"Oh by all means, have your fun. After all, you are my guest." Aramis said with a smirk as he looked over to the men back there. Sure Silus called him "Royal Pain" and he accepted it, but for all they knew it was based upon his last name and had nothing to do with mutant-powers. They actually didn't even know if he was a mutant or not in all reality, he never outwardly expressed it either way. As far as Aramis was concerned it was quite easily believable that the M.R.D came after the Payne family regarding this unique mutant-hunting material. He was not one to flaunt his powers if he could avoid it, but he needed to be prepared. Desperate times turned to desperate measures. With Travis likely going to deal with intruders and Rachel Mason not in sight any longer he would await Silus' departure into the vents. With himself in the clearing he turned his head over his shoulder at the corralled M.R.D who were kneeling with their hands behind their head.

Aramis' eye narrowed and he let out a little growl. He turned back and he walked after Travis, leaving a chorus of screaming M.R.D soldiers in his wake. The power of pain coursing through them all, and allowing Aramis to feed upon it, store it and empower himself for his confrontation. This would be over soon. Soon he'd have his father, brother and sister back and life could go back to normal, or as normal as it was for high nobility. He felt muscles tighten, spasms as sudden augmentation overtook him. He stepped around a corner and caught up with Travis, allowing him to lead the way while Aramis kept a gun in hand, wondering how man 16 year olds around the world were doing crazy shit like this.

Silus beamed a huge smile at the sound of Travis' approval over the events. He found himself proud of his idea and nodded with fervor when the vent was pulled off. He immediately set to work and began to slowly crawl through the duct work and made his way to parts unknown. He crawled all about, getting dust and grime all over his hoodie until eventually the hoodie caught. He was forced to shed it like a snake's skin as he then maneuvered around in his tee-shirt. Vent by vent he passed, looking down at the floor below to see if any M.R.D could be seen. He heard grunting and he could have swore he heard people screaming behind him. He continued on, fearful and unknowing of Aramis' power. Sure he knew he was a mutant, they went to school together at a mutant institute after all.

Vent by vent, he looked and looked and looked. He made like a snake and slithered his way through a series of lefts and then rights and then lefts again until he passed a vent that he almost skipped past. He was glad he didn't though. He backed up slightly and his eyes widened faintly glowing indigo. There were over four dozen M.R.D at least flooding out of this room and setting up positions in the hallway. Others began to exit through a back way, keeping on each side as if they were at attention. Then it happened. The man from the picture Aramis presented had walked out, a young man who looked like an older Aramis and a little girl with him. Their mouths were covered by cloth and their hands were shackled. They were being taken somewhere...but Silus wondered where the father was. He wished to pursue this man, and the captives, but the confined space prevented him from doing so. He would decide on following the vents into the room they came from. As he moved he arrived into the next room and looked through the vent, as he did the vent fell through and he tipped over and fell out, crashing to the floor. Fear took hold of Silus as he awaited soldiers to come in and hurt him...but they never came... He looked around and froze, petrified by what he saw. He felt bad...he was scared and he wanted to cry as he looked to the body of Aramis' father laying there.
