After the Storm Trooper pressed the button, he threw the remote down, smashing it near April's feet. She winced and cast a deathglare at him, but he disregarded it. The Trooper removed his gloves and quickly grasped her by the nape of her neck without warning.
"Get your hands out of the way, let me see."
April put up no struggle, even as a thumb somewhat roughly swiped the blood off her lips and dried her chin.
"You'll be fine." The snobbish Storm Trooper announced, though he didn't release her yet.
She demonstrated a small, sour smile.
"Should I feel flattered? You almost sound like you care." April laughed softly.
"It's time to move to the second phase. Get in there and lie that little heart-shaped ass off.. Leia."
After he released her, the Trooper ran off in the direction of the other small group.
April stared down the dark alley as if in a trance for a moment, then shuddered and finally turned toward the door. Waiting for someone to walk out didn't take long. Now people were beginning to feel the effects of the vaporized inhibitor, and that was bound to make a few upset to say the least.
As questions began to fly, the brunette stepped in through a back door and proceeded to search for her audience. Both hands and face still stained crimson, it was obvious something happened to her. It took only moments for someone to notice her and ask; then it was time to let the pandemonium begin.
"They're out there! We caught onto them, but they ran away!" She related, pointing to the door while trying to keep one hand over her nose.
"I heard them, saying they want to take us down a few notches."
It didn't take long at all, and bystanders added to the small spectacle, some bringing napkins or tissue so April could stop the trickle, and as each reached to help her their favors were returned with a tiny glimpse of how glorious they could truly be.
Even a little drop of April's blood was like a drug from another planet. Mutant super-steriods was a good way to describe it. Normally the brunette was very mindful of where it went if she was ever injured.
Tonight, however, was all about trickery and deception.
