Silus wasn't overly worried, though he still seemed really shy and his thoughts were mostly nothing more than song lyrics and feeling awkward around this unnamed girl and this nearly homeless dying guy. She was leading them to a place where her mom worked, and she said something about a peanut-butter milkshake which practically gave Silus an elated feeling, seeing as he loved peanut-butter and he loved milkshakes.

So. All three of us are...different, huh? He wondered to himself, safely within his mind, though foolishly unaware that Mackenzie's ability to speak to his mind also allowed her to hear. He was following at this point simply in the hopes of having a decent conversation. Silus smiled after he saw the little girl's doll flopping about with the movements of the backpack. He recalled still having a little Black lab from "Build-a-bear" or somewhere like that. Louie the Lab, but he couldn't remember who got it for him... his past was a...blank. His head began to hurt, like it always did before...no, he'd be fine... he may not have been if he dwelled much longer, but luckily it didn't look like they had too far left to go.

"Yes. All three of us are different. Unique and different." She said without turning around to  look at him as they walked along. She knew people didnt like her in thier heads but she couldnt help it. It was like having a bunch of radios on at once. This new kid helped some of it stop. She could sence she might be able to help him. She smiled.

So his life had gone from one extreme to the next. From being allied to a group of mutants that wanted nothing more than to subjugate humanity to their will, and then out on the street nearly dying. Now he was walking to a diner along with a young girl and a young boy a few years older than her, both of them around half his age really, maybe even less. Not that Sean could complain about age, as he was…well no in the best state possible. His stomach was still dreaming about cheeseburgers, growling lowly as he pressed a single hand over it as if that would quiet it. The female voice entered his head, saying something about them being different, unique and different. His mind would wander on about the idea of fast food and other fatty things.

The voice echoed in his head again as he smiled. It was good to hear a voice that wasn't Styx. This one was nicer, calmer and all around better. Then again, Silus just continued behind them until they finally reached the area of the diner. Whatever happened from there really relied on the girl he followed. He didn't know anything about these two. But he didn't really worry about it, they weren't going to hurt him. He was beginning to wonder if he should contact Matron Ophelia though to let her know where he was. Then he recalled the fact that his curfew was a good ways away from now. He didn't want to bother the Matron any more than he did normally. Silus began to worry if he was bothering the matron too much. Sure she was all smiles and happiness to him, and she seemed to like him well enough....but Silus couldn't help but feel like a bother.

He pushed the thoughts aside as he found himself with a burst of energy, assuming that the diner ahead was the one they were headed to, Mel's is the name apparently. Silus found himself maneuvering past Sean to open the door for Mackenzie and the ailing male, Silus fearful he lacked the energy to get the door himself. Though for Mackenzie it was just because it was polite to get the door for people. He didn't know why...but there was a faint echo of a voice in the back of his head that told him so.

Loika was tall and slender with black hair and shockingly blue eyes. She looked similar to her sister lakai. She was in a bright yellow diner waitress' uniform and rushing from one table to another.

She looked up when she hear  the doof and raised an eyebrow at her daughter. Two boys were with her. She lifted her head very slightly and sniffed. Shd could smell that they were mutants. Mackenzie seemed okay with them so she wasnt as panicked as she could have been. She motioned for them to sit at a booth in her section and went to thier table as soon as shs could. " hey there kiddo you bring friends for lu ch? What will you boys have? Let me know and ill tKe care of it." She smiled and set down menus.

Mackenzie nodded at her mom and didnt bother picking up a menu. She already knew what she liked. She ate here with daddy alot. " I want a bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a peanutbutter shake." She was small but she could put alot of food away. She blushed and looked away from the surprised look on her mom's face that she spoke out loud instead of with her mind.

Sean walked through the front door of the diner, blinking a few times at the brightness of the lights until his eyes grew accustomed to them and wiped away a few bits of moisture. An older female would motion for them to sit at a booth, Sean sitting down and crossing arms over his chest as he let his stuff fall to where it could sit, reclining there until the female would return asking them what they wanted. Silver pools would turn to the woman as he considered what he wanted for food. ”I want a cheeseburger, some French fries and… a sprite.” Sean would order resting on his elbows and yawning lightly.

Silus let the others past and then held the door for an elderly couple that walked through to exit. After that he walked up and sat down next to them. So apparently a really pretty lady with really pretty blue eyes was the interesting little girl's mama-bear. Silus smiled at her and gave a little wave as he shrunk into his hoodie like it was a turtle shell of sorts. He was a little red, he was a really shy when it came to meeting people. He smiled really big when he heard Mackenzie's real voice. He let out a pleased hum as he leaned onto the countertop and finally it was his turn. He smiled and fidgeted slightly as he felt like he was the center of attention.

"uh-uh-uh...uhm.. I-...erhmmmm" He stuttered as he began to feel like he was about to have a little bit of a panic attack. Calm.Down. He thought, echoing in his abdomen. He sighed and felt his anxieties fade as he made a rather smooth recovery. "Peanut-butter milkshake please!" He said with a sweet smile. "Thank you!" he would be sure to remember to thank her. He then looked to Sean and tried to inspect and see if he would be okay, though his smile still faintly there. Probably because he partially felt like he could trust this man. He'd been wrong before though.

Loika wrote down thier orders. She gave the older boy a look over when he stared her down. Mack seemed to trust him so she did too. The younger one was sweet. He seemed terrified of loika and that amused her.

She took thier orders to the kitchen and put them in then returned with thier drinks. After setting thier drinks down she sat on the edge of the seat and looked at the boys seriously. " i dont know who you boys are but are you in some kind of trouble? I dont care if you are i just dont want my daughter dragged down in something.do you boys need help?"
