"Since you are such a popular lady in demand."
Jon hissed, raising his hand to grab her shoulder. This was only a distraction. The other hand held the syringe ready, and he discreetly jerked it up as Eve fliched away from him, aiming to stab her arm with the needle.

"It will all make sense in time."

The entire plan started with Evelyn Fireheart. By the end, the world could be changed.

As Eve was ready to hell something at him again, she felt something pinch her skin, then a liquid run her body. She slowly looked down at her arm to find a syringe stuck in it.
She looked at Jon with a pleading stare. Why was he doing this? What did he want from her and Kas?
The liquid effects had started already, and she felt dizzy.
She begun to walk but ended up fall in Jon's arms. Her legs were numb.Everything was numb. She couldn't even speak straight. She sighs and closed her eyes, everything turning black.

7th Ave, between Manhattan and Harlem..

Kas was skimming things about plane ticket and hotel availability and cost ranges. The plans didn't need to come together for a few weeks yet, but Kas was anxious to make the idea something tangible.
An interesting sight caught his eye, and while Kas was driving home he looked ahead and saw a colomn of dark smoke rising. He looked a little longer, and better pinpointed the direction of the source.

"Holy shit.."
It really was coming from the apartments where he lives. Kas felt an ice-cold chill go down his back as he considered the possiblities.
Stepping on the gas and changing the aerodynamic forces on the Supra, he gunned the car into the turning lane and flew. A couple of times he came to red lights with cross-traffic, but drove on through it, adjusting his path and that of the other cars only the amount necessary to divert a collision. Make it seem like a 'stroke of luck' that the other person had narrowly escaped. Stress often made people unable to recall every detail of what they saw.

"Fuck!"
As Kas slowed and passed by the inlet to the parking lot, he saw a line of flashing vehicles. Police blocked the driveways. A fire truck and ambulence were staged behind the row of parked cars, and emergency personel were swarmed on the sidewalk.
Kas turned down an alley. He behind a row of dumpsters that sat next to a run-down thai resturaunt. After turning off the engine, he sat quietly and listened to everything around; honed in on every life-sign in the area.
Something down the alley caught his attention. Two big dogs, breathing heavily.

Leaning to grab a beat-up m1911 silenced pistol from the underneath his seat, Kas gazed over at the luminous cloud of smokes, ash and sparks. His place was exactly where it was hottest.

Kelly didn't know if he should even get out, or not. Whether to stay, or leave.
The apartment was no big loss. Katt was most likely already dead, or managed to get away.
What reason did he have to go investigate the kind of damage done?
Kas got the feeling he needed to leave, but didn't have any idea where to go.
He started the Supra, and sped away down the alley. He didn't think anyone had noticed him lingering one half a block away from the disaster, but Kas wasn't going to take a chance on anyone following him. The silver car quickly kept going, and vanished into the dark.

(and I think this is pretty much done!)
