in them..." he smiled faintly "See, your touch is great, it tingles, the fire and ice...It doesn't hurt as I can absorb it...It feel wonderful." He smiled at her and smiled. "You don't harm me...However...I think you potentialy could...but I don't think you would."

Fallon blushes as he says her eyes are beautiful and she stared at where the spiral was. ''T-thank you...your skin is so warm and soft...It feels nice to finally be able to touch someone.'' She was unknowingly leaning closer, excitement and happiness in her eyes. ''I'm glad I don't harm you...No..I won't hurt you.'' She admitted, blushing deeper. Staring at their hands, she kept stroking it and then glanced back up at him. She began biting her lip softly and smiled.

Kronos was now aware he'd moved closer. He smiled earlier and leaned towards her but maintained a distance that was allowing personal space. He smiled at her. His blush clearly showing. You hands are soft...These scars...from where did they come? Why would someone harm such perfection?" he smiled at her and looked up. Again catching her eyes...however...He stared for longer and his faint smile grew to a full smile. "I love your eyes...."

Fallon noticed the small distance between them and couldn't stop blushing. She stared back at her hands and then up at him. ''I-I was young...I think a man in my family had a power of his own. A fire power. He was mad one day and i was crying. He grabbed my hands and yanked me up, causing my hands to burn. He let go of me instantly and then grabbed my leg telling me if i tell anyone, he'd make sure i felt worse pain.'' She admitted for the first time ever. ''I have a hand mark scar on my ankle as well.'' She locked eyes on to him and leaned closer, slowly but steadily. ''You love my eyes, eh?'' She raises her eyebrow, blushing madly.

Kronos frowned. "How dare he......." he smiled later and blushed. "Yes....I do love your eyes....I...I don't see why you attempt to hide them from me....I think they are beautiful. And...I never sleep. I don't need too...I can make coppies to do it for me." he chuckled and leaned forward slowly. There heads touch and rest upon each other. He smiles at her as he takes her hand in his and he smiles with joy glinting in his eyes, the eyes lost in hers.

Fallon simply shrugged. ''It didn't hurt.'' She admitted and blushed. ''Pathokinesis...i don't want to change your mood so you get angry or even hate me. So I avoid eye contact but you...it doesn't effect you...I don't sleep either. My thoughts are too...haywire to do so.'' In her mind, she was confused at the random mention of sleep but she didn't mind. His head rested on hers and her heart races and she looks into his handsome eyes. Nudging his nose with hers softly, she bravely pecks his lips as a tester to see his reaction. His lips were soft and perfect against hers and deep inside, she knew she wanted more. Fallon bit her lip nervously.
